Kabanata 12| Hera
I hold my breath at saka hinigpitan ang hawak ko sa strap ng shoulder bag na dala ko. For how many years... why now?
"This is a mistake. I shouldn't come here. I-I have to go." I quickly said, I nearly stumble on my feet when Zeus suddenly spoke.
"Running away again? Hmm. Don't you think you owe me an explanation after all, you are my wife." I almost choke in my own words. Wow, just wow. After how many years siya pa ang may ganang manumbat, I turn around and look at him directly in his lightning green eyes, the looks that full of hatred, fury and rage. How dare him, I runaway from him because it's for the best... our marriage is full of toxic and lies. The last time I saw him is when he is with a very stunning woman. I made a disgusting snort.
"Just fuck off, Jayce" I deadpanned. Lalo lang ako nairita when he find it amusing. What a Jerk. His eyes flickered with amusement then he grins. "Hmm, Jayce... Oh, how I miss your voice" he said wickedly to me while he keeps on playing a pen on his fingers. I didn't react, he's still the same Zeus that I know. I think that fact will never change. I didn't say anything I just stare at him, and while looking at him I can't help but to check him out. He looks so mature now, his hair is now in clean cut his eyes is now so prominent. He grows some stubbles, and I guess he's working out, from the looks of his built he grows some-- no not just some-- he grows an edible muscle (wait, what? Why did I use the word edible? Not that I'm going to eat him) Ugh, I mentally face palm. My mind is in haywire... I sighed and then I spoke to him.
"What do you want?" I bravely ask.
He didn't answer me, he just continue staring at me. "How are you, Hera?" I shivered when he mentioned my name, damn, he's still have that same affect on me, No! This is not good... and again I mentally slap myself.
"Don't beat around the bush Zeus, just tell me what you want."
"Hmm, Feisty eh?" he stop playing on the pen and he put it in his desk. He arch his brow then smile evilly at me -- I swear his smile is so evil -- "How are you? Where do you live now? I want to see it." I look at him like he had grown another head. I gaped, "No, fucking hell no" at ano? If he sees my son, he's going to get him from me, I know Zeus... he maybe a charming man but he can be ruthless too. I was about to get out from his office when suddenly he pinned me against the wall. I gasped then start struggling.
"Why? Are you with someone? Some douche bag I may add." he said with so much anger. It's like his words are full of venom. I glared at him, at saka pilit na kumakawala sa kaniya. Damn, I can smell his manly scent. Shit, I'm in so much trouble. I gathered my self then answered him, "What the fuck are you talking about?"
"Stop pretending Hera, tell me, are you living with someone, just fucking tell me and I kill him" I just look at him at gaped like an idiot face.
