My lips whispered and I felt a sudden pain in my heart.
Why? Of out of everyone why was he in this store?
"Beth" he said, his grey eyes looking down at me with an unknown expression in them.
I stepped back as I felt a tear drop from my eyes.
"Don't..... Don't dare say my name" I said as I took the tampon pack from the ground.
"Beth, I-"
"Don't use my name in your filthy mouth!" I said in a sharp tone
"Beth, I'm so sorry!"
"Just leave me alone, Erik! You've done enough to me! Why are you even here in this town? Weren't you supposed to be in California?!" I felt another tear roll down my cheeks.
"I'm visiting. Beth just lis-"
"No, Erik, I don't want to listen to your damn lies, alright?" I angrily pushed him away and smacked the money in front of the cashier and ran out the store.
Everything was wrong! Every damn thing was wrong with him and me.
And nothing will ever be right.
Who would've thought that one mistake can change two lives, 1 heart, and a relationship?
Bitter thoughts filled my head and angry tears kept rolling down my cheeks, one after another.
I knocked on Keira's door and tried to wipe away my tears.
Keira opened it, her hair extremely messy.
She gave me a huge great full smile but it disappeared when she noticed my face.
"Oh Beth! Are you okay?! Were you crying?! Come in!" She pulled me inside her messy room.
I sunk down on the bed, feeling angry tears fall down on my cheeks.
"What's the matter?!" Keira demanded.

She froze.

"Yes, Erik Adams!" I cut her off.

I felt her hug me.
"Cheating bastard!" Keira muttered under her breath.
