Alexander's Pov~
"Sir, where are we going?" She asked while looking at me confusedly.
"Stop calling me Sir, you can call me Alexander or Alex and don't be so formal." I said without looking at her, instead was focusing on the road ahead as I was driving.
I couldn't stop thinking about the Drake guy. Why the hell was he there in her apartment?
"Why was he at your apartment?" I asked her in an angry tone.
"Who? Derek?" She asked.
"Well... He is my new neighbor now and his room is getting renovated. I know him since college, actually we are besties. So for time being he is staying with us." She explained.
"Are you two .....?Together?" I questioned.
"No...! He and I, are two different...Well he is too hot for me and I am not his type." She quoted and rolled up her eyes.
Upon hearing her I felt a bit relaxed but I don't want her to be near that guy.
Suddenly her cellphone started ringing and she answered it.
Scarlet: "Hey."
.....
Scarlet: "I don't know."
.....
Scarlet: "Ok."
.....
Scarlet: "Please choose something good. I don't want to be bored to death."
.....
Scarlet: "Action!"
.....
Scarlet: "Yup. Bye."
I was listening to her conversation and was curious to know who it was? So I looked at her with raised eyebrows after once when her call got ended.
She was smiling and looked very excited.
She turned towards me and replied,
"It was Derek planning about watching a movie with him tonight at home."
After that she kept on rambling about him and her college days. To be honest, I love listening to her talk but I was least interested to listen about him. So I sped faster and we reached the spot where I had planned everything out for her.
"Why are we here?" She asked in a low voice with a surprised look and released a shaky breath.
"Shh....come with me." I whispered in her ear while moving closer and held her hand.
A soothing evening along the shores of long beach is what I have set up for her.
Actually I myself was surprised with the arrangement made by my creative team. Hmm....I should definitely give them a bonus. I mentally noted about it.
We were standing alongside the shores and I turned to look at her. She looks so beautiful even if she is just in a casual black jean and sky blue t-shirt. She has no much make up and just naturally glowing right now.
This girl just makes me go crazy every second when I am with her. What is it about her? I want to know her. God!!
"Scarlet. I...I know you have a lot of questions in your mind. The night during the charity event I was drunk and scared.... and... Upset because you were nowhere to be found. When I saw you with him I couldn't take it. You being with someone else just made me angry.... and I dragged you with me.
Sorry. I apologize to you for my behavior but I didn't mean to hurt you in anyway. I am so sorry. It just... I lost it very badly and I couldn't stop myself."
I was looking into her eyes and I could see that she was in an unbelievable state. I continued to express my feelings to her.
"I just don't know what is going on with me....With us .... But that kiss meant a lot for me. I want to know you more; I want you to be with me and want to figure this out.....about us."
"I... I don't know." She responded unsurely.
Seeing her soft pink parted lips I couldn't stop myself, pulled her towards me and crashed my lips with her. Sparks generated within me and I kissed her breathtakingly.
I didn't want to hear a no from her. I wanted to have a chance with her. I grabbed both of her hands and kissed each one of them and said,
"You don't have to answer me right away. You can think about it and answer me tomorrow."
Click click click click click click......
Suddenly I heard the sound of clicking and I realized that it's the paparazzi. They are standing way too far from us as my bodyguards have made a fence keeping them at bay.
Shit!
These guys always know how to ruin my plans. I mean seriously.... I won't be able to have a quiet evening with her neither have the candle light dinner.
"I am so sorry. We have to leave now." I informed her and I was seriously disappointed.
I gently pulled her closer to me and placed my right arm across from her shoulder and we moved along with my two bodyguards in between the crowds of photographers and reporters.
When we reached nearby to them a lot of questions were bombarded on us. Some of them were pushing in front, photos were being clicked and it was just too noisy and crowded. I whispered into her ears to stay calm and not to answer to their questions and she did so.
But one of the reporters grabbed her left arm and pulled back harshly to ask questions. She yelped and I abruptly stopped and looked back. I could see she was shaken a bit and I bet he must have given her a bruise on her arm by doing that. The thought itself made my blood boil and I quickly landed a solid punch on his face and he fell backwards with a thud. Scarlet yelled out my name and upon hearing it I faced her and gently examined her arm. I was right; it did become a purplish color now.
Thereafter there was complete silence but that moment was definitely captured by the camera and it will become hot news for tomorrow. I will have to deal with this shit the first thing in the morning. I mentally noted.
I couldn't contain my anger so I looked at him with rage and warned him.
"Do not repeat this again."
He said sorry to me and to Scarlet.
"Sorry Miss. I didn't mean to hurt you. It was by accident. I am so sorry. Sorry sir." He was scared.
"It's ok." She politely replied to him and I could see sadness in her eyes.
Why?
Damn. All I wanted to see was her smile.....when she is with me but I failed to make her happy.
I was irritated and disappointed with everything. I gently held her hand and proceeded to my car silently.
All the way to home, while driving no words were spoken between us.
I dropped her near to her apartment building and straight away headed home hoping that she will give me a chance.
At home I couldn't stop thinking about today and the way she looked sad while the incident happened with the reporter.
I was restless.
I wanted to know what she is thinking.
What she is feeling?
What is her decision about us?
Does she even think about me?
Does she feel the way I feel for her?
Will I get a chance to know her and make her happy?
There are so many questions floating in my mind which I couldn't stop from asking myself.
I picked up my cellphone and texted her.

All I ask is a chance.
I want to know you more.
Do think about it and answer me tomorrow.
I will be waiting for your reply.

I sighed and laid down onto my bed all tired and kept the cellphone next to the bedside table and drifted off to sleep wishing that tomorrow will be a positive day for myself.
