London Review Bookshop
Finished off with morning duty Chorong went to her favorite bookshop, she always go there to buy books or just spend her leisure time there. She grab one book, take a seat at the sofa and start reading. While reading she notice someone stole a glance from the bookshelves not to far from her seat. She try to have a look in case she know the person but that person walk away and went up to 2nd floor. She ignored it and continue reading the book. Spending more than hours she pack her bags, got to the counter and make a payment for the book. She leave the bookshop and went to straight to cafe to buy coffee before she go home.
Wild & Wood Cafe
While waiting for her coffee she check her phone for any text, call or email from work or friends.
Girl: Ms. Park your coffee and red velvet cake here.
Chorong: thank you.
She take her order and leave the coffee shop, she could not open the door because both her hand holding her coffee, cake and phone. While she struggling try to open the door, one guy come and help her.
Chorong: thank you.
Guy: welcome.
Chorong look at his face and saw the guy smiling at her. She feels like she knew this guy before but forgot where or when. The guy extend his right hand to shake her hand.
Guy: hai..
Chorong: (hesitated) sorry my hand full with this (showing her coffee and cake).
Guy: owhh..it's okay. My name is Lee Jin Ki, you're Korean right?
Chorong: yes, I'm Korean. My name is Park Chorong, you can call me Chorong. You name seems familiar to me, ermm..forget about it maybe I've got wrong person.
Guy: of course you know me, we both attended same school.
Chorong: seriously? Which class are you?
Guy: 5C..you from class 5A right?
Chorong: yes..sorry to ask how do i know you?
Guy: (laugh a little) I don't know if you still remember, last time you got cut on you knees and I'm the one who help you to applied the medication into you wound.
Chorong: (recalled back) oh yes I remember you Onew-shi right? If I'm not mistaken I saw you at the bookshop today.
Onew: hehehe..good guess. Yes my name is Onew and please don't be too formal with me, just call me Onew. Yup, that's me at the bookshop just now, sorry for acting weird because I'm about to approach you but I'm not sure if it's you at first.
Chorong: no worries, it's funny though last time you said the same thing to me hehehe..nice to meet you.
Onew: nice to meet you too, I can't believe I meet you again after years and here we are in London not in Korea. If you don't mind can I treat you a cup coffee or something? While we still here at this coffee shop we can talked about our old stories.
Chorong: I already bought mine.
Onew: you keep and eat it at home, you order new drinks, my treat okay?
Chorong: sure..why not, it's not always we going to see old friends in this big city.
They both laugh, Onew open the door and find an empty seat. Onew order drinks for them, Chorong send text to Naeun saying that she will come home late. Onew come with the drinks and cake.
Onew: your drinks and cake. So you working or still study here?
Chorong: working of course, after we graduate I've got an offer here, I further my study and now working full time here.
Onew: where you work?
Chorong: St. Thomas Hospital.
Onew: you're a doctor?
Chorong: yes, I'm a doctor there.
Onew: wow..awesome!
Chorong: how about you? Working? Holiday?
Onew: working under my dad company, family business. I'm on and off travel from Korea, London, Dubai and Usa. Next week I will fly to Dubai for meeting with my dad co-workers.
Chorong: I like to travel but working as a doctor like me got no time for all that. If not busy I will work only 7 hours but if busy can up to 14-20 hours.
Onew: seriously? You must be tired.
Chorong: sometimes but I used to it so I have no problem so far. I still can manage my time go for gym, cooking, movies or shopping.
Onew: you live alone here?
Chorong: I rented a condo nearby my work place with my best friend from high school. She is intern and soon to he doctor at my hospital.
Onew: good to hear that at least you've got someone with you and you're not alone.
Chorong: yeah...
Onew: ermmm..how's you love life? Married? Single?
Chorong: (startled) owh..still single. I actually have no time to think about love, I'm a workaholic woman. My working hours not fixed and always coming home late. I prefer live my life like this and I'm happy.
Onew: I see..you're beautiful Chorong it's impossible no guy interested with you.
Chorong: hehehe..of course have but like I told you before I'm the one not interested with this kind a thing. My work is my first priority right now, love will come eventually. So, enough talking about me how about you?
Onew: almost same like you I travel a lot I mean a lot, my previous girlfriend leave me and all said the same thing.
Chorong: what they said?
Onew: I have no time with them always work and they feel lonely and so on..now I'm single.
Chorong: you like it?
Onew: you mean being a single guy? Hurmm..how can I say sometimes yes sometimes not. When i see my friends with their wife, fiancé or girlfriend I feel lonely. It's hard to find woman who is understanding with our work you know. I have everything but bad in relationship.
Chorong: I'm sure one day you will find your soulmate who will accept you weaknesses and comprehend with you work.
Onew: hopefully and like what you said earlier love will come eventually, right?
Chorong: hehehe..yes!
Onew: feels good to meet an old friends here, we should do this often I mean hangout grab some coffee or go for movies.
Chorong: why not..I'm okay with it but make sure both of us are free that time. As you know my work sometimes need me to be there immediately if got emergency and you travel here and there.
Onew: you're right, it's okay we can try. Can I get your phone number? Easy for me to contact you if I'm in town so we can go for dinner or something if you free.
Chorong: sure..
They both exchange phone number and finally went home.
Chorong's house
Naeun: hai unnie..you're home.
Chorong: yes..you're not working today?
Naeun: nope..I'm off today.
Chorong: not going anywhere?
Naeun: no,just want to rest at home. Where you going today? usually you will not stay out late like this.
Chorong: hangout with old friends.
Naeun: really? Who?
Chorong: he is from our school his name is Onew same age like me.
Naeun: Onew? you mean Lee Jin Ki from class 5C right?
Chorong: yes, you know him?
Naeun: of course I know him unnie he is quite famous in school, he is one of the member from football club back in the days. He got lot of secret admires and Namjoo is one of them hehehe..
Chorong: owhh..I didn't know that. I thought Namjoo like DO?
Naeun: It was before DO oppa confessed to her, now she's happy with him. One more thing is Onew oppa same class with Suho oppa just for your extra information.
Chorong feeling shock for awhile she forgot Suho also in class 5C last time, she don't know if Onew knew about Suho and her in a relationship before.
Chorong: Get some rest Naeun-ah I'm going to take shower if you need anything I'll be inside my room okay?
Naeun: Okay unnie..
Chorong went inside her room and hit the shower, while taking a shower her memory with Suho playing in her mind. She still remember his scent when she beside him, his lips when they kiss, his embrace when they hug each other. Sometimes she think back her decision leaving Korea for good is the best decision or maybe she make a big mistake, she shake her head and let go all the thoughts lingering in her mind. Done with shower she wear her pyjamas and make herself comfortable at the bed. She check her phone and she got text messages from unknown number.
Text messages between Chorong and..
Unknown no: Hai..are you already sleep?
Chorong: I'm sorry but who is this?
Onew: Owhh..I'm sorry I forgot to tell you. I'm Onew by the way.
Chorong: Owhh..hai..resting on my bed doing nothing.
Onew: Thank you for today I have fun spending time with you, I hope we can do it again next time when I'm here.
Chorong: Thanks to you too I get to released my stress at work.
Onew: you working tomorrow?
Chorong: yup, I'm working until 5pm. Why?
Onew: I want to ask you out for dinner, are you available at night time?
Chorong: should be no problem, what time?
Onew: 8pm at The Five Field Restaurant.
Chorong: okay..meet you there.
Onew: Okay, good night.
Chorong: good night.
The Five Field Restaurant
Onew already arrived at the restaurant and waiting for Chorong. After 10 minutes of waiting Chorong arrived with her beautiful dress.

Chorong: sorry I'm late, did you wait too long?
Onew: not really, wow you look gorgeous.
Chorong: thank you, you look good too.

Onew: thank you. So should we order now?
Chorong: sure..
It's been long time Chorong not feel happy like this, Onew make her laugh with his jokes, talked about their jobs and both having their best time together. They stay at the restaurant until dessert and finished 1 bottle of champagne. Chorong talks a lot when she drunk, Onew on the other side feel worried of her driving alone back home. He piggyback her until reaches his car and put her on the back seat. Chorong phone ringing and it was Naeun.
Phone conversation between Onew and Naeun..
Onew: hello..
Naeun: hello..unnie where are you? It's already midnight, you're not going back yet? I'm worried.
Onew: Sorry this is not Chorong, I'm Onew Chorong's friend.
Naeun: huh? Errmm...okay..where is she?
Onew: she is with me now, she drink champagne so I think she's drunk. You Chorong housemate right? Can I ask your house address? I want to send her back.
Naeun: sure..
After Naeun gave their house address Onew start his car and send Chorong back. After 30 minutes drives he finally arrived at her home. He try to wake her up but she already fall asleep. He piggyback her again and walk to the lift, inside the lift Chorong mumbling and talking about someone he knew.
Chorong: suho oppa why you hurt me..why? You know how much I love you but you hurt me..I still thinking about you everyday, I can't forget you.. I miss you oppa.. I miss you..(she cry while talking then stop and fall asleep again).
Onew heard the name Suho, his former classmate during high school. They rarely talk with each other in class, what he knows about him is he quite famous back in the day with his bad attitude and involved in basketball. Reached in front of Chorong house Onew press the doorbell and Naeun open the door.
Naeun: please come in.
Onew: thank you (he put her on the couch).
Naeun: thank you again for sending my unnie back home safely.
Onew: you're welcome. You Naeun right? Nice to meet you, I'm Onew.
Naeun: I know you are my senior in high school. Nice to meet you too.
Onew: owhh okay..this is her handbag and her car key. She left her car there, when she wake up just remind her to take the car tomorrow.
Naeun: okay..
Onew: I'll make my move now, take care of her okay. Bye..
Naeun: I will..bye..
Chorong's house
Chorong: how dare you cheat on me!!! I hate you Suho! I hate you! (Slap Suho face).
Suho: no I'm not, please listen to me.
Chorong: shut up!
Suho: I will never cheat on you, she is the who plan all this to make us fight and..
Chorong: I said shut up Suho! I don't to hear anything from you, enough!
She runway from Suho but he grab her hand and hug her.
Suho: don't do like this rong-ah, it's not my fault.
Chorong: let me go! I hate you!
She managed to escaped from him, she run and cross the road. Suho look at the right side there's one car moving in speed and will hit her in any second.
Suho: rong!! Watch out!!
Chorong turn on her right and saw one car coming in fast motion, she look at Suho and close her eyes. She can feel someone push her and next thing she knew she's lying down on side of the road. She get up and Suho lying down in the middle of the road covered with blood. The car hit Suho and drive away. She run to Suho and put his head on her lap.
Chorong: oppa! Wake up please! Wake up!
Suho: (half conscious) rong..rong-baby..
Chorong: you been hit by a car oppa! Please don't leave me. I love you.
Suho: (smile and caress her cheek) I'm sorry baby..it's not my fault. You know how much I love you rong..remember till death do us apart.
His hand fall on her lap and his eyes close tightly. Chorong try to wake him up but there is no response by Suho.
Chorong: oppa! Oppa! Wake up! Oppa! Oppa!
Naeun busy preparing breakfast heard Chorong screaming, she quickly go and sit next to her on the couch.
Naeun: unnie! Unnie! You okay? Wake up!
Chorong: suho oppa!!! (She finally woke up and hug Naeun).
Naeun: unnie you okay? You dreaming unnie.
Chorong: (she released the hug and look around. She take deep breath) owhh..sorry if I scared you.
Naeun: it's okay. How you feel? You drunk last night. Onew oppa send you back home. Don't forget to take your car back in the restaurant.
Chorong: I'm drunk? Goshhh..no wonder I feel headache.
Naeun: you scream Suho oppa name, are you dreaming just now?
Chorong: not..nothing..I want to shower first I smell like alcohol.
Naeun: okay unnie, I already make us breakfast. I wait you here and we eat together.
Chorong: okay..
She shake her head thinking back of her dream just now. She suddenly remember Onew who send her last night, she take her phone and text him.
Text messages between Chorong and Onew..
Chorong: I'm sorry about last night, I didn't realize I drink a lot. Thank you for sending me back home, I really appreciate it.
Take a shower, wearing her comfortable clothes and join Naeun for breakfast. She checked her phone and saw text messages from Onew.
Onew: no worries, drink some coffee, eat your breakfast and get rest before you go to work.
Chorong: I will and thank you again for the dinner last night. You make me happy and I got chance to release my tension from work.
Onew: my pleasure..
Finished breakfast she went in to her room lying down on her bed.
Chorong: why I dream about you? It was bad dream and..hurmm..It's been long time since I heard your voice. I miss your voice.
She finally falling asleep again..
