"tsubski honoka is a cutie, isn't she?" my friend, jeongguk, nudged.
i nodded silently. a small smile appeared on my face but i tried not to let jeongguk see it. everthing about tsubaki honoka is cute. her short black hair. her gradient lips that are nice and rosy in the center. those two dimple lines that appear on the top of her cheek when she smiles...
"i heard from a little bird that she likes you, too."
"HUH? i-i never said that i liked her..."
"you think i don't notice you writing her name in your notebook during lunch like a 9 year-old girl? i bet if i open your first page it'll read park honoka. or tsubaki jimin."
i cluched my backpack close to my chest. no way was i going to let jeongguk see my notebook.
"and i heard she's gonna ask you out."
"n-now you're just talking nonsense."
"oh really? well then tell me why honoka is walking this way right now. gtg."
jeongguk left and i was standing frozen in my spot as honoka took small steps towards me. she's so cute.
she smiled and her dimples showed. i could only faintly hear her sweet voice talking as i was too distracted by her mere presence. but one phrase specifically took me out of my trance.
"...would you go out with me?"
