I woke up sweating and panting again to the same nightmare I have every night. I'm running from him, more like sprinting, just so I could get away and the farther I get the closer he gets until I wake up. I looked at the time and it said 3:15 A.M. Great now I can't sleep. Might as well go for a walk now that I'm wide awake.

I'm walking through the middle of the woods. It's actually peaceful at night, well at least more peaceful than they make it seem like in the movies. As I start to think of all the scary movies I've seen where the girls gets kidnapped and killed I stop paying attention and trip over a branch and hit my head on a rock.
"OW!! Seriously??"
I would trip and hit my head being as clumsy as I am. Then I start to feel a warm liquid coming from my head. Please, please, don't be blood. That's all I need. As I reached up and touched my head I touched the liquid and brought my finger down so I could see the liquid. Wow of course, what other kind of liquid would be on my forehead. As I get up I feel dizzy and fall down again. Wow, what am I going to do now? I didn't bring my phone.
As soon as I thought it I heard an angelic voice say,"Are you okay? Need help?"
My first response was,"Am I dead?"
The voice chuckled. I looked up and saw a man with the most beautiful green eyes I've ever seen.
I stared dreamingly into them for a while until the man cleared his throat and said "Ma'am?"
"Oh yeah right sorry. I umm well I'm just really clumsy. I guess a late night stroll by myself wasn't the smartest."
He just chuckled. I couldn't help but blush. The stranger handed me his hand and I took it.
"Thanks Mr.....?"
"Derek, Derek Hale."
What a perfect name, I thought.
"Thanks Derek." I smiled.
Than I realized I was still holding his hand,"Oh sorry."
"That's okay." The silence wasn't awkward, it was actually really nice until I realized it was getting later and I was going to go to the market tomorrow to stock up on food.
"Well thanks Derek. I really should get going though before it gets later."
"You mean earlier?", he said and smiled the most beautiful smile I have and will ever see.
"Oh yeah, umm I guess your right." I couldn't help but smile back.
"Do you need a ride? You said you walked and it's getting late......"
I couldn't help but laugh,"You mean early? Yes I would love a ride."
