We all into M&M world and it was a candy wonderland! Pastel colors is all the eye can see. It even smells good. "Oh my gosh! There is a wall of M&M's!" Mackenzie says happily as we take a look around.
"Girls go pick out some M&M's I'll pay for everything!" Abby says with a smile on her face.
"Really!" Jojo asks excitedly.
"Absolutely!" Abby confirms motioning us to go. The moms and Abby talk to each other as they took a look around the store. While as us girls walk around wide eyed and excited.
"Oh we can mix the flavors from the M&M wall and put them in these containers!" I exclaim grabbing a container.
"I'm there!" Kendall grins also grabbing a container. We all grab a container and used the sharpie that was attached to the wall to write our names on our containers. Soon all of us were mixing the different flavors of M&M's into our containers.
I decided to fill mine up with Mint, Honey Nut, Birthday Cake, Coffee Nut, Surprise Sundae, Red Velvet, Strawberry Shortcake, Orange, White Peppermint, S'mores, and many more flavors of M&M's. I also got these special white M&M's that had a heart on them and in the heart it says 'Vegas'.
After we all filled up our containers we looked around the store a bit more. We also all decided to get a pair of M&M world socks. When we finished looking around the store we found Abby looking around at the M&M world coffee mug section. "I think we're ready to check out." Jojo announces to Abby.
"Alright!" Abby smiles, "Let's go check out." Abby says and we follow her over to the cashiers. When the moms notice they also came and stood over by us. We all put our things up on the counter and the worker scanned everything.
"That'll be 90 dollars." The worker said in a cheerful tone.
"Okay." Abby said as she swiped her credit card through the machine. The worker put all of our stuff into separate M&M world bags then handed them to us.
"Thank you for shopping at M&M world, come again soon!" The worker hands off all the bags then we start walking to the exit.
"You girls having fun?" Holly asks as we walk outside.
"So much fun!" Kendall says cheerfully.
"Well that's good to hear." Melissa smiles.
"Oh girls go stand over by that M&M statue so we can get a picture." My mom points to the statue. We walked over to the statue as my mom gets her phone ready to take the picture. We all put on surprised faces and point behind us at the Green M&M statue. "Okay girls 3..2..1." My mom takes the picture. "Cute!" She remarks looking down at her phone to review to picture.
"Hey mom could you text me that photo?" I asks motioning to the phone.
"Sure I'll do it in the limo." My mom replies casually.
"Okay, thanks." Once again we got back into the limos. But this time we were head to the hotel. We pull up to the hotel and my jaw drops. It was a giant building That had about four huge pools!
"Wow!" I awe as we get out of the limo with the rest of the girls.
"This place looks amazing!" Maddie says as we both look up at the tall building.
"Okay girls let's get inside we need to check in." Abby instructs and we obey. The lobby was super fancy! It had a marble floor that had a design in it, a pretty chandelier that hung in the middle of the room over a small fountain. Off to the right there was a long desk where people check in. Then straight across from the front door was a hallway that I don't know where it leads. Then finally off to the left there are several couches, tables, and chairs where people can wait. There are currently a bunch of people checking in so I already know it's was going to be another long wait. "Could one of you go make yourselves useful and get us checked-in?" Abby says looking to the moms.
"Sure." My mom replied going and getting in line for the check in. The other moms decided to join her in the line.
"Okay girls let's have a seat." Abby tells us as we walk over to the waiting area. Maddie, Jojo, and I sit on one of the couches and Kendall, Mackenzie, and Nia si on the couch across from us. Abby however chooses a comfy chair next to the side of the couch I'm sitting on.
I decide to scroll through Instagram while we wait. As I scroll through I notice Abby had posted the picture of us from inside the limo and I like it. She had also posted a picture that said "ALDC LA Meet and greet! Come watch the ALDC girls dance as well as get to know them! We will be having a Q&A and be doing pictures and signings! All at the Mandalay Hotel and Resort. Hope to see you there!"
I liked the picture and couldn't help but grin a little bit. "I'm gonna try these M&M's." I announce reaching in the M&M world bag to grab my container.
"Same! They had so many different flavors!" Jojo took hers out as well. We eventually all had our container out and were trying the M&M's. "These are delicious!" Maddie exclaims popping one into her mouth.
"They should sell these flavors everywhere!" Nia adds to which we all agree. After we eat a serval dozen M&M's the moms come over holding the room keys:
"We're all set!" My mom says in a cheerful tone.
We all put our M&M's back into the bags and got up. "Thank you!" Abby says smiling.
We start walking down the big hallway and when we got to the end I was shocked. It was a huge room that had a dining area, a stage which someone was currently performing on. There was even a hotel gift shop, also there was and entrance to 'Shark Reef' which is an aquarium that the hotel has. There are steps that led down to the ground level everything was at. Off to the left and right there is a glass widow and on the inside so you can see the elevators going up and down.
"Sunday, that's your meet and greet stage." Abby points to the stage. We all excitedly smile at that remark. "Okay let's go get our rooms so we can get into our bathing suits. We're headed down to the resort area after this.
We couldn't all fit in the elevator at the same time so just us girls got into it first. "Girls we're on the top floor!" Jill points to the elevator buttons before we go up.
"Okay." Kendall clicks the button for the top floor and the door shuts. When we were going up we waved down at Abby and the moms who could see us on the ground. We got up to the top floor we had to wait for the Abby and the moms who had the room keys.
"Let's do a ugly dance contest while we're waiting." Mackenzie suggest.
"Okay." Nia agrees as we all set down our M&M bags down.
"I'll judge!" Kendall volunteers. "Ready set... Go!" Kendall watches as we all start dancing like weirdos.
"Mackenzie your not ugly enough! Your out." Kendall eliminates Mackenzie who walks over to Kendall laughing. I made the ugliest face and started wiggling my arms then I bent down and did the ugliest cartwheel. This has to be ugly enough right? Mackenzie and Kendall were cracking up laughing at everyone.
"Nia your not ugly enough!" Kendall says as Nia walks over to where they were standing. When the moms hop of the elevator they all started laughing at us.
"Katie your not ugly enough!" Kendall says as I walked over to them laughing at Maddie and Jojo dancing.
"Okay, down to the last two let's see this." Kendall says in a deep announcer voice. After a few moments of us laughing at Jojo and Maddie ugly dancing, Kendall had to pick a winner.
"Okay I have decided the winner." Kendall walks over to Maddie and Jojo and grabs each of their hands.
"And the winner is." Kendall raises Jojo's hand into the the air, "Jojo!" Kendall announces, "Jojo you're now the new champion of the ugliest dance contest!" Kendall says laughing.
When Abby came up the elevator we had finished the contest and were ready to go to the hotel rooms. "Okay you girls have one room and the moms have two." Abby says handing Kendall the room key. "Girls your room is #1052 and moms you have #1053 and #1054. I'll be in room #1050."
We walked down the hall and eventually found the room number #1052. "Since it's your first competition why don't you go in first." Kendall offers me the room key.
"Thanks." I hug Kendall then I slid the credit card shaped key into the door lock. The door opened and I smiled happily. There were two beds and a pull out sofa. There was a dresser with a television on top of it that sat parallel to the beds.
Next to each bed there was a night stand with a lamp. Past the beds there was a black divider. Next past the divider there was a table with chairs, as well as against the wall was a desk. There was also a deck that we could walk out on. "Wow." I walk in and s set my M&M world bag down.
"Let's go check out the view!" Nia smiles as everyone else puts their M&M world bags down. We slide the curtain over then open the sliding door and walk out onto the deck.
"Wow!" I said shocked. You could see four huge outdoor pools as well as lots of buildings in the distance.
"This place is huge!" Mackenzie says looking over the railing.
"You got that right!" Jojo agrees also looking beyond the railing. After enjoying the view for a moments we walk back into the hotel room shutting the sliding door.
"Let's leave the curtain pulled out of the way so we can see the view." Maddie suggest as we walked over to the beds.
"Good idea." Nia agree looking around.
"Wait where are our suitcases?" I ask.
"I don't know let's look around." Jojo gets up from sitting on the bed. On the right side of the door there was a closet and I decided to look in it. Sure enough inside was six suitcases.
"Here they are." I announce halting the search part and pulling my suitcase out.
The other girls went and got theirs as well. "Oh of course in the closet. Where clothes belong." Mackenzie face palms.
"Wait where are our makeup suitcases?" I ask confused.
"Oh we had someone at the airport send them to the competition. We send them there so they are already set up when we get there." Nia explains opening her suitcase.
"Oh, sorry for all the questions. New here." I laugh and everyone else starts laughing as well.
"Okay, I bet Abby and the moms are waiting for us, we should hurry up and get our swim suits on." Maddie pulls her swimsuit out of her bag.
After I had grabbed my Black strapless bikini. We all started changing. When we we're all dressed I took off my Black and gold ALDC hat and put it into my suitcase.
"Good thing I wore water proof makeup." I say laughing.
"That would have been hilarious if you weren't wearing water proof makeup." Mackenzie smirks.
"True, but also embarrassing."
Once we were all ready we walked into the hallway and sure enough our moms and Abby were all waiting for us in their swim suits.
"Okay girls! Let's go get into the pool!" Abby cheers beginning to walk down the hallway.
"Wooh!" We cheer as well and hopped into the elevator.
Once again we had to wait for Abby and the moms when we got back down to the lobby.
"Can you guys tell who is on the stage?" Jojo asks.
"It looks like a magician." Kendall replies squinting her eyes looking to the stage.
"Yeah I think it's a magician." Nia agrees with Kendall.
When Abby and the moms finally got down to the lobby we head to the pool. We got there it surprisingly wasn't even that packed. The moms and Abby found some beach chairs and laid down. While us kids all ran down into the water to start swimming
"Oh my gosh! Go under the water!" I say shocked. There was underwater music that you couldn't hear above the water. The song was 'Can't Stop the Feeling' by Justin Timberlake.
"Oh my gosh that's so cool!" Mackenzie smiles coming up from under the water.
"I know right!" Kendall agrees.
"Oh let's go to the lazy River!" Jojo suggest.
"Okay." Maddie replies as we get out of the water and start walking over to the lazy river. We grab the tubes that the hotel provides and got on them in the lazy river. Selectively we pick the doubles and pair up with someone to get into the water. Maddie and I got on one, Kendall and Nia got in another, and lastly Mackenzie and Jojo got into one. We all held onto the others tubes so we could all stay together.
"We're gonna get splashed!" I say as I see a waterfall in front of us under a bridge.
"Kenz and Jojo you guys are gonna end up going first unless the tube turns!" Kendall said laughing.
"Not us!" Jojo's eyes widen and she sticks her hands in the water trying to get the tube to turn.
It was to late though we were to close to the waterfall Jojo and Mackenzie went under first then Maddie and I. Then lastly Nia and Kendall.
"That was freezing!" I flinch after we got out from under the waterfall.
"I know! Pure cold water!" Jojo says laughing.
We went through the lazy river five times then decided to head back to the regular pool. When we were walking to the pool we noticed Abby and our moms motioning us to come to them.
We walked over to them. "Girls were going to head back to the hotel room to get dressed, we're going to go check out the hotel's aquarium." Abby told us.
"Oh okay." We say grabbing some hotel provided towels off the table that was next to the beach chairs. After drying off we went back to our rooms and got changed into the clothes we were wearing before.
I put my black crop top that says 'Dance' on it as well as my black Adidas joggers back on. I also put my black and gold ALDC snap back, with my white Nike Roshies. Since my hair was wet I decided to put it into a ponytail.
When we got back down to the lobby we went through the entrance to the 'Shark Reef'. We immediately went inside the aquarium area. First we decide to go through the tunnel. When we walk in we were basically inside the aquarium in a tunnel where we could see all the Sharks swimming around us.
"Okay this is kind of scary." Mackenzie wears a weary look on her face. A hammer head shark passed right by the tunnel.
"Yup." I say laughing.
"Let's take a selfie Kat." Maddie says to me as she prepares her phone.
"Okay." Maddie and I go against the tunnel wall and take a selfie. Maddie looks down at the picture and starts laughing.
"What?" I ask. Did my face look weird or something?
"The picture looks like it was taken right before something terrible happened!" Maddie shows me the picture. Sure enough right between us was a hammerhead shark, that looked like it was trying to join the picture.
"Oh my gosh!" I say cracking up.
After we went through the twelve other exhibits it was time for dinner. We headed back to the lobby. "Okay we're going to be having dinner here while we watch a magic show." Abby says pointing to the stage area.
We cheered as we walked over to the seating next to the stage and sat down. Before the show started we had a waiter come over to us and ask us what we wanted according to the menus that were sitting on the table. I decided to order a Dr. Pepper with Spaghetti and meatballs. After a while the waiter came back with our food and we began to eat as the magic show started.
A man walked onto the stage and introduced himself. "I'm am the great Jackadinny and I hope you guys are excited to see some magic tricks!" The man says and everyone claps and cheers as we eat as did the rest of the people watching the show. "For my first trick I will need a volunteer."
We all raise our hands and cheer trying to catch his attention to be picked. "You there in the Black dance shirt!" The magician says as I got up and walked to the stage with a smile on my face. When I got up onto the stage I stood next to the magician. "What's your name?" He asks me.
I froze and my eyes widened. I knew there had to be some dance moms fans in the audience. I looked to Abby who was mouthing "Say, you can't."
"I can't say it.." I say awkwardly.
"Um... Okay then.. I'm gonna call you cheese." He says and I laughing.
"Okay Cheese can you hold this penny." He says putting a penny into my hand.
"Okay squeeze it as hard as you can." I put my hand in a fist and squeeze it as he told me.
"Okay now, to take this work I have to chant the magic words." The magician said, "Abracadabra!" He tapped the top of my hand three times.
"Now Cheese, I want you to throw the penny as hard as you can at the audience. I did as we told. But when I tried to throw it nothing was in my hand. The audience cheered after they noticed there was not penny.
"Thank you!" The magician says and bows. "Okay Cheese you can head back to your seat now." He tells me. I walked back to the table and sat down.
"Hey cheese." Maddie whispers as I take my seat.
"Be quite." I whisper back and laugh.
After the show was over it was about seven o'clock pm.We went up to the room and put our PJ's on and we made vines and music.lys. Then we turned on the television and watched 'The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon.' None of us made it through the whole show because we all fell asleep on the beds.
