Tom's POV
"See ya mate!" I say goodbye to my friends as I walk out of the school gates.
It's the last day of school! We have two weeks off for Christmas - I can't wait! Yes, I'm seventeen, but I'm still looking forward to Christmas.
However, it's our first Christmas without mum or dad - so that will be difficult.
Currently, I'm walking to the middle school, (which is not far from high school) to pick up Darcy and Lucy. Luke and Leo had to go to a load of conferences and meetings today at our mum and dad's business. Harry went over to a mates house after school.
It takes me ten minutes to get there, I soon spot Darcy and Lucy waiting outside the gates.
As I walk up to the gates, in tight jeans, a ti shirt, and a Jack Wills jumper; all eyes look my way, middle school girls literally push their chests out. I'm used to it...What? I'm hot! And very good looking!
"Hey, you alright girls?" I walk up to my sisters, and ignore all the stares.
"Hey," Lucy says and Darcy smiles at me.
"Let's go," I grin.
"I can't wait for Christmas!" Darcy says as we walk together.
"Me too, but it will be hard though," Lucy frowns and looks down, I give her hand a squeeze.
"Yeah," Darcy sighs.
I decide to change the subject - I can't have my lil' girls sad!
"How about we go grab a drink at Starbucks, on the way home? Luke won't know," I say, (Luke tries to keep their sugary intake to a minimum) slinging an arm over each of them.
"Ooh ok!" Darcy smiles.
"Sure," Lucy giggles.
"That's better," I say.
We take a detour into town and go into Starbucks.
"What do you two want?" I ask as I pull out my wallet.
"Hot chocolate please," Lucy says.
"Mocha please," Darcy adds.
"Sure," I reply.
"Hi, can I have one small hot chocolate, one small mocha and a medium mocha please?" I ask the server as we get to the front of the queue.
"Lovely, anything else?" She asks, flattering her eyelids at me.
"No that will be it," I say and pass her the money.
"Takeaway or eat in?" She questions.
"Takeaway please," I reply.
We get our drinks and walk home.
"So, what do you want to do tonight?" I ask.
"Movie?" Lucy says.
"Sure," Darcy replies.
My phone buzzes and I get a text from Luke:
'Tom - did you get the twins alright? We won't be back until ten ish, we have got two more meetings to attend. Make sure twins are in bed by nine, and make sandwiches for tea - I don't trust you with an oven!
Luke'
"I just got a text from Luke, and he said that they won't be back until ten."
"Oh," Lucy frowns slightly.
"But we can still have fun, yeah?" I say and wrap my arm around Lucy.
"Defo," Darcy says.
As we all go inside and chill, I text Luke back:
'Luke - yep, we are all chilling at home, don't worry, I will make sandwiches and the twins will be in bed by nine! Stop worrying!
Tom'
Luke always worries too much! Or maybe it's because he thinks I'm irresponsible! I can be irresponsible with girls and school, but never my with little sisters! I'm like, the opposite - I'm very overprotective!
Three hours later
We've just had tea, (it's half six) I made salad and ham sandwiches with crisps and carrot sticks - hey don't laugh, I'm not the best cook!
Darcy and Lucy are in the living room picking a movie, while I stack the plates in the dishwasher - Luke would not be pleased to find a messy kitchen when he comes back!
"Ready girlies?" I say, walking into the living room.
"Yep," Lucy and Darcy come and sit next to me and we watch the movie.
When it's like eight, they both start to doze off, bless them. They're obviously knackered from their first school term!
I switch to normal tv when the film finishes, the girls are completely asleep!
As it reaches nine, I take them up to bed, carrying them upstairs, one at a time. They are so tiny - you wouldn't believe they were eleven!
Then I watch a old horror film, with popcorn, to pass the time before the others get back.
"Hey, you alright?" Luke says, as him and Leo come into the living room, looking knackered.
"Yeah, all fine. Twins are in bed. How were your meetings? Long day?" I ask, as they sit on the other couch.
"Yeah, it was a long day," Leo sighs. "But worth it and all."
"Did the twins go to bed alright?" Luke enquires, you can tell the twins are Luke's first priority!
"Yeah, they were tired."
"I'm hitting the hay now too," Leo goes upstairs.
Me and Luke follow soon afterwards.
Luke's POV
I wake up around nine ish, tired from the meetings yesterday - it was a long day!
I'm looking forward to seeing my little sisters, I didn't see them at all yesterday, as me and Leo went early and came back late.
It's the Christmas holidays, and I'm looking forward to chilling and spending time with my siblings, but, it's the first Christmas without my parents; and their sudden death is still fresh, it was July when they got killed.
Sighing, I have a quick shower and throw on some jeans, a ti shirt and a jumper.
I walk downstairs, into the kitchen, and I see Lucy working hard on school work, even though it's the holidays!
She looks so cute, in her lamb onzie, and her blonde ringlets cascading down her back.
"Hey baby girl!" I walk over and hug her back, wrapping my arms around her waist.
"Hi Lukey!" She swivels round and hugs me.
"Let's put those books away, eh? It's the Christmas holidays!" I let go and grab all her books.
"No, Luke, I wanna finish it!"
"Too bad!" I sass back, and put the books on the top of the fridge, where she can't reach them.
"Not fair!" She wines. "Can you make me some breakfast, pretty please?"
"Sure kiddo, what do you want?" I pick her up from where she was sat and I put her on the counter.
"Pancakes?" She asks, fluttering her big blue eyes.
"Did I just hear the word pancakes?" Harry walks in, with his stay over bag over his shoulder.
"Yes!" Lucy giggles.
"How was your night?" I ask, as Harry gets a glass of orange juice from the fridge.
"Good, yeah, had a laugh with my mates, and we stayed over at Blake's house. How did the meetings go yesterday?"
"Good, tiring but they needed to be done," I replied. "Right, let's make some pancakes!"
I make chocolate chip pancakes, with a separate bowl of strawberries, raspberries and blueberries to add.
Soon, everyone comes down, as they smell cooking pancakes.
We all chat and sit down together, with the holidays right ahead of us!
"How about we go for a walk?" Leo says.
"Yeah, sure." I reply.
"But it's freezing!" Tom pouts.
"Put a coat on then!" Darcy grins, sticking her tongue out at him.
We all laugh, including Tom.
"Right, twins go get dressed!" I say as we finish our pancakes, everyone else is dressed but them.
Darcy's POV
I go upstairs and get dressed in jeans, a vest, a top and my favourite winter jumper.
"Ready?" Lu asks.
"Yep! Let's go!" I reply.
We both walk downstairs, and see all our bros putting on their coats.
We put on our winter coats too, and Luke and Leo made us put on wooly gloves and beanies as well.
"Let's go," Luke says, once we are all ready.
As we set off, I put my hand immediately into Leo's hand, as I've hardly seen him today.
"You alright baby girl?" He looks down at me.
"Yeah," I smile.
We have a long family walk, going around frosty fields, laughing and talking.
We get to the top of a field and all look down, at the greenland beneath us.
"Let's race!" Tom smirks evilly, "downhill!"
"That's not fair, we will never keep up with you guys!" Lucy exclaims, frowning, leaning on Tom.
"You can go on our backs!" Tom laughs, and throws Lucy on his back, a piggy back.
"Darcy, climb on me!" I bend down, and Darcy giggles, climbing onto me.
"READY. SET. GO!" Luke shouts.
All of us sprint, downhill, Leo goes so fast, Luke and Harry are in front, but Leo and Tom are neck and neck with me and Lucy on their backs.
"I'M BEATING YOU!" Tom yells, as we continue sprinting.
"NO YOU'RE NOT! COME ON LEO! FASTER!" I yell, laughing.
The frosty wind is whistling through my hair at the sheer speed.
In the end, Luke wins, then Harry, then Leo and Tom come joint third.
I slide of his back and lie on the ground, everyone is getting their breath back. It was a long sprint!
"Phew!" Tom gasps.
"That was so fun!" Lucy laughs, sitting down next to me.
All our bros are standing up.
After five minutes, Luke says, "c'mon you two! We are going now!"
He pulls both of us up.
"Let's go home, and warm up!" Harry says.
"Great idea!" Tom grins.
"Cool, let's go," Leo adds.
We all go home, cold yet exhilarated!
We have hot soup and toast for lunch, all dressed in warm clothes.
"Let's play a game!" Harry says, as we all chill out in the living room.
"What kinda game?" Luke raises his eyebrows.
"Truth or dare!" I yell.
"Sure! Good one," Harry nods.
"Go on then," Leo nods.
"Whose going first?" Tom asks.
"Me!" I say. "Harry - truth or dare?"
"Dare," he grins.
"Ok, I dare you to eat a roar egg!" I smirk.
"YES!" Tom laughs.
"Ew! No!" Harry pouts.
"Forfeit?" Lucy giggles.
"No, coz the Walker forfeits are the worst, I'll do it," Harry gulps.
It's true - our forfeits are evil!
We all go into the kitchen, and watch Harry eat a roar egg.
"Yuck!" Lucy frowns in disgust.
"Your evil Darcy," Luke laughs.
"What can I say?!" I giggle.
In the end, we play loads of rounds of truth or dare.
Hours later, we are all watching a Christmas movie. I'm snuggled up on Tom and Harry, and Lucy is on Leo's lap with Luke next to them.
Lucy's POV
Wow! We've had three days of holidays so far, and it's been a blast! We've been ice skating, went to the cinema, went out for long walks, played games, just fun stuff!
Anything to keep our minds off mum and dad never having Christmas with us ever again...
Me and Darcy are so lucky, we're lucky to have Luke, Leo, Tom and Harry. Luke because, he's always so strong, and he will always help us and be a shoulder to cry on - I love it that he's always so protective. Leo because, like Luke, he's so strong, and he's just calm and level headed, he will always listen to our problems and be the peacemaker. Tom because, he always manages to make us laugh, and cheer us up, whenever we are upset. He is very overprotective, like Luke. Harry because, like Leo, he's calm and chilled out, and he's also really sporty and will always kick a football around with us!
"LUCY! We are going to put the Christmas tree up!" Luke yells from downstairs.
I know, somehow, Christmas will be alright.

Sorry for the long wait -bear with me! I had a very busy school week, and lots of study!
