He smiled as he pulled out the seat in front of you to sit down.

"Did you order something already?" He asked.

"Uh, no. I didn't want to because what if I didn't like the person that was gonna meet me? So I didn't want to have an unpleasant cup of coffee with someone."

He snorted a chuckle, "Yup, you haven't changed a bit!"

You smiled and whispered quite loudly, "Hey what's that suppose to mean?!"

"It means what you want it to." He got up and looked at you again, "So what do you want? Do you take your coffee black or with cream?"

You stood up, "Ah, Taehyung no. I'll pay for my stuff, thank you though.

He shook his head in disagreement, "No, it wouldn't be fair for a little lady like yourself to pay. Don't worry, I have enough money." He smiled.

You sat back down, a bit uncomfortable. "Okay." You mumbled.

You looked at the back of Taehyung's head as he waited in line behind three people. He was such a nice guy. For some reason, you liked him out of all of Jungkook's friends. He was such a laid back person, and he's a really fun guy to this day. He still had a child's spirit within him.

By looking at the back of his head, you remembered the day you met him. You were seventeen at the time and Taehyung was twenty. You met the circle of Jungkook's friends. It was Seokjin, Yoongi, Namjoon, Hoseok, Jimin, and Taehyung himself. All of them were older than Jungkook, making him the youngest. All of them were kind and sweet to you, but they only thought you were Jungkook's friend since he didn't properly address that you were his girlfriend.

Taehyung was the only one to manage to make a conversation with you. He even started hitting on you since he was so clueless about your relationship with Jungkook. It wasn't his fault because no one else knew until he noticed Jungkook getting extremely jealous and even holding your hand in front of the boys. All of them soon got the hint once he kissed your cheek from him being so boiled up.

Now you were nineteen, in your freshman year of college, and little do the boys know that you and Jungkook's relationship has been going downhill for a few months now. Jin probably is hinting at it, but you doubt the other boys know since you haven't spoken to them in a while.

Taehyung came back with two cups, one filled with hot chocolate and the other with coffee. You forgot that Taehyung didn't really like coffee. He put them down rather quickly and winced at how hot the cups were.

"Sorry for the wait," he smiled. "I just didn't know what to order. I dazed out a bit."

You scoffed, "I should be the one saying that, silly."

He smiled, almost a smile of not quite understanding what you meant. "Okay," he sat down in front of you.

You took a sip of your coffee before speaking, "What have you been up too?"

He did the same, but he forgot to blow on his drink before sipping it, causing him to burn his lips. You laughed at what he did, and he smiled at you, still in pain.

"I've been studying in my university, you?"

Taehyung studying? You never thought those two words would be used in the same sentence. He was so loud and obnoxious, but he seemed so calm at the moment.

"Yeah, me too. Essay after essay. My stress even has stress." You laughed.

He simply returned a chuckle, "Well we wanted to be here, so we pay the price. It's kind of sad that I have to be focused like 24/7. I'm a loud person, so it sucks being stuck in a class with a bunch of people for hours."

You smiled, "I can feel your pain. I always want to sleep in class."

He laughed, "Just like Yoongi-hyung."

"Yoongi is my spirit animal, but he doesn't know." You told him.

You both had a long conversation on the beautiful yet mysterious topic on life. He never touched the topic about either you or Jungkook which you really appreciated. He just wanted to talk about you and you only. He was such a fun unproblematic person. You wondered, how can someone be so happy and carefree?

"I'm not trying to shoo you away but you should get going on now. Want me to walk you home?"

You took your last gulp of coffee, " Oh uh...sure."

You both left your cups there, and headed to the exit. Taehyung thanked the workers there before he held the door open for you to pass out before he could.

As both of you were walking down the street to your home, Taehyung gave you a funny look.

  You furrowed you eyebrows, "What?"

He gave you a half smile, "Isn't that sweater a little too big on you?"

You looked at him in confusion, but you ended up looking down. You snorted, "It's Seokjin's. I guess I forgot to leave it at his house"

Taehyung was confused, but he nodded, "Oh, okay."

You both made it to the corner where your home is suppose to be. It was quiet after you informed him that the sweater belonged to Jin. Maybe he just ran out of words to say.

"Well you can drop me off here, or do you wanna say hi to Jungkook or something?" You told him.

"Nah, I'll just head back. It's nice seeing you again! We should go grab another cup of coffee sometime." He smiled.

You mirrored his smile and hugged him, "Yeah, we should. Bye Taehyung."

He let go of you and you turned around to walk back home. He was gone when you already hit the front of you home.

Slowly, your smile faded away, and the events of last night came back flooding in your mind. You were no longer mad. No, you were anxious.

When you opened the door, you expected Jungkook to be watching tv in the living room. Or maybe he same woman who gave him the mark on his neck sitting there with him. No, what you saw was nothing. There wasn't anyone in your living room.

You walked in carefully. Silence. You went around the kitchen, and the snacks that Jin and yourself ate were scattered on the countertop.

You headed to the room you and Jungkook shared. You opened the door silently, and there he was. Peaceful, such innocence on his sleeping figure. You examined the room, and there was a glass of milk with a few sweet snacks on the nightstand by him. His little smile as he slept, and the white blankets kicked off his body. His shirt was lifted up to reveal his small tummy you'd love to tickle when the two of you were being playful.

You came closer, and his hair was all messy. His face was bloated, but he seemed to be very happy in his dreams. He was a child. He still ate his sweets and drank his milk before bed. Yes, this was the innocent side of Jungkook.

Yet somehow, even though he hurt you emotionally last night, you couldn't stay mad at him. You pet his head, and he let out a soft groan and wiggled his body a little closer to you. He then continued to snore almost silently. Your mouth formed a smile automatically.

"How could I be mad at that face?"

You didn't know why, but you stood up and got on the bed with him. It was so late already, and you weren't going to sleep with him since you had a cup of coffee with Taehyung a few minutes ago. You only lay next to him, looking at his sleeping face.

"You have no idea how much I fucking love you, dumbass." You whispered.

You caressed his cheek with the back of your hand. He moved his arms, so now his hand was in front of his face. You placed your palm with his, and you gently laced your fingers with his. You placed a peck on his lips and just looked at him sleep. He got as close as he possibly could and wrapped his arms around you.

Suddenly, all the sleepiness you didn't feel hit you in the face. You couldn't sleep now. It was late, and it would ruin your sleep schedule. Yet somehow, your eyes grew heavy. You slept like two hours ago. You forced yourself to stay awake by shutting your eyes tightly and opening them quickly. Your eyes started to give in until you started to notice that Jungkook was moving way more than usual.

He yawned softly before opening his eyes. He saw that you were in his arms, and he tilted his head like a lost puppy, "(Y/n)?"

"Morning, Jungkook. How'd you sleep?" You asked.

"I..I slept well. I-"

He seemed to hesitate on what he was about to say. He seemed more worried than sleepy at this point.

"Are you okay there, Kook?" You asked.

"I just wanted to apologize about yesterday. I was an asshole, and I was drunk to make matters worse. I'm really, really sorry. I can explain this stupid thing on my body. It wasn't bec-"

Suddenly, the doorbell rung.

Jungkook raised his eyebrow, "Did you invite someone?"

You shook your head, "No."

"I'll tell you later, but why do you smell like coffee? Did you make some? Also, where did you stay last night?" He asked.

"I stayed at Seokjin's and Taehyung invited me out for coffee." You explained.

He grew suspicious and upset, "Wait, why'd you stay at Jin's and not your friends house?"

"Jin is my friend, Jungkook. I was crying in his arms all night. I didn't do anything stupid, geez."

"Okay, fine. We'll talk about that situation later. I thought Taehyungie was focused on his studies?" He sat up on the bed that you both shared.

"I don't know. It's was nice though. You know how much I love cafés." You smiled.

He mirrored the same smile, "Yeah. I'll take you out to one around this week if you want. You should go get the door. That person out our door has been waiting for a long time."

You listened to what he said and went towards the door. You couldn't really see who it was through the window, but you ended up opening the door.

"Oh (Y/n), it's nice to see you." He smiled.

"Oh, hey Jimin! How have you been?" You leaned in for a hug.

He instantly hugged you back, "I'm great! You?"

"Oh, I'm good too. Why're you here, huh?"

Jimin laughed, "I was wondering if Jungkook was okay from last night. Did you take care of him again?"

You tried to give a real smile, "Yeah."

Jimin gave you a fishy look until Jungkook came towards the both of you, in a tired, sluggish, manner.

"Ah hyung, I'm never going to drink again. My head is killing me." Jungkook moaned out in pain.

Jimin began to scold the younger boy, "This is your fault, Jeon Jungkook. You should rest."

You smiled and grabbed Jimin's hand, "Come in, Jimin! Don't be standing out there!"

Without you noticing, Jimin's face began to burn up due to the small contact the two of you just had.

You lead the two of them to the kitchen and began to cut up some fresh fruit. You took a quick glance at the two, and Jungkook gave Jimin a certain look as if to say "back me up."

"So hyung, can you tell (Y/n) why I got these stupid marks on my neck? I remember a girl just coming up to me and holding me down on the table and doing them to me."

Jimin bit his bottom lip before speaking, "Yeah, and some random ass dude choked you, no?"

You looked down, "Well it's better that you came home with those marks than a black eye and a random woman."

Jungkook smiled, "You're the only one for me, (Y/n)."

Without either you or Jungkook noticing, Jimin gave Jungkook a look of disgust.

  "How could he?" He thought.

Jimin clearly remembers what happened last night. Yes, a girl did come up and try to give Jungkook some hickeys, but it was the same girl that Jungkook was buying drinks all night long. It was the same girl Jungkook danced with, and the same girl Jimin said to stay away from because he knew how much it would break your heart. Yet, Jungkook never understood, and you never got the truth.

You began to put the freshly cut fruit in a bowl, "So how are you and your girlfriend, Jimin?"

Jimin rubbed the back of his neck, "She broke up with me because she thought I was annoying. I'm not affected by it though, it was only three months anyway."

"Annoying?" You asked. "What was she annoyed about?"

Jimin shrugged, "I guess I was too clingy or something. She didn't like that about me."

You frowned, "Clingy? You always got her what she wanted, and you would always show her off like a goddess."

"I guess she thought differently." He said.

"Differently?" You thought.

You always envied Jimin's past and present girlfriends. Jimin would always be all over them, giving them as much as he could. He always showed them off, even if they didn't want to be praised. Something you always wanted Jungkook to adopt from Jimin.

Jungkook used to be like that but it wasn't like Jimin. He would act lovingly towards you in public at times back then, but you felt like he was tired of you. He didn't even introduce you as his girlfriend at times. He'd only be reminded if a girl was all over him at a party, and you'd suddenly show up. Only in situations like that. He didn't really get you anything, only if you were mad or upset.

You looked at Jimin and smiled, "Well it must be nice to be treated like how you've treated all your past girlfriends."

Jimin smiled, "Yeah, it makes me feel good too."

You took a glance at Jungkook, and he was just playing on his phone and smiling. Probably texting someone you didn't even know.

   "He'll never change..."
