Sunday morning I got out of bed in a very good mood. I was super excited for pyramid tomorrow. I just hoped the other girls would return to the team.
I have a private with Gia this morning so I got into the shower and got ready.
I wore a red ALDC halter crop top with black booty shorts. I threw my hair into a bun and grabbed my dance bag.
I came down the steps and placed my bag at the bottom of the steps.
"I made egg sandwich's!" My mom said cheerfully from the kitchen.
"Oh yummy!" I said as I walked into the kitchen. My mom pointed to the plate on the island and I grabbed it.
"Thanks." I said and sat down at the table.
"You're welcome." She replied taking a plate of her own.
I grabbed my phone and scrolled through Instagram while I ate. "Oh yeah would it be okay if Liv slept over tonight?" I asked.
"I have no problem with that, but doesn't she have school tomorrow?" My mom questioned.
"They just got on winter break." I replied then took another bite of my egg sandwich.
"Oh okay, that's fine with me."
"Thanks." I said bringing my now empty plate to the dishwasher.
I went up stairs brushed my teeth and finished getting ready. Once I was finally ready I grabbed my bag and we got into the car headed to the studio.
My mom had dropped me off and would be back to pick me up after the private. When I got into the studio, there were several dancers everywhere. Abby had a multiple classes going as if right now.
I walked down the hall turned the corner down another hall then finally I opened the door to studio C.
Gia was already in the room messing with the sound. "Go ahead and get stretched out." She told me.
I place my bag in the corner of the room then I went to the center and began stretching.
My private was entirely about technique. It was a good lesson plus Gia made it fun to learn.
"Good work today." Gia told me as I grabbed my bag.
"Thanks you it helped a lot." I said standing by the door.
"Your welcome, see you tomorrow Kit Kat." She joked as I left the room.
I rolled my eyes as I left the room. "Bye!" I said as I walked out.
Gia and I were randomly talking about Kit Kats earlier and I said I didn't like them. Since my name starts with Kit she started messing with me and calling me Kit Kat.
My mom was waiting in her car in the parking lot so I walked out the back door and got into the car.
"How'd it go?" My mom asked as I got into the passenger seat.
"It was good." I replied as I buckled my seat belt.
I decided I should probably text Liv to bring a swim suit tonight in case we go swimming. So I did just that. She replied with, 'Okay, I can't wait'.
Once we got home I went upstairs put on my plain grey T-shirt with denim shorts on.
I pulled my hair down from the bun, and brushed it out.
I went down stairs and told my mom all about New York as I waited for Liv to arrive.
Bang Bang someone knocked on the front door. I quickly ran to the front door and opened it.
"Liv!" I shouted pulling her into a hug.
"Katie!" She shouted as she saw me.
"I missed you so much and it's only been two weeks." Liv said as we pulled away from the hug.
"Me too." I replied smiling. "Let's go up to my room." I said as she came in side.
"Hi Miss. Rose." Katie greeted my mom who was in the living room.
"Hello Liv." My mom replied from the living room.
We went up the steps and went into my room. We both plopped down on my bed.
"Tell me everything!" Liv said excitedly.
"We got first with the group booth weekends. Also... I got a solo both weeks!"
"And...?" Liv lead on.
"And... I got first with both of them!" I said full of happiness.
"Oh my gosh! Seriously!" Liv said and I nodded my head.
"Hey... Maybe you could come watch us at studio tomorrow if you want to?" I asked.
"That's not even a question, of course I want to!" Liv said happily.
"Alright then it's set." I said smiling.
"You have to introduce me to the girls." Liv begged.
"Yeah... About that...." I said awkwardly.
"Huh, what?" Liv asked.
"There's some major drama right now. So I don't know if some of the girls will be there." I replied.
"Wait what happened?" Liv asked.
The I went on and explained the whole story about Ashley and Byrnn and how it led to all the moms leaving. Then I explained how they went to Debbie Allen etc, you've already heard the story so I'm not going in detail.
"Wow." Liv said shocked as I finished the story.
"Yup." I simply replied.
"Well, let's just hope they do come back so I get to meet them." Liv said full of hope.
"Yeah that's why they need to come back." I said sarcastically and laughed.
After we talked a bit more I decided we could go do something fun.
"Hey wanna go walk around Margo Hall, the local shopping center?" I asked Liv knowing she was going to say yes. (Margo Hall is a great name right? Not. As can tell I made that up. Lol.)
"Sure, sounds like fun." She replied.
We both walked down stairs and into the living room where my mom was watching tv.
"Can we go down to Margo Hall?" I asked my mom.
"Yeah sure, just be carful." She replied.
"Okay we will." I said as Liv and I walked out the door.
Margo Hall is a shopping center near by. So obviously it was within walking distance. We talked all the way there chatting it up.
"I'm hungry, wanna get some Starbucks?" Liv asked.
"Sure." I replied as we walked down the sidewalk headed to Starbucks.
When we got inside we told the lady behind the counter fake names cause why not.
I got a limited edition waffle cone frappe. Liv got the s'mores frappe.
I told the lady my name was Rachel and Liv told the lady her name was Colleen. (If you awesome possums know wants that's from we can be friends. See what I did there.)
We walked into several stores and looked at clothes and other stuff. We even bought a few things. Obviously we took many selfies while we were there.
We walked all the way back home and brought the bags up to my room. We both tried on the clothes and modeled them for each other. We also took some OOTD pictures in front of my mirror.
We did that for about an hour up in my room then we thew on our swim suits.
I wore a chevron white and black bikini. The top was strapless.
Liv wore her blue and pink Triangl styled bikini.
We grabbed our phones and towels and went down stairs.
"Mom were going to the pool." I yelled to her as we walked out the door.
"Okay." She yelled back then I shut the door.
We walked a short distance to the neighborhood pool. It was winter break for Liv but we were in LA, and it wasn't even that cold so far.
"Sweet!" I said as I saw that the pool was completely to ourselves.
"Yes!" Liv said happily as we walked through the entrance. We laid our towels out on the pool chairs. Liv put her phone on the table but I kept mine with me due to the waterproof case.
We got into the water and started swimming. "Hey guys it's Katie and Liv and were at the pool!" I had started a live stream.
"Hey!" Liv said waving to the camera. "Wow 2k people that fast!" Liv said shocked. I nodded my head and laughed.
I place the phone on the edge of the pool so they could see us. I had a pop socket on the back of my phone so I was using it like a phone stand right now. Liv and I were backed up away from the camera in the water.
Where we were standing the water went up a little past our bellies.
"So for those of you who don't know her, this is my Best Friend Liv!"
"Yo!" Liv said jokingly.
"Okay so we're goings to be answering questions, doing dares, and having fun in the water." I said with a smile on my face.
"They want to know if you do dance." I told Liv reading he comments.
"Yep, I dance." Liv joked doing the Nae Nae.
"No but really she does." I said laughing.
"Yeah we even auditioned for the ALDC together." Liv said smiling.
"Yup." I agreed with Liv.
"Okay the first person who comments a dare, if it's not too crazy we'll do it!" I said hoping it wouldn't be something nasty.
"Do a flip into the pool." Liv read off the phone.
"Okay, we can do that." I said as as swam to the steps out of camera view to walk to the other side of the pool.
When we got to the other side we were back in the camera view.
The other side was deeper so we weren't going hit the ground and die or whatever.
"Ready?" Liv asked.
I nodded my head and we started counting down. "3, 2, 1 JUMP." We shouted in unison.
We both did a front flip into the pool. We swam over to more shallow end in the camera view. "Is that good enough for you guys?" I said laughing.
We swam around in the pool doing the live stream. We answered questions and did reasonable NON embarrassing dares.
By the time we were done swimming it was 8:00pm. We walked up to my room, took our swim suits off, changed into some PJ's and had some hot dogs from the kitchen.
After a while we laid down in my bed upstairs and watched YouTube on the tv. I even posted one of the pictures we had take at the mall on Instagram. Captioned, Reunited with this one @Liv_Livy 😘💖
"Promise you won't forget about me when you become all rich and famous." Liv said as we laid in the bed.
"I promise I won't ever forget you." I said smiling. We watched YouTube til' about 10:00pm then we decided to go to sleep because we would have to get up early.
