"...see you soon" Erwin spoke cheerfully through the phone before placing it down on the kitchen table, me walking in from the front-room to see who it was he was talking to "So of my work colleges-" He beings to inform me of the phone call "-birthday is today and he invited us to his party"
"Party?" I question "You mean drinking and getting drunk?"
"What else would a man in his forty's want to do?"
"I don't know-"I said "-maybe sit on his rocking chair in the far corner of the room?" I teased. "But anyway-" I quickly say "-I had some work I needed to be done, I'm sorry..."
"That's fine" He says standing from his seat and hooking his arms over my shoulder "What work do you have?"
"Marco, the cashier of the shop, has gone to visit his parent's and Jean asked for me to take his place it the billing and to write out a report that need's to be sent off to some old-fart by tomorrow night, so I'm going to be very busy" Sigh he nods "But! That doesn't stop you from going you know? I'll be fine! At least that way we know there's one safe, sober person in the house" I tell him chuckling.
"Well... I wouldn't go that far to say you're safe..." Playfully hitting his forearm we chuckled it out "...are you sure? I don't mind stay-"
"Erwin, stop! You would allow me so it's fine for you to go, he's your friend after all, right?" Smiling Erwin kissed my forehead, grabbing his jacket and keys. "Have fun! Oh and bring back cake!"
"Che, you're like a hover when it come's to food" He says sarcastically "Anyhow, stay safe and I'll be back later, bye! Love you!"
"Have fun!" I shout before I hear the front door open "... and I love you too!"

~ Eren's POV ~
"Hey Eren..." Erwin whispered, me grunting when he place firm, large hand on my scabbing cuts line's down my stiff back "I'm going to clean your wounds now" He warns me "So be a good boy for me, yes?"
"Y-yes... Commander" I whimper out when a damp, cold flannel stroke's the dried up bloody wounds "I-it hurts" I cried out, eyes stapled shut with my teeth clamped out on the now bleeding lip with it's iron liquid running down my throat. "S-stop"
Erwin shushes me my using his free hand to cup my cheeks, while adding more pressure to the wounds making me let out a gargled scream. "It's OK. It's OK" Erwin reassures me "There we go... that wasn't bad now was it?" My backs a throbbing, burning pain which shoot's all the way down my spine "Such a good fiance" He compliments, me letting off a weak happy smile "Now, Levi will be back from the post-boxes any minute now so let's move you down to the basement yes?"
"B-basement Commander?" I squeal, flinching when he brushes my fringe out of my eyes, me scared for what he's planning.
"Don't you worry Eren" He says quietly "Because you were bad you're not allowed any food till I believe you deserve some but I think that's all the punishment you need... for now" A long breath of relief come's from me as my body relaxes "This is just seeing as Levi will be staying for a while and we couldn't be rude to our guest now, could we?"
"N-no... Commander, we couldn't" I murmur a silent tear falling freely from my still sore eyes.
"This is going to hurt, now" He tells me softly before slowly rolling me onto my back, myself opening my mouth to let off a deafening scream only for his hand's to quickly roll me back over, hand over my mouth stopping me "Do you think you could keep quiet for me?" He questions, tilting his head slightly, leaning side ways in the chair he's sat in beside's the bed.
Though he didn't need an answer when I let off a loud, baby cry, my nose's sniffling. Scrapping his chair back he randomly get's up and leaves, but I didn't really take note in what he was doing when I sunk my head deeper into the pillow as if it'd ease the pain.
"Right..." He speaks out reentering the room creeping over to my-side with a syringe filled with see-through liquid init. "...It'll only be a slight pinch... don't worry"
"D-dad?" My voice shook, seeing him hold what looked to be what I wish it wasn't... an object my dad once specialized in looking after. "P-please.. n-no!" I screamed attempting to shuffle myself as far away from him as I could.
"No Eren it's just me Erwin..." He told me, his hand pinning my shoulder down "...but..." But. But's are never good! "...this was something I found from your fathers." He informs me.
"H-how?" Something seemed to snapped within Erwin, something deep, something dangerous, something that could make a baby scream and cry and well... I guess I am that baby when the neck pain was soon to could;
'Slap'
The noise echoed off the walls and my voice would of also if it wasn't for the man which had slapped harshly on my reopened wound covered my mouth, the blood that stain his hand creaming my face the horrid crimson colour of red.
"I NEVER SAID YOU COULD TALK DID I?!" He hissed loudly but not enough for it to be heard at all points of the house. Helpless. Was what I felt when he growled at me. "Now, be quiet for me" He demands "Your father sent these down to me in the post-" He states "-now I don't know what they'll do or how long it takes but to help you - you see I'm doing this to help you - it will help you sleep and numb the pain or..." He says his hand retracting the needle from the point of my neck "...would you rather to feel the pain?"
"I-I'm sorry C-commander!" I plead out for forgiveness "T-that was stupid of me! T-thank you f-for helping me..."
"That's better, okay this will pinch just stay still OK?" He asks the tone of his voice changed almost automatically into a loving, calming voice like he was talking to a fragile child. "Sweet dream's Eren. I'll be back when you wake up" He coos in my ear.
The cold point of the needle pressing against the side of my neck at the tenderest of bits, sliding all the way through. I feel the metal hit a nerve, my breathing becoming heavier when he quickly pulls in out, the ticklish line's of blood sliding down my neck and onto the pillow from the puncture wound.
I feel the thick, cold liquid rush through all systems in my body, it slowly beginning to shut it down. Erwin might of not know what it did to my body but I knew all to well, when I was a bad boy for my dad. It burns all blood, the skin a boiling red colour showing whereabouts the drug has taken over my body.
It hit my feet first, them giving off a sharp pain me wincing when my feet felt as if they popped open and now are no longer there, just, numb. The same intense, teeth gritting pain shooting to my thighs, them falling limps themselves. And so one. From my fingers, to arms, to the lower part of my body all the way up to my chest.
By now my whole body was unresponsive. It was all a dead weight, limp, I was just a soul in an old cocoon. My mind was becoming one, becoming? I don't know, I really couldn't tell you. It was as if I'd forgotten how to think, think for myself or think at all.
My sight was darkening yet my eyes, I believe, were still open.
My face buried in the no longer felt pillow, my body feeling... like nothing. I let off a defeated, defenseless cry only for the noise to slur and my lips to being feeling swelled up. Lips none-moving, body no longer in control, I knew what was coming next and could only hold my breath to brace myself for it.
"Urgh!!" I groaned out.
I don't really know how to explain to you how it felt for my body to shut down.
Millions of needles piecing your back? Having a tattoo yet they're repeating it in the same place over and over again? Having a sun burn and it being slapped? Having a dog bite, it's teeth tearing through your flesh and ripping the whole layer of skin off?
There was no words for how I felt but then again no words were needed when the dark abyss engulfed me into a black pit of nothingness.

~ Levi's POV ~
Sliding in the red birthday letter Erwin asked me to post for his mother I sighed, huffing out puffs of the cold evening air. The sun hadn't fully gone down, it's orange ball half way past the houses roofs from the distance, it's left over light hidden behind the pink clouds.
Two school kids rode past me on there bikes, one dip-shit coming on bit to close making me yelp and hope away. Them both speeding away laughing. "Idiotic brats" I mutter under my breath hiding my chin into my zipped up, knee length coat.
A mother after my age ran out of the shop the opposite side of the road chasing after a mischievous looking four year old laughing loudly trying to escape her grip when she court him. Her not looking to unimpressed, not until the cuteness of the boy got to her and she laughed along with him.
Another sigh slipped from my cold chattering lips as I turn my back to the still laughing mother and son and head back to Erwin's. Creaking open the doors I caught Erwin twisting around to face me with a shocked, surprised look wash his red? hands under the sink.
"T-that was quick" He points out turning off the tap and getting rid of the red filthy water before drying his hands and asking for my coat which I hand over, him hanging it up for me. "The kettle's just boiled if you want a drink? Help yourself"
"Will do" Is all I say still trying to determined whether the red stuff what was on his hand was what I thought it was "Wo-would Eren like a drink?" I ask pouring the boiling water into my red mug of coffee, glancing over my shoulder to see his reaction when I spoke his name.
Yes, I might of listen about there love earlier but no one said I had to believe it right? To put it simply. I don't.
"H-he's..." Folding the towel he turned his back to me, placing it slowly, carefully as if the material would rip apart, away to then gentle close the draw. "...gone to a friends house" He tells me quickly, rather to quickly for my liking.
"Is that right?"
"Yes... yes it is. He told me one of his friends had a job recommended for him and is spending the night there" He says, no hint of a lie shown while he places him self down at the table taking a swig of his drink he'd seemed to of already made for himself.
"Who's his friend?" I question putting the kettle back on it's stand and holding my cup to my face blowing it "Why now? It's pretty late isn't it?" I pile on wanting the truth, the real truth.
"Umm... I don't know you see-" I roll my eyes. Here comes the big excuse for not knowing, "-he didn't tell me but if it's for work and all..." Thinking, myself knowing but the obvious look on his face, was making up a random name "...Marco, that's it now I remember! And the whole point of being there pretty late is because he got a random call from Marco about staying around so they've just picked him up"
"Right..." I say not trusting his words.
"Oh and you'll be having Eren's room tonight and depending if he stays at his 'friends' house or not you'll be there. But we'll worry about that when it get's closer to the time" He says standing and going to the sink pouring away the rest of his unwanted drink. Yawning he stretches and pats my shoulder walking out the room "I'm heading bed now" He states "Don't be afraid to come in if you need anything. Anything at all~"
"Fuck-off and wank yourself off!" I snap my voice one of disgust "I'd never... never do anything like that to you or any over fucking men for that matter of fact!"
"Sure Levi~" He speaks winking at me, me cringing until his feet left off to the distance to his room.
"What a prick, thinking I'd do that to him... Ew!" I fake puke and shiver at the thought. Gulping down the rest of my, cooled down, drink I place it on the counter beside's the sink "Marco hey? I'll give 'em a ring tomorrow" I tell myself smirking;
"I'll catch you out Erwin... you just wait"
