hoseok was holding your hand as the both of you were walking along the sidewalk, your feet perfectly in sync with each other each step of the way.

the sun was out, shining beautifully on your bodies. it was blissful, it felt like heaven.

your intertwined hands with the ones you loved, you cherished, that waking breathing moment was something you'll never forget. it was too good, too great.

you never wanted it to end.

"hey, (your name)," hoseok called, stopping the both of you.

you and hoseok stood there, the autumn leaves creating crunching sounds and the various shades of orange and red illuminating around the both of you.

"what is it, hobi?"

hoseok only gulped, his eyes looking at yours very lovingly. he was nervous, even though he knew you two were young, and first love was a rather stupid thing to believe in at your age, he didn't care.

"i..i know i made that promise about us staying together." hoseok gulped, his eyes looking at the ground.

you were taken back by the words he was saying, "what are you trying to say?"

hoseok's eyes looked directly at yours, and this was the most serious you've ever seen of him. his lips were trembling, his hands were shaking as they held yours.

"what?" you said a bit more worriedly, not fully understanding what was happening.

"the promise we made," hoseok repeated, "i don't know if i'll be able to keep it."

"hoseok-"

"(your name), listen to me." hoseok's hand gently cupped your face, ever so gently as if you were fine china. he hated this. he hated having to say these words to you, even if they hurt you. "i want you to know that this wasn't your fault, and i know something bad is going to happen to me-"

"hoseok, stop this-"

"(your name)," hoseok kissed your lips lightly, making your heart flutter and your stomach want to burst.

it was so loving, and filled with so many meanings and emotions that you couldn't say. what you can't say.

"i love you."

hoseok walked away from you, and you called out his names numerous times. the only sight you saw before you woke up, was the sad smile on hoseok's face before everything faded to black.

--

"yah, (your name)!"

your eyes were fluttering open, and your eyes also tried to adjust to your surroundings. after your eyes had adjusted, you were met with your friends looking at you concernedly.

"hey, are you okay?" taehyung tugged on your arm, leaning closer to your face.

"oh, uh-" you coughed, "i'm fine."

"she was probably day dreaming." jungkook laughed, drinking the small carton of milk on the lunch table.

"ooh, day dreaming?" taehyung smirked, poking your cheek, "about what? or rather.."

jungkook smirked wiggling his dark eyebrows, "who?"

your cheeks flushed as you remembered who the dream was about, what was even more embarrassing was the fact that hoseok was looking directly at you as he was also sitting in the same table as you.

"yeah, what was it about?" hoseok smiled.

why the hell do i keep dreaming about hobi? you scolded yourself in your mind, trying to restrict your self from yelling about how weird you were in person.

"ah, she was probably day dreaming about me."

everyone's head at the table turned to face jimin, looking smug and hot in his school uniform. of course still liking him, you thought he looked really good looking in it. it made him look even more attractive.

after all, what woman would resist a man in a suit?

"oh, in your dreams, pabo." taehyung defensively wrapped his arm around you, giving jimin a glare. "she rejected you, remember?"

"i know," jimin took a seat right next to jungkook, giving no attention to jungkook's obviously pissed off face as the tall boy drank his milk. "but that doesn't mean i have to stop trying."

your heart at that very moment started to beat. jimin was still content on dating you, even if you told him that it would lead to trouble.

hoseok at the table was jealous, and it was written all over his face. but of course since you two were only friends, he couldn't give off that vibe in front of you.

"um, excuse you?" taehyung gave jimin a stank face, "no means no."

"i didn't hear a 'no, stop trying' from (your name), now did i?" jimin smirked, and pushed his blonde hair back. making you a total mess in your seat.

"pssh, i'd like to see you try and win me over." you smirked, trying to seem fine with the issue. you were kinda tired of feeling vulnerable, that, and you wanted to try and distract your mind from the dream about hoseok.

it was a chilling dream though, it was rather negative and it gave you chills.

as jimin laughed at you trying to be smug, you couldn't help but look at hoseok who's eyes was wandering about. he was sitting next to taehyung, being in between him and jungkook.

your eyes couldn't leave him, you were too fixated on what on earth that dream meant. or why you've been dreaming about him twice now.

hoseok was eating his food, talking to jungkook as jimin was talking to taehyung.

hoseok was laughing at the jokes jungkook made, which made jimin ticked but he tried to play it cool.

why on earth do i keep thinking about you, jung hoseok? you asked in your mind.

you kept staring at hoseok, there was something about him that made you curious. all though it was complete bull to think that hoseok had some sort of relation to you, you still couldn't help but wonder.

unaware of your gaze on the boy, someone else noticed your nonstop staring at hoseok.

was it taehyung? no.

was it your crush, jimin? no, not this time.

it was jungkook. he noticed that as hoseok was talking to him laughing, you wouldn't stop staring at hoseok. this only made jungkook somewhat relieved but nervous at the same time.

because he knew something you didn't. but amongst all of the drama he and jimin had yesterday, jungkook knew what he had to do.

he needed to talk to you.

--

"please talk to me and tell me." seokjin begged, standing next to namjoon who was getting a cup of coffee from the teacher's lounge.

namjoon only sighed and rubbed his forehead, "you ask me everytime we're in here together."

"that's because i need to be updated!" seokjin whined, his hands rubbing his temples trying to ease his stress.

"careful, you'll get premature wrinkles." yoongi smirked, walking in. "and we all know hell will break loose if that happens."

namjoon couldn't help but chuckle at yoongi's humor as the bleach blonde sat on the chairs on one of the tables in the lounge. the blonde propped his feet onto the small table, making seokjin look at him in disgust as he smacked his legs off the table.

"yoongi, everyone in here would appreciate it if you kept your dirty feet off the table." seokjin sat on the chair across from him.

"you mean you would appreciate it." yoongi corrected, letting his feet meet the ground as he leaned his elbows on the table instead.

seokjin only flared his nostrils, trying not to explode like a little girl again.

namjoon leaned his body against the counter, enjoying the wonderful cup of coffee he had just made. "so seokjin,"

the handsome teacher's face met with namjoon's, "yes?"

"how much money exactly does yoongi owe you now?"

"shit." yoongi cursed, remembering this bet that they made that wasn't clearly established. which only made yoongi scream as he covered his face, realizing what he had just said.

seokjin grinned happily, saying in a mocking tone as he flipped a page in his magazine, "that would be thirteen dollars as of now."

namjoon laughed at the defeated yoongi, "i don't owe you sh-"

"don't." namjoon glared. "don't say it."

"no," seokjin urged, "say it. say it! i know you wanna say it, yoongay."

that was it. that was all it took to trigger the small blonde librarian, yoongi swiftly got up from his seat and grabbed the good looking teacher by the collar of his shirt.

"i will not hesitate to hurt you, pretty boy!" yoongi growled, shaking seokjin back and forth in his seat, giving seokjin a headache as yoongi shook him without even caring.

the only sound that could be heard in the teacher's lounge was seokjin's whining as yoongi repeatedly shook him back and forth, causing a majorly distressed namjoon whom only sipped his cup of coffee.

"knock it off, you two!" namjoon finally snapped, pushing the two away from each other. since namjoon had such ungodly strength, the two were off of each other instantly.

seokjin breathed inhaled and exhaled, fixing his thin circle rimmed glasses and pink tie. he rubbed his collarbone and made a menacing glare at the librarian, "aish! you gave me a major headache you little shit!"

covering his own mouth, seokjin realized what word had just came out of his food hole.

yoongi who noticed, which seokjin didn't want to notice, but since he covered his mouth and the word floated in the room like a red balloon, yoongi only slammed his hand onto the table and grinned.

"aha!" yoongi threw his fists in the air, "you owe me a dollar!"

namjoon stood in disbelief. he couldn't believe what he had just witnessed, his eyes glanced over at the astonished parenting teacher. who's soul was practically getting drained out of him.

but after the short recovery, seokjin only coughed and sat in a very petite manner. he fixed his hair, and adjusted his glasses. "i'm going to pretend that didn't happen."

"yeah, but you still owe me a dollar now."

"well you owe me fourteen so."

"fourteen? i didn't even say the word!"

"it's still fourteen, whether you like it or not. you were going to say the word anyways."

yoongi quickly looked at namjoon, trying to reason with the tall blonde who only shrugged and smiled bitterly at the man, "he's right you know."

yoongi groaned and sat back in his seat, his back slumping against the soft chair in the lounge. seokjin, feeling pleased by the defeat of the angry teacher, he only put on a smile and a smug look in his eyes.

"as i was saying, before i was attacked by a land turtle," seokjin smirked at the annoyed yoongi, "have you been seeing anything going on with hoseok and (your name)?"

namjoon sighed in defeat, he couldn't stop seokjin from being his gossipy and snitch full self. namjoon stood there, thinking about the recent happenings going on between you and your friend.

"well?" seokjin asked.

"the only thing i've noticed," namjoon took a pause as he tried to register the moments between you and hoseok, "is that they're much much closer than before."

"ah, yes!" seokjin cheered, looking pleased by the information.

"but," namjoon stopped seokjin's cheering and pointed a finger up for the emphasis of the pause.

"i know there's bad vibes going around with those friends of her's."

"jungkook, jimin, and taehyung?" yoongi asked, suddenly becoming interested in this gossip fest held in the small room.

namjoon nodded, "well, more of jimin and jungkook."

seokjin crossed his arms, "are you sure you're right about that?"

"seokjin," yoongi called, looking at him as if he was the stupidest person he's ever met, "when has namjoon ever been wrong about anything?"

seokjin scratched his head, "okay, yeah, you're right."

namjoon grinned and acknowledged the agreement that the other two teachers had on him.

the teacher's lounge was now quiet as the bell ending the lunch rang, which meant that they had to go back to their classes and resume the regular bell schedule. which meant that after your lunch period, you would have parenting class next.

which meant another hour and forty minutes of seokjin watching you and hoseok like his favorite one true pairing.
