I woke up in the morning to see the bed empty I got up and went into the kitchen and seen king sitting at the kitchen table holding a picture I went over towards him and looked over his shoulder to see a picture of king and I when we were little on my mothers lap I smiled at the memories and lean my head on his " I miss her to king " he looked up at me and smiled softly " i know she wasn't my biological mother but she was the closest thing I had to a real mother" I hugged his neck and stared at the picture a little longer till he put it face down and turned to look at me "Kyra where was you last night " I rolled my eyes at his sudden mood change" king I'm not dealing with this right now I have to wake my grandmother up to give her her pills " I moved away around him and started walking near her room till I felt his arms go around my waist and pull me against his front "Kyra I'm serious your like my little sister I don't want anything happening to you" I rolled my eyes at the sister comment "OK king but the thing is i am not your sister and we are not related at all so stop saying that shit " I pulled my body away trying to get out of his grip but he just pulled me more into him gasp at how close we were and how good it felt he leaned down till I felt his warm breath on my ear " quit with your attitude Kyra last time I'm going tell you that OK " I nodded a little speechless he let me go and got the beeping phone out of his pants pocket I sighed in relief and headed towards my grandmothers room and woke her up she looked at me strangely " who are you and where's Donald ?" I ignored her questions and grabbed her many bottles of pills off her dresser I opened each one of them and placed them into her hand and grabbed her cup of water and placed it into her other hand "take them please " she looked at me and then down at the pills then at me again then took them and swallowed them " OK grandma I be back to give you something to eat OK?" She nodded slowly look at me strangely I smile and left out of the kitchen and seen king in the the fridge I cursed silently knowing I was going get in trouble I back up slowly to my room"Kyra bring your ass back here"I signed and went back out to him he looked at me angrily" what I tell Kyra I told you to call me when ever there is something y'all need just call me and I'll get it for you right?" I nodded my head " look I got to go with jay some where real quick but take this money and go food shopping " he gave me a look before putting a stack of twenties in my hand I was going give it back but the look on his face said not to I sighed and put it my bra he kissed my cheek and left out the door I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and put some jean shorts on with a white shirt and my old white converses and left out the door making sure the neighbors knew that I was leaving so they go watch my grandmother I went down the flight of stairs but I seen Andre lean against the wall smoking a cigarette I sighed and tried to walk by but he caught my arm and pulled me back" where you going baby " I rolled and tries to pull my arm from him " kings coming to pick me up" he laughed and pulled closer " why you got to lie for baby king left not to long ago with that fine ass girl what's her name again oh yeah tiara" I mad that king lied to my face tears start form in my eyes " ah baby don't cry king don't deserve your fine ass anyways let me make you feel better " he started to pull me into his house I started to kick and scream to get out of his hold but he just picked me up and bought me into his house onto his dust ass couch I he laid me down and that gave me the change to kick him in the balls he groaned and fell onto the couch I got up and ran out of his house and outside of the building while running out of the building I ran into a hard chest I looked up and seen damon " what's wrong "
