It was a tall blonde boy with green/blue eyes. I knew who it was straight away. Amanda ran straight over, hugged him and said,
"James! I've missed you so much"
I was so confused but overwhelmed because I was stood in front of 1/4 of the vamps. I wasn't a huge fan but I didn't hate them either, they were alright, I guess. Amanda gestured for me to come in so I stepped inside. It was a quite casual apartment. It had 3 black sofas a grey rug, a 50" tv and a lot of dvds. I took a seat on the sofa looking around. This place looked pretty cool actually. James and Amanda talked for a couple of minutes then came and joined me on the sofa.
"Daisy, this is james, my cousin and James this is Daisy, my bestfriend" Amanda introduced.
"Hey Daisy" James said giving me a friendly smile. I smiled back and he said,
"Oh I remember you talking about her actually"
I raised my eyebrow and they both laughed. Amanda looked at me then at James and said,
"Weren't I right about her suiting Brad?"
"What?" I sounded quite rude but Amanda smirked and said,
"I kinda told James that you and Brad would suit, but I'm so right, use do!"
I started to blush. I mean Brads hot and probably had a beautiful girlfriend so I didn't say anything.
|| 20 MINUTES LATER ||
I was lay on the double bed in my yet to be new room when Amanda came barging in.
"So I've talked to James" She said as she sat at the edge of the bed.
"And?" I said sitting up and looking at her.
"He said...we could move in! He called the boys and they said yes oh and also James said to them that your hot"
A huge grin spread across my face but vanished after I heard the last part. What if they see me and think I'm ugly? And they make fun of me? What if they don't like me? My thinking time was soon cut as Amanda's hand was now waving in front of my eyes.
"Earth to Daisy"
"Oh sorry, I was just thinking but that's great! We'll go get our stuff soon" I was so happy. I asked Amanda about the whole James cousin stuff and she explained about how James' family moved away when they were 13 they were basically her support to get through her parents death. From what I gather they pretty close.
We told James that we were going to get our stuff and that we'd be back in about 2 hours then said goodbye as we shut the door. We walked down the corridor, pressing the lift button and waiting for it.
"James is really kind" I said looking at the lift.
"I know, he is and always will be!" She replied looking at me with a smile.
The lift came and we stepped in. We made our way out of the Beddingley Apartments and we were now sat in my car.
"I can't believe we've finally got somewhere to live" I said with a sigh of relief.
"With my cousin!" She said, I could see how happy she was in her eyes.
|| BACK AT HOME ||
I came into my house to see my mum and Jack nowhere to be seen. I made my way upstairs and checked her room and they were asleep so I left them. I said I'd be at Amanda's for 5:30, so we had around an hour. I flung my bag onto my bed and rushed to the wardrobe pulling out my black and white spotted suitcase and my a plain pink one. I opened them both up and lay them out onto my bed. I started to throw every single piece of clothing into the 2 suitcases. When I had finished I zipped them up.
"Daisy, is that you?" I heard my mum shout, she sounded tired.
"Yeah mum its me" I replied as she was now stood in my bedroom.
"What's.. all this?" She asked looking confused.
"Well you wouldn't believe what's happened" I grinned but she turned around and started making her way to the stairs, then shouted.
"I need a coffee, come down and tell me"
I grabbed my 2 suitcases, my bag and made my way down the stairs.
|| 10 MINUTES LATER ||
"That's great honey!" my mum said smiling as she sipped her coffee. We were both sat face to face in the kitchen. I explained about the Amanda and James cousin thing.
"But Dais, Don't forget your going to be living with 4 boys" She raised her eyebrow.
Well she suddenly changed her tune,
"Mum, I'm 18 years old for goodness sake! I'm hardly going to jump into bed with any of them. There all responsible anyway" I kind of lied about the whole there all responsible part because I haven't even met them all.
"That curly-haired one, what's his name?" She asked.
"Brad" I replied.
"He seems like a ladies man, watch out for him" She said it so seriously it made me laugh.
"I will mum, you don't have to worry" I said still laughing.
I told my mum that I'd be at Amanda's for 5:30 and since it was 5:00 I decided to go. My mum asked me to call her when I can and to visit at least once a week. I nodded my head and kissed her and a sleepy Jack on their cheek and I was making my way to the car.
|| 30 MINUTES LATER ||
We were here. I couldn't believe that we had found such a perfect place. We dragged our suitcases up the steps and pushed open the glass doors. The receptionist gave us a friendly smile as we passed.
- DING -
The lift doors opened revealing the long corridor again. We pulled our suitcases until we were outside the door. This time Amanda didn't hesitate to knock on. We heard the locks clamber again this time as the door opened it revealed a girl with cheap make-up clamped onto her face. She was wearing a short red cheap dress and some big black heels. She was chewing gum with attitude as she looked us up and down.
"What are you?" She asked rudely staring at me and Amanda.
"Excuse me?" Amanda said straight back.
"I said what are you?" This time James was stood behind her.
"Amanda, Daisy come in!" he said coming out to help us with our suitcases. Me and Amanda both brushed past this slut. We looked around and saw Tristan texting, Connor laying down watching telly and Brad was already looking at us.
James said he'd take the suitcases to our room.
"Hi, I'm Tristan but you can call me Tris. This is Brad, Connor and Erin" He said pointing to each person. The bitch was called Erin. Bitch suited her better. Everyone gave us a friendly smile and said hey apart from the bitch. She must of been Brad's girlfriend or something because she was sat on his knee and he had his hands around her waist.
"Your suitcases are now in you rooms. Amanda yours is the second one on the left and Daisy yours is next to Brad's and Connor's facing Amanda's" He said as he returned.
"What? Hers is next to Brad's, I don't think so!" She said pointing at me in disgust.
"Were not all slutty bitches like you so I wont be sneaking into his room at night" I said with a sarcastic smile. Everyone burst into laughs. Even Brad tried to hide it in.
"Who do you think your talking to you rat. Look at your ugly little face ha, you'd never be a mode-" She was cut off by Brad.
"Babe, you've got a photo shoot haven't you?"
"Yes and that little dirt bag is lucky I have" She said then she kissed Brad and left.
I was so tempted to chase after her and pull her cheap extensions but that wouldn't be a good first impression.
"That was such a good come back" Connor laughed looking at me.
Everyone started laughing again, I went bright red and said,
"Use must think I'm horrible, sorry"
"Its fine" Tristan laughed.
"Yeah she's a bitch we all know that" Connor said.
"Well apart from" James said rolling his eyes at Brad.
Brad looked. He was so gorgeous. Snap out of it Daisy, he's got a girlfriend. A slutty, ugly, cheap bitch of a girlfriend.
"I don't know what you see in her man" Tristan said,
Brad just gave him a shut up look and went to his room. Me, Amanda, Connor, James and Tristan were sat round the kitchen table eating pizza. Brad said he wasn't hungry so we left him in his room.
"Is Brad pissed because of what I said to Erin?" I asked sipping my coke.
"No, no not at all" James said shaking his head.
"He just always goes in a mood when someone slags Erin off" Connor said picking up a slice of pizza.
I nodded and carried on eating.
"I wouldn't mind but he could get way better!" Tristan said rolling his eyes.
"Like you Daisy" Amanda said winking.
Has she seriously just said that. I blanked out before remembering what she just said.
"Shut up Amanda. I'm sure he's happy with Erin" I said nudging her.
|| 30 MINUTES LATER ||
Everyone except Brad was sat watching the hunger games. I checked my phone, it was 9pm. I was exhausted so I told everyone I was going to bed. I walked past Brad's door and it was open. He was playing the guitar. He looked at me and smiled so I smiled back. I didn't know what to do after so I just carried on walking.
"Daisy" I heard from Brad's room.
I started walking backwards until I came to Brad room.
"Yeah?" I replied smiling.
"Come in" He said putting his guitar down.
"Erin would kill me" I replied holding my hands up in surrender.
He chuckled then said.
"I'm sure she wouldn't"
I walked into his room and he told me to close the door. I didn't blame him since the others were being really loud. He patted a space next to him on the bed so I walked over and sat down looking at the floor. I was so nervous. I had butterflies in my stomach and I didn't know why.
"I haven't really spoke to you have I?" He said.
I looked up as him and he put his hand through his hair. God he was gorgeous.
"Nope, I'm sorry if I upset you before, because of you know...what I said to um Erin" His eyes were beautiful. Why was he with that bitch. He deserves the world.
"Of course you didn't upset me" He said with a little laugh.
We were staring into each others eyes. He was perfect.
"Can I ask you a question?" I said breaking the silence.
"Go ahead" He smiled.
"Well um without sounding rude but why are you with Erin?" I cant believe I just said that. Shit.
He went silent and looked at the floor expressionless. After a few moments he looked back up at me and said.
"I don't know, to be honest I don't even think I love her"
I felt so sorry for him. He looked like he was going to cry. I made a risky move and hugged him. What was I thinking? But if you so the way he looked you would to. Surprisingly he hugged me back. Really tight. It was stopped by the door flying open.
"Brad have you got a spare pair of shorts for Aman-"
We both turned to look at Tristan and he was smiling. Brad smiled and pointed to his computer.
"They're over there"
Tristan awkwardly made his way over to them. I yawned and stood up.
"I'm going to bed guys, night and tell the others I said night Tristan"
"Ok and Call me Tris" He smiled before walking out again.
"Do you think he'll tell the others" I said turning to Brad.
"Yeah but who cares and thank you for being here for me" He smiled then surprisingly pulled me into another hug.
"Good night" he whispered down my ear. We pulled away as I said.
"Good Night"
I closed Brad door behind me. My legs felt like Jelly. I just hugged Brad Simpson. I lay in bed before falling asleep almost instantly. I was happy.
