Manik got worried as to where Nandini had disappeared suddenly.
He searched the entire college but Nandini was nowhere.
Manik went to Nandini's hostel but she wasn't there as well.
Manik wondered where Nandini had gone all of a sudden without informing.
Dejected by his inability to find Nandini, Manik returned home.
In the Meantime,
Nandini was in a train going to her house in Pune.
Nandini had received a call from her home informing that her grandmother had been admitted to hospital and she was very critical.And she wanted to talk to Nandini.
Nandini's family had asked her to come back home immediately.
In a hurry Nandini didn't get time to inform anybody nor had time to go to the hostel.
As soon as she kept the call, Nandini immediately changed her dress and took her bag and rushed to the station.
Nandini Didn't notice that her phone had got switched off.
She reached Pune and immediately took a cab and went to the hospital.
Her entire family was present there.
They informed Nandini that her grandmother was in I.C.U.
Nandini took permission of the doctor and went inside.
Nandini GM was lying on the hospital bed with her eyes closed.
Nandini - Dadi.....
As soon as Dadi heard Nandini's voice, she opened her eyes.
Dadi- Nanhi aagayi tu.
Nandini - Haan Dadi.
Dadi- Yahan aa mere paas.
Nandini went and sat near Dadi.
Nandini had tears in her eyes but controlled and said- Kya Dadi aap bhi na. Kitna dara dia aapne. Ab kaisi tabiyat hai aapki.
Dadi smiled and said- Ab tu agayi hai na to mai bilkul theek hijaungi.
A nurse came inside and asked Nandini to go out as the patient needed rest.
Nandini nodded and left .
She came outside and started crying .
Nandini's family consoled her and asked her to wipe her tears.
Nandini asked the doctor about Dadi's condition.
Nandini- Dadi theek to hojayenge na?
Doctor - Next 24 hours are very critical. If she is able to survive this period then she will be completely out of danger.
Saying this he went away.
Nandini went and sat at the bench outside the ICU and after few minutes,she fell asleep in sitting position as she was too tired of the journey.
Few hours passed by and she woke up when someone tapped her shoulder.
Nandini opened her eyes and saw that her sister was standing there with two cups of coffee.
Nandini took the cup and said- Varsha kya hua tha Dadi ko. Yoon achanak.
Varsha thought for sometime and said- Chodo ye sab baatein. Tum batao how is your college going on.
Nandini - It's going good. Intact aaj hi Maine do competition Jeete hai.
Varsha - Oh wow. Congratulations. Not bad huh....
Nandini - Thank you. You know mai dance competition me first aayi hu. Can you believe it mai aur dance?
Varsha - Really???? Oh my God. Tumhi to kehti thi ke tumhe to dance ka ABCD tak nahi aata tha.
Nandini smiled and said - It's all because of Manik. He taught me how to dance. Bahut hi patience hai usme Jo usne meri jaisi non dancer ko itna Acha dance karna dikhaya.
Varsha - Manik???? Ye kaun hai?
Nandini - Wo he is my senior in college. My friend.
Varsha - Oooooo.... friend huh...... Just friend ya more than friend.
Nandini - What nonsense?
Varsha - Chehra Dekha hai apna aaine me. Manik ke baare me baat karte hue your face is glowing.
Nandini - Aisa kuch Nahi hai. Tum Kuch bhi mat bolo.
Varsha - Ok fine.
Suddenly Nandini realised that she hadn't informed Manik and others that she had come to meet her Dadi.
Nandini took out her phone and found that it was switched off.
So she took Varsha's phone and dialled Manik's number.
At Manik's house -
Manik was lying on his bed thinking where Nandini had left suddenly.
Manik's phone started ringing. He saw an unknown number and didn't pick up the call.
Then he received a message.
Manik looked at the message and found that it was Nandini who was calling him.
Manik sat up immediately and dialled the number.
And Nandini picked up on the second ring.
Manik - Hello..... Nandini is it you?
Nandini - Hi Manik. Yes it's me.
Manik heaved a sigh of relief.
Manik -
Nandini where the hell are you?
Aur tumhara phone kyu off hai?
Ye kiske phone se call Kia tumne ?
R u fine?
Speak up Damnit......
Nandini - Manik relax..... I am completely fine.
Wo actually mai Pune aayi thi.
I didn't have Time so I didn't inform anyone.
Manik - What?Pune? But Why?
Nandini - Wo Dadi is admitted in hospital. So I came here.
Manik - Oh. How is she now?
Nandini - She is under observation. Subah ko hi Kuch pata chalega.
Manik - Ok. You take care.
Nandini - Ya. I will. Thanks. And sorry Manik.
Manik - Sorry kyu?
Nandini - Bina bataye Jane ke liye.
Manik - It's Ok.
Nandini - Mai phone rakhti hoon . Bahut raat hogayi hai. Tum sojao.
Manik - Nandini listen. Wo... mai....
Nandini - Haan bolo.
Manik - Nahi Kuch nahi. Good Night.
Nandini - Bye. Good Night.
