"AIDEN! Wake up! You are taking me to school today!" Lily's squealing sound wakes me up from my slumber.
"Uh, what?" I ask my little sister who is dominantly positioned on my bed with folded hands, glaring at me. "Today is brother's day, dumbo!"
"So?" I ask her, my heart crashing with all the past memories of brother's day.
"You are my brother!"
"Please, Lily. You know I am not in the right mood?"
I love Lily, really. But she is too small to understand what I go through. She doesn't get the fact that Maxon died. She just thinks he went away for some vacation without taking her and every time someone talks about Max, she is all infuriated. Sometimes, I wish she was a little older. So that I could cry with her.
Lily is stronger than me though. She is amazing. She is Maxon' s sister, after all.
I look back up again when I hear her sobbing, suddenly shaken out of my train of thought.
"You are never in the mood Aiden! You don't like me at all! No one likes me! Everyone hates me! I hate everyone too."
She jumps down from my bed and walks away, wiping her non-existent tears.
