After Logan's and mine anniversary, it's finally Carlos' birthday.
We invited everyone to dinner again.
I finish preparing tortillas for Carlos' birthday dinner when Logan calls me.
"Nessie!" he shouts. "Could you come in here, please?"
I try to identify where his voice comes from. Probably the garden.
"Ah, so there you are, Honey," I say, sitting in front of Logan, who seems to be finishing painting something huge.
"What's that, though?" I ask him. "An extra birthday gift for Carlos?"
"Yep, well, kinda," he says, smiling. "It's a piñata, have you ever heard of it?"
"Yep, I have, I tried to learn Spanish once, ya should know," I reply, winking.
"I hope that Carlos likes it," he says, sighing. "What ya think?"
"Logan, it's amazing! Pretty colorful, he'll surely love it!" I say, smiling.
"Thanks for support," Logan smiles back. "Would you help me hang it up there, please?"
"Sure," I reply.
I hang it in what seems to be the best spot possible.
We have fun hosting Carlos' party in the garden.
As all the guests leave, Logan hugs me tightly.
"You know what?" he whispers in my ear softly.
