He done all his paperwork and giving out his best presentation in front of CEO of his company he work now, hopefully will satisfied his big boss and choose him as a leader to build the biggest hospital in seoul. His finger cross and pray that he will be given a chance to be apart of the project. He is non other than Kim Junmyeon or known as Suho among his school friends long time ago. He working as an engineer in one of a well known company in seoul. Suho text his best friends since high school meet up for lunch time at usual place, he left his office and straight go to cafe and wait for them.
STARBUCKS CAFE
He the first one to arrived, order his favorite drink hot caramel latte and wait for his friends to come. While waiting his mind drift away thinking back of someone who change his life totally into a good and better person, until today he still remember her promise, close his broken heart and wait for her to comeback. He kept his love for her..only for her..its been awhile after the last time he saw her beautiful smile, cute laugh, warm hug, her passionate kiss and all their memories together. His love towards her still the same and never faded away. IF YOU could give me time to explain i will fight harder..IF YOU give me the chance to get you back i will not let you go and given up..IF YOU don't let you ego conquer your mind i will not just standing and watch you slip away from me..IF YOU..
Baekhyun and chanyeol arrive at the same time and saw suho sitting alone and waiting for them inside the cafe. They enter the cafe and walk to suho, both of them standing in front of him but suho did not notice because of his mind in somewhere else.
Baekhyun: hyung, are you okay? You seem lost and thinking about something.
Chanyeol: we've been standing here for almost 10 minutes and you not reply our greeting to you.
Suho: sorry boys, i didn't realize it just now. Please have a seat and order your drink.
Chanyeol walk to the counter and order iced americano for him and iced mocha latte for baekhyun.
Chanyeol: hyung, can i ask you something?
Suho: yeah..what is it?
Chanyeol: hyung, are you thinking about someone that i may know? Perhaps maybe my..my sister? Sometimes i notice in many occasion that your mind is drifting apart, its like your body is here but your mind at somewhere else. Its been awhile since the last time...
Suho: stop it chan..! Jebal..what are you talking about? I'm not thinking of anyone right now, all in my mind is work and nothing else. I don't have time being in a relationship, you got me!!! (Feeling angry to chanyeol while explaining).
Baekhyun: yahh..both of you cut it off no need to fight other peoples watching us..come on guys.
Suho: (take a deep breath and control his anger) sorry chan, i didn't mean to yell at you.
Chanyeol: its ok hyung, i understand.
Baekhyun: guys i've got something to tell you. Ermm..i..i..i propose bomi 2 days ago and she said YES..!!!
Suho & chanyeol: daebak..!!! Congratulation..!!! (They did a group hug)
Chanyeol: i knew it..! Since high school you and bomi will end up together. Yah.. I'm so happy for both of you, FINALLY. Hyung, welcome to the club!
On the other side suho of course happy for baekhyun who at last propose to Yoon Bomi his long time girlfriend, but feel lonely and hopeless at the same time because as they know chanyeol now married to Jung Eunji 3 years ago, left him alone single and available. He still felt guilty towards chanyeol and eunji because not attending their weeding day due to his final year exam is on the same date as the wedding day ceremony.
Baekhyun: me and bomi already set the wedding date on 24 December 2016 and the reason we choose on christmas eve is we can reunite with our high school friends and celebrate my wedding day plus christmas day up until new year celebration. Its been long time we left the school and i miss them so much, i think this is the perfect timing for us to gather around like the old days. Both of us will personally invite all of them and hopefully everybody will attend my wedding day and the high school reunion and of course i want chanyeol and suho hyung together with DO, kai n sehun become my best man on my wedding day..!
Chanyeol looks exited and happy with baekhyun plan but not suho. He feel nervous and his both palms sweating out of sudden. His heart start to tremble.
Suho: is this meaning that i'm gonna see her again after so long..God help me..i'm not ready.. (Talking to himself).
LONDON, ENGLAND 2016
She sleeping in the small room called on call room due to feeling tired of working long hours. She awakened by the sound of her phone ringing, time show 4am and she rushed out from the room and went to emergency department. She is Dr. Park Chorong arrived at the red zone area and saw her patient lying down on the stretcher, his patient not breathing and turn into blue color. The nurse on duty call her to intubate patient due to his respiratory tract already swollen and blocked because of severe allergic reaction. She quickly wear glove and start to intubate the patient, within 2 minutes she successfully put the tube in and connect it with the ventilator machine so that the patient can get enough oxygen coming through his lungs. She administered anti allergic medication via iv cannula and monitor patient's vital sign until stable. After 1 hour monitor, she go to the nurses counter and write a report.
Dr. Park Chorong: maria, i already written my report here so keep on close monitoring for this patient, take blood sample send it to lab, do ECG test and call me once you got the lab and ECG result. Once his vital sign fully stable you can transfer patient to male medical ward and i will come and review patient in ward. I will inform his family members his condition, thank you.
Nurse Maria: noted Dr. Park, you look tired i can see your eye bag obviously. I will take care this patient, you can go grab a cup of hot black coffee in the staff pantry. Anything i will let you know okay.
Dr. Park Chorong: (smile to the nurse while massaging her shoulder) working more than 14 hours plus i'm on call doctor for today so that's why i'm bit tired and not enough sleep. Anyway thank you for your concern maria.
She went to staff pantry and make herself a cup of hot black coffee and resting on the sofa. Chorong finally off duty at 7am, pack her belongings and drive back home. After reach home, she take a quick shower and off to sleep.
Naeun: (knock on chorong's door) unnie-ahh wake up its 1pm already, i want to go to work now so don't forget to eat your lunch since you not eating from breakfast till now.
Chorong: (half awake) alright, drive carefully naeun-ah, bye..see you.
Chorong and naeun lived together in london, they rent an apartment 30 minutes drive from their house to hospital. Naeun is in her final year as an intern doctor supervised under chorong. They both attend the same high school and naeun is her junior and one of her closest friend in high school. Chorong check her phone and received few text messages from her friends, colleagues and one of them is from her best friends from high school Yoon Bomi.

Bomi: chorong unnieeeee..!!!🙋🏻
Chorong: why sound so happy? Anything happen to you?🤔
Bomi: baek oppa propose me and i said yes..! Finally we are getting married unnie..! I'm so happy..😚
Chorong: seriously? Congrats bbom-ahh..i'm happy for you..👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Bomi: i don't want any wedding gift from you unnie, i just want you to come, attend my wedding and be my bridesmaid. Wedding date is on 24 December 2016 and jeballl request your leave until january at least for 2 weeks, i miss you so much unnie..😢😢😢 last time we meet at eunji and chanyeol oppa's wedding which is 3 years ago..😔
Chorong: i try bbom-ah but i'm not promise i can come okay 😕
Bomi: we will wait for you unnie..bye..
Next day..
She woke up early and hit the gym, that is her normal routine when she is on day off. Back from gym she shower and make breakfast for her and naeun. She's eating while thinking of conversation between her and bomi yesterday. Naeun back from hospital and saw her unnie in deep thoughts and plying with her food using a fork.
Naeun: unnie..i'm home, so tired and busy with all the emergency cases last night (sit next to chorong).
Chorong: naeun-ah, bomi text me last night, she invite me to attend her wedding and become her bridesmaid.
Naeun: yes2..! She also text me last night and invite to her wedding. Bomi unnie said she wants all 5 of us to attend and be her bridesmaid. I'm so happy for them. (She look at chorong who is silent) unnie, are you okay? You seems not happy and worried.
Chorong: of course i'm happy for them especially to bomi she is my best friend. Its just that i'm worried not able to attend her wedding which is happen on month of christmas. Usually my colleagues will apply leave early for christmas holiday and our hospital not enough doctors to cover. I don't think i can make it naeun-ah.
Naeun: bomi unnie must be feeling upset to you unnie or else is it because you know s...u..h..o oppa will..ermm will attend the wedding as well? (She know his name too sensitive for chorong to handle that's why she ready if chorong getting angry with her).
Chorong: (taken aback with naeun bold action and maintain her poker face) naeun-ahh..
Naeun: (hold chorong hands) unnie, i'm sorry for asking such a stupid question.
Chorong: its ok, eat your breakfast.
Naeun: ne..
Naeun remind her back of his past, mostly during their high school days with her best friends and him. Lots of bittersweet memories lingering inside her mind. Sometimes she still thinking about him when she's alone and remember how their first time meet, fight, become friend, falling in love, surprises, kisses, hugs, make a promise and breaking apart..she still clearly remember the last time they have a big fight that ended their relationship. He hurt her so much, it was unbearable pain even cant be heal by a strongest painkiller like morphine. Chorong try to move on but sometimes hate herself because deep inside her heart she still in love with this boy who love and hurt her at the same time.
