Manik and Nandini jumped the backyard wall of the hostel building.
Nandini was laughing all this while.
Manik - Kya hua. Has kyu rahi ho.
Nandini controlling her laughter -
You know Manik this is the first time I have sneaed out of the hostel. And believe it or not. Bahut maza aaraha hai.
Manik smiled seeing her happiness.
Nandini - Thanks Manik.
Manik - Ab mere sath rahoge to ye sab to hoga hi. Come let's go.
Saying this Manik took Nandini along with her to his car which was parked at some distance.
Manik opened the car door and Nandini sat in the passenger seat and Manik took the drivers seat.
Manik started the car and they drove away.
Nandini - But Manik hum kaha jaa rahe hai.
Manik - Relax Nandini. Let me concentrate on driving.
Nandini kept quiet for sometime and again said-
Nandini - Manik bolo na kaha le jarahe ho mujhe.
Manik - Date pe.
Nandini - What???
Manik - Haan Dinner date pe.. why are you so shocked?
Nandini - Kya bol rahe ho Manik.
Manik - Wahi bol raha hu Jo tum sun rahi ho.
Nandini - Manik mai tumhari girl friend nahi hu. How can we go on a date.
Manik sighed and said- Ok fine ..... tum bhi na. Waise naam Jo bhi do but Matlab to khana khane se hai na.
Nandini - Hmmm....
Both of them looked at each other and then started to laugh.
Nandini - On a serious note bolo na Manik kaha jarahe hai hum log.
Manik - Yaar kitne sawal puchti ho tum. Hum restaurant jarahe hai dinner ke liye.
Nandini saw a pain Puri stall at the road side.
Nandini - Manik stop stop stop.......
Manik applied brakes with a jerk.
Manik - Kya hua Nandini. Tumne kyu roka mujhe.
Nandini - Manik restaurant me to tum har baat khate hoge. Ek baar mere style ka dinner bhi karke dekho.
Manik - Matlab.
Nandini - Tum Chalo mere sath batati hu.
Saying this she took him to the pani Puri stall.
Manik made a face and said- Nandini are you serious hum yahan khane wale hai.
Nandini - Manik I m sure you will love it. Ek baar try to karke dekho.
Manik - Ok fine....
Nandini to the stall owner- Bhaiyya do plate pani Puri dena.
Stall owner- Ji Madamji.
Nandini - Aur jab tak hum rukne ko na bole tab tak pani Puri serve karte rehna.
S.O.- theek hai Madam Ji.
Nandini - Manik let's have a competition. Dekhte hai kaun zyada pani Puri khata hai.
Manik - Ok .
Nandini - is baat tum mujhse nahi jeet sakte Manik.
Manik - Dekhte hai.....
Manik ate the first plate of pani Puri and started coughing as it was too spicy.
Manik - Pani pani.....
Nandini laughed and gave him water to drink.
Nandini - kya hua Manik ek me hi haar maan gaye.
Manik - Huhh...... no never. Bhaiyya ek aur plate dena.
Nandini - Manik Agar tumhe nahi khana to its Ok. Let's eat something else.
Manik - No.
Nandini on seeing Manik's state reduced her speed of eating.
Manik had tears in his eyes due to the spiciness.
He gulped down the pani Puri one after another .
Finally Nandini said- Bhaiyya bas mera to pet bhargaya.
Manik - So finally. I win again. Wohooooo......
Nandini - Yes you win. Ab chale.
Nandini to the stall owner- Bhaiyya kitne paise hue .
Stall owner- 400 rs .
Nandini searched for money but she didn't bring along money with her while coming from the hostel.
Manik - Wait tum kyu dogi paise. The treat is on me.
Saying this he took out a 500 rupee note and gave it to the stall owner.
Manik - Chalo Nandini let's go.
Nandini - Ok Chalo.
With this Manik went away.
S.O.- Madamji ek minute.
Nandini - Haan Bhaiyyaji boliye.
S.O. - Madamji aap sahab se jaan boijh kar hari ho na. Humne Dekha apko.
Nandini smiled and said- Haan. Apne Dekha na wo kitni mushkil se kha raha tha. Agar mai jeet jati to usey bura Lagta na.
S.O.- Madamji aap bahut pyar karti ho na sahab se.
Nandini's eyes widened on hearing this.
Nandini - Nahi Bhaiyya aisa kuch nahi hai.
S.O.- Madamji humne bahut se ladka ladki ko Dekha hai Yaha pe. But ap jitni caring koi nahi thi. Mano ya na mano aap pyar to karti ho sahab se.
In the meantime, in Manik's car, Manik drank full bottle of water yet his mouth was burning.
Manik shouted from a distance- Nandini kya kar rahi ho tum . Chalo jaldi.
Nandini - Haan Haan aarahi hu.
Nandini to S.O.- Chalti hu Bhaiyya. Thanks.
S.O. - Bhagwaan apki Jodi salamat rakhe.
Nandini didn't say anything and went away.
Manik - Kya baatein kar rahi thi itni der se.
Nandini - Kuch nahi bas aise hi. Manik tum theek ho na. Kya hua tumhe.
Manik - Nahi mujhe kya hoga. Kuch bhi nahi.
Nandini understood that it was the effect of pani Puri.
Nandini - Manik Chalo na icecream khate hai.
Manik - Ice cream????
Nandini - Haan Chalo jaldi. Mujhe abhi khani hai icecream.
Manik - Ok.
Manik started his car and drove away.
He spotted an icecream Parlour and parked the car .
Manik - Chalo Madam ice cream khate hai.
Nandini - Haan Chalo.
Manik ordered for vanilla icecream and asked Nandini which flavour would she like to have.
Nandini - Butterscotch.(Guys Butterscotch is my personal favourite that's why I have selected it as Nandini's favourite).
Both had the icecream.
Manik was now feeling much better.
Manik - Nandini you are a lifesaver seriously.
Nandini asked innocently- But Maine kya kiya.
Manik - Kuch nahi. Chalein.....
Nandini - Haan Chalo.
With this both of them drove away from there.
