Jenna's POV

I had convinced myself that tonight was the night I was going to fully come out of my shell for the church, opening up like I did for the handful of people I held close to me. Tatum stood by my side at the back of the small stage we all spoke upon, watching the timer on the screen come up as the doors opened, revealing the mob of kids I had quickly gotten used to. It was so strange to actually drive Tyler's car to the church instead of him taking me, I hadn't driven in years, yet it finally dawned on me that he had left his car behind one day I was getting ready for work. I felt like I didn't belong in the drivers seat, the pattern of his existence being changed suddenly. I was now counted as one of the leaders, not just the girl that Tyler brought a long, and it was pretty nice.

I was by far the most nervous one in the room, and probably the most tired, Tatum rubbing my back and whispering encouraging words to me before going on. She definitely made me smile, she was like the best friend I dreamed of having in high school. As the numbers counted down to zero, Tatum jumped out enthusiastically, myself going along after her as the crowd welcomed us with many cheers. I couldn't help but hang my mouth open, seeing all these kids look up at me the way they were was simply amazing.

"Hello everybody! My name is Tatum and I am joined by my best friend, Jenna!" She announced, dramatically revealing me with her arm like I was a part of a magic show. That was the first time she actually titled me as her best friend, and all I could feel was my stomach flipping in excitement. I didn't contain the smile that was pushing through, my hand waving at everyone who was looking back at me.

"Hi! I'm Jenna and Tyler brought me here a few months ago after I moved to Ohio, I hope you guys don't mind we're taking the boys places while they're off on tour?" I spoke, the mic leaning against my chin comfortably as I heard my voice echo strangely through the speakers.

"Isn't Tyler your boyfriend?" A voice called out from the darkness in the back, myself nervously giggling as I tried to find the source

"Ha... Yeah, He is" I breathed out, my smile never leaving my face. Whenever I heard any sort of aspect of Tyler and I being together, it only caused me to blush uncontrollably and let the butterflies in my stomach take over.

Tatum cut the slight awkwardness we held with starting to explain the game we were going to play before the worship band came out. Unfortunately, Most band sets were going to be acoustic, mostly due to Josh not being there to destroy the drums. I didn't exactly want the songs to be calming, as I already felt like I could fall asleep at any moment. I was still getting more exhausted day by day, so much that it has started to become a concern. Every afternoon after work, I wold nap for a few hours, only getting up to eat and get ready before going to bed again. I slept so much, only for me to be more tired than I was the day before.

"Okay, so Jenna, do you want to pick some kids out from the crowd?" Tatum said, my head nodding as I began walking down the small steps. I gazed around the chairs until I found a small girl that caught my eye, her hand raised so far up, it'd probably fall off if it could.

As I began to walk over to her row, I felt a sharp pain hit in my abdomen, my hand automatically clenching onto my shirt. Tatum noticed that I had stopped in my tracks, knowing something was wrong, she ran down to meet me. The pain hit again, and again, and again, as if something was stabbing into me from inside, I couldn't help but drop the microphone as my body tried to curl up in itself. I had never felt something like that, the feeling literally worse than any sort of period cramps I had experienced.

"Jenna! What's going on? Can we get someone else down here please!" Tatum called out, her arms wrapping around me as my knees hit the floor. The fatigue my body held didn't help in any way, my eyes dropping as my body gave up consciousness. All I remember after that was the screams of the ministry, Tatum's voice, and someone struggling to lift me up

Tyler's POV

I knew tonight was the night Jenna was taking my place for the pre-show, I promised to only call her at 10:30pm, when she would definitely be home. Josh, I and the rest of the crew were staying in a hotel in New York for the night before our show as we had a day off, mostly just recovering from the show we had the night before. I had set my phone on silent before going to play video games with everyone, mostly just passing time so I could hear Jenna's voice once more.

I was in the middle of crushing Mark when Josh came out with my phone after he got up to get some water, his face full of worry. I immediately paused the game, dropping the controller on the coffee table.

"What is it?" I asked, Josh speechless as he passed me my phone, displaying the amount of notifications I had missed. It was only 9, there was no way Jenna was finished with packing up.

19 missed calls from Tatum

13 missed calls from Zack

Hey Ty, please call Tatum as soon as you can, it's Jenna - Zack

Hey, Don't want to freak you out but Jenna passed out at youth tonight, she's in the hospital now, can you please call me back asap - Tatum

Hey man, Tatum's freaking out, please call her back - Zack

Tyler I really need you to pick up - Tatum

As soon as my eyes scanned the text messages, my heart dropped to my stomach, each and every cell of my body freaking out as I quickly pressed on Tatum's number. My phone rang couple times before Tatum's familiar voice picked up, her breath heavy as she tried to speak

"What happened?" I said sternly, hearing a noticeable gulp come from the speaker

"I-I don't know Ty, she was fine and then she just started collapsing and eventually fell unconscious, I haven't heard anything from the doctors yet but I'm sitting with her no-" She was cut off by a voice in the background, the words hard to make out. I sat waiting impatiently, everyone sitting around me staring at me waiting for explanation.

"Tyler" Jenna's voice appeared on the other line, a breath I was holding burst out, my eyes watering up.

"Bella, what's going on?" My voice rushed

"I'm okay Tyler, It's probably just stress, please don't worry" her calming yet tiresome voice tried to reassure

"No you're obviously not okay Jen, I'm coming back home, I'm going to get the closest plane to be with you"

"Don't you dare" Jenna replied immediately, "If you do, I'm burning your ukulele" Her voice was strangely sincere, not even myself could laugh at a time like this.

"You passed out! what happened Jenna!" I cried, standing up as I paced the small hotel room we shared

"I've been really tired lately, I just must've lacked something in my system" she mumbled,  sighing heavily

"You're a terrible liar"

"Just promise me you won't drop everything and come back home, You must stay on tour and I promise to explain everything later. Please, just trust me" Her sweet voice pleaded, I could just picture her saddened face from the sound of her tone

"...Okay"

A/N

ok wot

haha theres a reason to all this okay i promise

so today I kept getting stupid messages from this girl I know through twenty one pilots and like I've never really spoken to her but for some reason she chose to keep DMing me on twitter. she kept being smart with me and saying I LOVE TRUMP and just really stupid stuff. I kind of just ignored it seeing how stupid it was. but I tweeted something about how if someone openly says they're triggered by something, you don't make fun of them or belittle them, AND DO YOU KNOW WHAT SHE DID, SHE AND HER FRIEND (WHO BOTH DON'T EVEN FOLLOW ME SO THEY WOULD'VE LOOKED THROUGH MY PROFILE TO FIND SOMETHING THEY COULD MESS WITH ME) STARTED JOKING AROUND BEING LIKE OH THIS TRIGGERS ME OH THE WORD TRIGGERED TRIGGERS ME BLAH BLAH BLAH WHERES THE TRIGGER WARNING AND I FRIKEN SENT SCREENSHOTS TO MY FRIENDS AND BLESS KIRRA COS SHE LITERALLY DRAGGED HER DOWN SO HARD THE GIRL ENDED UP APOLOGISING TO ME HAHAHA

and I'm not really the one to get offended or upset from stupid things, it mostly just angered me that they could be so light hearted. and I was angry that I was specifically being targeted when I didn't do anything. I ended up replying with a massive paragraph and she kept apologising but like nah nah you can't get out of that easy. And also, she pushed in to the line at our concert this year so both me and kirra don't like her at alllll

but yeah, that was interesting

oh and also Josh Dun was on my local radio station tonight, he was so cute, add my snapchat to see my stupid reactions lmao - Viella_Wattpad
