we entered the abandoned building after we dropped Normani off and got equipped for this . I was scared to death . the fact that I may never see Dinah again scares me .
"walz , stop freaking out . you'll see me again . stop worrying ." Dinah's voice rings through my earpiece .
I smiled before following the girls . this may be an abandoned building but it's pretty nice . they must've decorated it or something .
"well well well , if it isn't Normani's friends ." a voice said , as a figure jumped out of the shadows .
I couldn't help but let out a scream . Lauren and ally gave me a glare and I immediately apologized . I didn't mean to scream but it scared me .
"why don't you just give up now ? we have this whole building surrounded ." Lauren said , smirking .
"oh really ?"
"yeah . so why don't you just come with us ?"
"not a chance ."
"suit yourself ."
I don't know what was happening but all I know was that fear was written all over her face after Lauren said that . I looked over at ally with fear . she walked towards me and just told me to stay quiet .
"f-fine , I-I-I'll c-come ." she stuttered .
"holy shit that's amazing !" Dinah yelled .
I have never saw Lauren do her power but Jesus fucking Christ , that was the most scariest thing I witnessed . remind me to never make Lauren mad . Lauren had put handcuffs around Leslie's wrist and escorted her out of the building . I took one last look around the building to see someone smiling . it brought chills to my body as we walked out of the building .
what if Leslie has tricks up her sleeves ? are we in danger ? is Norm- oh shit ! we never reported to her ! I quickly fumbled through my pockets to get my phone out . I could see the girls giving me weird looks but I didn't care at the moment . I need to make sure she's okay .
"pick up , please ."
it's been going to voicemail for the past five times . ally started to drive and I told her to get to the station as soon as possible . after the tenth attempt , I threw my phone at the floor . I ran my fingers through my hair as I looked out the window .
"what's up Camila ?" Dinah asked , looking at me with worried eyes .
I internally cringed at my name . she never said my full name unless I was in trouble .
"Normani isn't picking up her phone and I'm worried someone has her ."
"once we drop off the bitch , we can go see her ."
"okay ."
I continued to look out the window and the car was stopping we were at the station . I watched as Lauren shoved the woman out of the car before rushing her inside . a couple minutes later , she jumped in the car and shouted for ally to go .

"Normani ?" Dinah called out , as she opened the door .
no answer . so Dinah took off upstairs to go find her and the rest of us was down here checking the guest rooms .
"up here !"
we all ran into Normani's room to find Normani laying on the bed sleeping . Dinah didn't look too happy though .
"Dinah what's wrong ?" I asked .
"we just fell for a trap ."
"how ?" Lauren questioned with a confused look .
"this is a projection of Normani sleeping ."
"mila , do your power !" ally screamed .
I nodded and closed my eyes . I concentrated on what I wanted . soon I was able to open my eyes and see what happened .
after we dropped Normani off , she decided to take a shower and head off to bed . before she could open the door to her room , someone in a black mask came up behind her and knocked her out with the chloroform . then he dragged her out of the house and came back in a couple seconds later to set up a projector .
I closed my eyes and took a breath . once I opened my eyes , I was back with the girls . I scanned the room and found the projector . it camouflaged with the wall but I could see the light that came out of it .
"they were one step ahead of us ." I dejectedly said .
"they knew I wasn't about to have Normani go after her ." Dinah said in a low voice .
"how did they know that ?" Lauren asked her .
"where was Alicia after I held Normani ?"
"I don't know . she probably le- don't tell me she's in on this ."
"why that little traitor ." ally growled .
she was fuming with anger . we were all just standing here when we all need to be saving Normani .
"let's move people ! we have to find Normani ." I yelled at them , ushering them out the room .
this has been such a terrible month . first we are partnered with three strangers , second sergeant loses both his son and wife , third Dinah gets shot , and last but not least , Normani is kidnapped . oh and now we find out that Alicia was in on this . but why ? what will Alicia gain by doing this ?
"I swear if they touch Normani in the wrong way , I'm going to flip ." Dinah said , frustratedly .
"Dinah , she isn't yours . you can't say that ."
"shit , she isn't mine either yet I'm agreeing with Dinah ." Lauren yelled .
"okay , how about this ? if we find out that someone touched Normani in the wrong way then you both have permission to kick their asses ." ally suggested .
"yes !" Lauren and Dinah yelled together .
I rolled my eyes and turned my attention back to the front .
"aren't you going to be pissed ?" I asked ally .
she chuckled before glancing at me for a quick second .
"trust me sweetie , I'm already pissed right now but I'm not about to have these girls arguing over Normani . I'm saving it for when I see Alicia . she's going get it ."
"you're not going to hit her right ?"
"of course not . I'm just going to yell at her for being a traitor . I'm also going to tell the sergeant . unless his ass was on it too ."
"when the people you used to trust suddenly turns into someone you can't trust ."
"you sound like you've been in that situation ."
I took a deep breath before looking at the back to find Lauren and Dinah , cuddled up asleep .
"Dinah's ex boyfriend used to work with us and he was always sweet . that is until he got promoted to be the head chief . that's when all the workers started bullying us . the guy we used to know turned into a whole other person and we couldn't believe it . so we put in a transfer but her ex boyfriend ripped it up . Dinah literally had to beat him up for him to stop ripping the papers . we finally had our transfer papers send and we got offered to work with three other girls . Dinah didn't want to turn down the offer because she was a social butterfly and tried getting along with everyone ."
"dang , I apologize for the girls on meeting you ."
"no , it's okay . they didn't know how to react to it . going to work and finding out that you have to work with two new girls . I get why they weren't ecstatic ."
"they have a bad past on letting people in . they also fall too quickly and they're so hard to handle at times but I love my girls . they're starting to get close to you two ."
"we just have to trust ourselves . no one else just us . we're family now ."
"that we are . let's go save our baby ."
"question is how do we find her ?"
I was cut off by my phone ringing . it was an unknown number . I hesitantly picked it up .
"you're going to pay for putting the love of my life in jail . all starting with this little whore ."
the person hung up and I started shaking . ally noticed and she stopped driving . so she pulled over to the side of the road .
"mila , what's wrong ?"
"he told me that we were going to pay for putting the love of his life in jail and he's starting with Normani ."
just before she could speak , Dinah started mumbling things in her sleep . she has another gift that she hasn't told the girls but she has precognition . premonition is one of the variations . she's going to be the reason that we will have Normani home . Dinah started talking louder and woke up Lauren in the process . she looked confused but I put a finger on my mouth to say 'be quiet' . she nodded and we all waited for Dinah to wake up . a couples seconds later , her eyes snapped opened and she was furious . what the hell did she see ? please tell me Normani is okay .
