You walked down the peaceful lawn in front of Hogwarts Castle and towards the Black Lake. You liked to sit here and think, since it was so isolated and peaceful. You didn't really like talking to people, so you ended up coming here quite often.
When the sun started going down, you decided that you should be heading back. You stood up, but just as you turned around you bumped into someone.
"I-I'm s-sorry." You mumbled and tried to leave but the person put their arm out to stop you.
"No problem. I wanted to talk to you." You looked up and saw that it was Seamus Finnigan.
You froze. No one knew this, but you had always had a secret crush on him, even though you two never really saw each other. He was Gryffindor and you were Hufflepuff, so you usually went unnoticed. Wait, he wanted to talk to you?? You slowly sat back down and he sat next to you. It was silent for a while.
"W-what d-did you want to t-talk to me about?" You asked him nervously. You didn't really talk to people, and it really didn't help that this was your crush.
"Oh, I just wanted to talk to you. You seem like a nice person." He smiled at you.
"Um, thank you...?" You felt really awkward at the moment. He chuckled a little.
"I've been wanting to tell you something for a while now, but I never got the chance." He was being completely serious now. "But now that I'm actually trying to tell you, I think I have a better idea." He said with a little smirk on his face.
"What do you-" you were cut off when his lips met yours.
You tensed up a bit-- this was your first kiss-- but you relaxed and gave in. It was slow and sweet, and you enjoyed every second of it. When you two parted, you couldn't stop smiling. Seamus was the first to speak.
"(Y/n), will you be my girlfriend?" He took your hands in his and looked into your eyes.
You were too surprised to respond, so you just nodded and you both smiled widely.
