Haru managed to find Gray and the two set out to find Warren in order to communicate with those of the guild that were okay to help take down the Thunder Palace.
"I still need more." Asami muttered as she continued to use her magic to form more spheres of water from the canal and aimed them all at the lightning lacrimas. "And I'm also out of time." She managed to get one hundred up in the sky. Like her Erza was struggling to summon more blades since she was lower on magic power, but she was able to summon almost 100 blades so far.
"Hey, can everyone hear me?"
Asami's head snapped up. "Warren?"
"This is an emergency! Look up at the sky!"
"It's in my head? Telepathy?"
"Wake up you lazy bums! And if there's anyone still fighting, hold up for now!"
"That's Warren's telepathy." She concluded.
"Listen up, everyone! We gotta destroy those things floating in the sky with all the magic power we got! It's a magic spell from Laxus that'll attack the city! There's no time! Everyone do it!"
"Those are Laxus's Warren, why do you know about the Thunder Palace?" Erza spoke.
"That voice Erza?" Asami heard his voice and let out a sigh of relief.
She spoke up. "Gray, you're okay?"
"Asami. Yeah I'm okay. Haru found me, are you alright?" He asked his fiance.
"Yeah."
"Took me a while to find the guy."
"Erza? You're not turned to stone?"
"So, if Erza's okay are the others?"
"Is Levy?" Jet asked worried about his teammate.
"Everyone is safe. Worry not. Juvia is also okay." Elfman stated.
"So is Bisca, Alzack." Asami added knowing that he was obviously concerned for the green haired mage's safety.
"I see Thank goodness"
"Really Sorry. My telepathy can't reach all the way to the guild. We'll have to do it with the people who can hear me. Destroy those things up in the sky!" Warren explained.
"Damn you, Warren! Did you forget what you did to me?" Max yelled through the telepathy in anger. Soon enough all the fighting began once more but telepathically.
"Max? I'm sorry about that, man I was, like, really trying to save Erza and the others, so-"
"This is Droy! Can you hear me, Alzack?"
"I-I hear you. I'm sorry about before."
"You think that's gonna cut it? You hit me with a sneak attack!"
"And you, Wakaba!"
"We're not gonna forgive you, Laki!"
Gray snapped at all of them cutting of their fighting. "Save the fightin' for later!"
"You're one to talk!" They all yelled back in unison and Asami sweat dropped.
"There is no time now! Destroy the things floating in the sky! You don't get it, do you?" Gray was ignored as everyone continued their bickering.
"Everyone, listen!" Asami heard Lucy yell and everyone else was silenced by the blondes outburst. "This isn't the time to be fighting! The people of the city are in real danger! We have to all work together to protect the city of Magnolia! If we combine our powers, we can overcome anything! That's what I've learned after coming here." Asami smiled as the celestial mage continued. "I know I just joined Fairy Tail recently. But my feelings for this guild are as strong as anybody's! Fairy Tail has been my dream since long ago It's always been my goal. Even now. So, please Let's all work together Let's protect our guild and our city!"
"Lucy...." Erza muttered.
"And if that won't convince you I'll destroy all the lacrima myself!"
Cana spoke up. "Listen up people! You really gonna let the newbie one up you like that?"
"She's not new any more-"
" She's got more Fairy Tail spirit than any of us!"
"Lucy, you're exactly right. We'll settle things later."
"I can't argue with that, now can I?"
"Thanks to you, I'm thinking straight again."
"Are all you folks ready?"
"You guys."
"Everyone Warren, we'll settle this after those things are destroyed."
"Makao, you can't handle this! Take a nap!"
"Oh, yeah? Wakaba! You sure prance around a lot for an old man."
"Let's go, Happy!" Lucy stated.
The blue cat looked at her in shock. "They have Body Link magic protecting them! If you attack them, you'll get damaged yourself! It's gonna hurt!"
"Even if it hurts, I'll do it anyway! I always looked up to Fairy Tail And I've gotten to be such good friends with everyone Sure, a lot of things have happened But everyone has always been so warm. This guild is where I belong. It's my home. My heart yells out "This is where I should be!" So I'm going to fight! Because it was Fairy Tail that made me strong!" She explained with determination.
"Right on!"
"Let's go!"
"Aye, sir!" Happy picked her up and they flew towards the lacrima.
"Asami and I will handle the 200 North and the rest of you will take care of the South." Erza commanded.
"Don't leave a single one left!" Asami stated as the spheres of water exploded on the lightning lacrima.
"Ice Make Lance!"
"Demon Blast!"
"Go forth, my blades!"
"Max Speed Attack!"
All the lacrima were destroyed. "We did it." Asami muttered just before they were all shocked by the lightning. "Everyone okay?" Asami asked as she laid on the ground.
"Honestly You people are so reckless." Erza said as she was also on the ground.
"Birds of a feather, you know" Gray muttered and Haru muttered a yeah.
"We really are a great guild." Asami giggled.
"And we'd be even better if Laxus got over this rebellious phase."
"No kidding."
"Alzack, are you okay?"
"Droy?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks."

Back at the Cathedral Natsu continued to fight Laxus. The two realize that Thunder Palace has been stopped and this anger Laxus even more and attacks Natsu who is saved by Gajeel. The two dragon slayers attack Laxus with everything they've got. They aren't able to manage a single hit much to their dismay and Laxus reveals that he is also a dragon slayer. He prepares to do Fairy Law when Levy shows up to inform him that Makarov is on his deathbed and he needs to see him, but he doesn't listen and does it any way.
"Laxus...." Asami mumbled when she felt the magic power he was releasing, knowing it was Fairy Law that he performed just now. It failed though. She was relieved and knew it had to do with Laxus not actually feeling the way he claimed he did and his heart betrayed him. She smiled looking up at the sky as she made her way to the guild.

After Natsu defeated Laxus, everyone met up at the guild and those who were injured were treated.
"Thanks to Porlyusica help the Master is going pull through just fine!" Erza announced to everyone in the guildhall. "So don't worry he'll be back to work in no time." Everyone cheered in response.
Asami stood next to Gray who had his arm wrapped around her as they stood in front of Lucy while Haru was flying about with Happy. "Thank goodness. I gotta admit, I was getting a little worried."
"It's gotta take a lot more for Gramps to kick the bucket." Gray said and Asami nodded in agreement.
"Well he isn't as young as he used to be. So, any added stress to his heart could significantly affect his health." Erza commented as she stood in front of the table they were all seated at. "Let's be on best behavior. Okay!"
"Aye Sir!" Everyone yelled in unison.
"I don't know if it's such a good idea to do the Fantasia Parade after everything that's happened." Lucy said.
"But the master wants us to do it. Besides it's the best way to cheer everyone up after all that mess." Mirajane smiled at the mages at the table as she stood next to her brother.
"I can't wait to see what you all have in store for the parade." Juvia said.
"You're going to be in it too." Asami smiled at her blue haired friend.
"I didn't think I'd get to since I'm still new." She muttered as she sulked over by one of the pillars. Asami and Gray chuckled awkwardly.
"Isn't she the cutest." Cana grinned as she drank.
"A lot of members were injured fighting against each other so anyone who's not hurt has to participate!" Happy mumbled as he had a fish in his mouth.
Haru hit him on the head. "Don't talk with your mouth full."
"Does that mean I'm gonna be in it to?" Lucy asked.
"Yeah. I mean we need all the people we can get." Asami said as she sweat dropped pointing over to Natsu and Gajeel who are all wrapped up in bandages. "Especially since we can't use those two."
"Oh yeah." The blonde responded and Natsu mumbled out a response, but since his mouth was covered in bandages it was muffled. "Does anyone have any idea what he's saying?"
"Knowing him it's probably something stupid." Haru muttered as he laid on Gray's head.
"I wonder how Gajeel can understand him?"
"Probably because he's just as stupid as Natsu is." Happy said as he chewed on more food.
Asami and Gray chuckled in response as they watched Happy and Lucy bicker, but stopped when they saw Laxus come inside the guild. Silence took over the whole guild hall as most members glared at the Master's grandson.
"Where's the old man?" Laxus asked as he walked further inside and everyone began to tell him off.
"Quiet everyone!" Erza shouted before lowering her voice. "The master is in the infirmary."
Everyone stood in their spots as Laxus made his way over to the infirmary. Natsu soon started to yell but it was muffled as he approached Laxus with a glare. Everyone was dumbfounded by Natsu's muffled shouting unable to comprehend.
"Can you translate, Gajeel?" The water dragon slayer asked.
Gajeel stood in between Asami and Lucy as he explained, "He said next time it ain't gonna be two against one. It'll just be me and you, face to face and I swear I ain't gonna lose to you again or something."
"Wait a second. I thought you guys beat him?" Lucy asked.
"No. I'd say it was more like a draw. Look what he did to us. If he had been around during the Phantom Battle, I'd be six feet under right now." Laxus walked passed Natsu who started yelling again at him in protest and Laxus raised his hand up, causing Natsu to stop.
"Alright show's over! Let's get ready for the Fantasia Parade!" Erza announced and everyone cheered.
Inside the infirmary, Makarov has a heart to heart with his grandson. Laxus is expelled from the Fairy Tail guild and Laxus leaves quietly, thanking him. He only kicked Laxus out leaving the rest of Thunder Legion to become saddened.

Fireworks were set off as the crowd cheered. All of the Fairy Tail members that were able to participate were now in the Fantasia Parade. The wizard's used their magic as entertainment. Lucy, Levy, Juvia, and Bisca were doing a small dance on their float. While Elfman and Mirajane shared another float. Asami and Gray had their own water and ice float making the words Fairy Tail appear in the air using their magic while Haru flew around. Erza was using her ex-quip magic, Cana using card and finally Natsu walking behind doing fire magic.
Laxus stayed behind to see the parade and smiled to himself when he saw his grandfather doing a crazy dance. He had a small memory back to when he was a small kid. He would hold up his hand pointing one finger in the air meaning that even if he can't see him he's still looking his way. He begins to walk away, but stops mid step turning around to see his grandfather doing it followed by everyone else apart of the guild as well. He silently cries.
"I may not be able to see you....there may be hundreds of miles between us,but I'll always be looking your way. I'll be watching over you...forever. I promise."
"I know. Thank you, Grandpa."
