When we got into studio B we lined up in front of Abby.
"Girls as you may have known I have been wanting to do some partner ballet. So I have invited some special guest to help you guys." Abby said happily.
All of us were smiling and happy to get to meet the special guest. However I knew Kendall was happy in a different way.
"Boys!" Abby called out.
The connecting door opened and the boys walked in. They were all wearing Red ALDC LA shirts with black shorts.
"Meet our guest, they're Straight outta Pittsburg." Abby said in a happy tone.
The boys walked into the room and stood up by Abby."
"Okay I'm going to pair you guys up according to height."
Abby looked at a clip board she was holding. "Boys go stand next to your partner when I call your name." Abby Began to read from a list.
"James and Mackenzie."
"Jack and Maddie."
"Nick and Katie."
"Thomas and Jojo."
"Kyle and Nia."
"Sam and Kendall."
"Okay that's it." Abby said looking up from the list.
By now all the boys were matched up with one of us. Nick had brown hair and blue eyes. He was kind of cute, but I couldn't.
"Okay, we're going to be working on Pas de deux's." Abby paused. "Anyone remember what a Pas de deux is?"
Kyle, Nia's partner raised his hand. "Yes?" Abby said pointing to Kyle.
"When two dancers, usually a female and a male dance together." Kyle said.
"Yes that is correct, which leads me to my next surprise." Abby said. "In three weeks the ALDC is going to be doing a ballet group routine." Everyone cheered and clapped excitedly.
"That being said for the next two weeks you guys will be taking a ballet class everyday leading up to the week the competition." Everyone cheered once again.
"Now hold on, there's a catch." Abby said. Everyone went silent again. "For the next two weeks we will be working on Pas de Deuxes specifically. I'm going to be picking the the best pair of partners and they will get to be featured in the group dance."
"So without further wait lets get started." Abby said happily.
The class was lots of fun, ballet was always one of my favorite style of dance aside from lyrical.
"Okay let's start working on some lifting!" Abby said excitedly.
"Girls I want you to go on pointé and do a arabesque." Abby paused while we followed her instructions. "Boys hold the girls by there upper leg and wrap your arms around their supporting leg." Abby instructed.
Nick lifted me up off the ground while I was in an arabesque. I had never danced like this with a boy before but I thought it was kind of fun being lifted of the ground.
"Okay boys walk in a circle once while holding your ballerina in the air."
Nick did as Abby told, as did the other boys.
"Boys slowly lower the girls to the ground." All of us girls were lowered to the ground.
After we did a few more lifts Abby dismissed us from the class. "Girls your dismissed you have an hour and a half of lunch go! Boys one of my instructors Miss. L will be giving you guys a Hip hop lesson in studio A."
Us girls hustled out of the room and ran into the den.
We quickly threw our regular clothes on over our ballet clothes, took off out tutu's and ballet shoes, then put on some normal shoes. After we were all dressed we ran outside of studio.
"Oh my gosh they are so cute!" Kendall said.
"Eww is that what we ran outside to do, talk about the boys!" Mackenzie said. Annoyed.
"Uhh duh." Maddie said as if it had been obvious.
"Okay this isn't happening I'm going to the mall." Mackenzie said stomping her feet.
"You can't go by yourself." I said chuckling.
"Take me away Nia!" Mackenzie said dramatically grabbing onto Nia's arm.
"Oh okay fine, Ill take you Kenz." Nia replied to Mackenzie.
"I'm coming too!" Jojo said catching up with Nia and Mackenzie.
Once Jojo, Nia, and Mackenzie started walking to the mall we continued to talk.
"Do you think Jack would ask me out?" Maddie asked.
"Guys! Snap out of it! They are only going to be here for three weeks, then they are headed back to Pittsburgh." I pointed out.
"What, your not the least bit interested in Nick?" Maddie asked me.
"Well I mean he's cute but, what the use if he's just going to leave in three weeks." I replied.
"But what if Abby has them stay here in LA?" Kendall said full of hope.
"And why would she do that?" I asked Kendall sarcastically.
"Katie's right, there just going go anyways, why bother." Maddie admitted.
"I guess you guys are right." Kendall said caving in.
"Okay now that we have this resolved this. Let's go catch up to Nia, Kenz, and Jojo at the mall." I said.
We started walking and eventually we found them in line at the salad place called 'Caesars'. Maddie, Kendall and I had eaten at on Monday.
Since there was nobody behind them we hopped in line with them.
"You guys better not be talking about boy still, right?" Mackenzie asked.
"No Kenz, I got them over it." I replied.
"Your my hero." Mackenzie laughing.
When it was out turn to order we all got Caesar salads and a smoothie.
We decided to get our salads to-go, and eat at the studio.
I drank my chocolate banana smoothie and chatted with the girls as we walked back to the studio.
When we got to the studio we went into the den and ate out salads.
"I am in love with this smoothie!" I said taking another sip.
"What flavor is it?" Maddie asked.
"Chocolate banana."
"That sound delicious I'll have to try that next time." Maddie replied. I nodded my head.
"Hey Kaite wanna come over today to do the Jojo's juice?" Jojo asked me.
"Oh, yeah sure! I can't wait!" I said excitedly.
I looked down to my phone to see I was getting a face time call from Liv.
I decided to answer.
"Hey!" Liv said when the call started.
"Hey, Did you just get home?" I asked her.
"It's actually ditch day so didn't go today." She said laughing. "Wait are you on you on a break or something?" Liv asked.
"Oh yeah I'm on lunch." I said holding up my smoothie and taking a sip.
"Who are you talking to?" Mackenzie asked.
"Oh it's just my friend Liv." I replied.
"Oh my gosh was that Mackenzie Ziegler?" Liv asked excitedly.
"Yup." Mackenzie said plopping down next to me.
"Oh my gosh hi!" Liv said extremely happily.
"Hey." Mackenzie said waving at the camera. Then she grabbed my smoothie from the other side of me and took a sip.
"Mmm that is good!" Mackenzie said putting the smoothie down.
"I told you." I said I said picking up the smoothie and taking a sip.
"Wow this seams so surreal and I'm just face timing you." Liv said.
"We're just normal people." Mackenzie said then laughed.
Gia peeked her head through the door we all looked to her, "Lunch break ends in 10 minutes get ready for jazz class." We nodded our heads then Gia left.
"Sorry Liv I got to go."
"That's okay we'll talk later, bye!" Liv replied.
"Bye!" I said and Mackenzie and I waved goodbye.
I pressed the end button and Mackenzie and I joined the other girls in getting ready.
I took off my sweatshirt and threw on my jazz shoes. Then I once again fixed my bun.
