Fawn's POV
I sighed and looked around, bored as ever. I picked at my food with my fork and looked at my iPad.
Nothing new...
"Er...Hi?" Napatingala ako sa nagsalita at nakita ang isang babae na chinita at mahaba ang buhok.
"Hi." I smiled and locked the screen of my iPad.
"May I help you?" Tanong ko kaya napangiti siya.
"Uh..maybe. I was wondering if you know where National Bookstore is?" Tanong niya, mukhang hindi niya alam ang mga lugar dito. Nasa mall kasi ako eh.
"Yeah, sa may second floor lang yan." Sagot ko and she seemed to relax a bit.
"Could you maybe help me get there? I just moved here and my cousin is working there so I want to go and visit her." She said rambling a bit, then she blushed.
"Sure you probably don't care about that." Sabi pa niya, I smiled at her at umiling ng konti. Nilagay ko yung gamit ko sa bag ko at dahan-dahang tumayo. Kinuha ko yung crutches ko at napatingin naman siya dun pero buti na lang hindi na nagsalita.
"It's okay. I'll walk you there if you want me to?" I offered and she just nodded.
"So yeah, I'm Chienna by the way." She said at tumango ako.
"I'm Fawn" I introduced myself and she smiled.
"I love your name. It fits you perfectly." Sabi niya kaya napataas ako ng kilay but not in a maldita way.
"Why do you say that?." Tanong ko dahil feeling ko hindi siya ganun ka nakakaintindi ng tagalog.
"It's just..you look like a cute person and that's exactly what your name is. It's cute and quite unique." She said and we just walked slowly, me with very jello legs and her bouncing in her steps. We probably looked quite funny.
Habang naglalakad kami nakwento niya na rin sa akin na galing pala siyang states kaya hindi siya ganun kagaling magtagalog pero nakakintindi naman daw ito.
"Here you go" I smiled, pointing up at a sign. Nandito na kasi kami.
"Thank you so much. I hope I'll see you again" Sabi niya at kinawayan ako bago pumasok. I looked around for a bit at nagkibit balikat na lang bago pumasok sa loob.
Wala masyadong tao sa loob,kaya nagikot muna ako at naghanap ng magandang mababasa. Don't judge me but I decided to read these Fifty Shades books. People say they are good, even though there are some rather inappropriate stuff in there.
I placed 9 books in the counter atsaka ko lang napansin yung babae na nandun. Nanlaki ang mata niya ng makita ako at mabilis na iniscan yung mga libro.
"That'll be 2,250 please." She said smiling kindly, but the excitement was very evident on her face.
Inabot ko na sakanya yung bayad bago magtanong.
"Meron bang mauupuan dito, where I can just read?"Tanong ko at nautal pa siya bago tumango.
"T-this way." She smiled nervously at naunang maglakad sa akin.
Naupo na ko atsaka lang siya nag-tanong.
"Can I have a picture with you please?" Nahihiya niyang tanong kaya nginitian ko siya.
"Sure." Sabi ko at tumawag naman siya ng pwedeng magpicture at pagbalik niya kasama niya si Chienna.
"Fawn?" She looked at me at mukhang nagtataka siya.
"Hi, Chienna" Nginitian ko siya at yung isang babae halos himatayin na.
"Kilala mo si Fawn Bernardo?!" Bulong niya pero narinig ko naman. Kaya natawa ako.
"Um..kinda she walked me here."Sagot ni Chienna
"Hindi mo siya kilala as in kilala noh?" Tanong sa kanya nung isa, and rolled her eyes.
"No Sky, I don't. Should I?" Tanong ni Chienna pabalik.
"Hintay ka diyan" Sabi ni Sky daw at tumakbo paalis.
"Sorry about that, She's Julia Sky my cousin" Sabi ni Chienna.
"It's quite alright. I'm used to it" I waved it off.
"See,Chie! These are Fawn's books." Sky came back, yun na lang tawag ko sa kanya. Hawak niya yung dalawang libro ko.
Kinuha ni Chienna yung dalawang libro atsaka niya binasa yung nasa likod. Pagkatapos niya basahin, mukhang nagustuhan niya naman.
"You're an author?" Tanong niya and ngumiti ako bago tumango.
"Yeah, its nothing fancy. Just a story I started on in the beginning of college then decided to published a year and a half ago." I said like its nothing big. It's nothing big actually.
"That's bullshit. Yan ang most sold na libro naming dito. Both boys and girls come in everyday at binibili nila yang libro mo." Sky gushed and I blushed a bit.
"I love these books. I'm just waiting for the day na gawin rin nilang movies to." She ranted on and on after that, nakalimutan niya na ata yung tungkol sa picture.
"Oh at super saya kong makita ka na nakakalakad na after the surgery.Goodness I cried a river after the story. Not only that super fan ako ni Daniel. Mas bagay naman kayo kesa kay Kathryn." And that's when Chienna's eyes widened. (Sa story lang po iyon. Kathniel for the win pa rin sa real life!)
"OH MY GOD! You're Padilla's girl?" I bit the inside of my cheek and nodded, slowly sitting down again.
"Yeah, that would be me" I confirmed.
"You're a lot nicer than I thought celebrities were." Sabi ni Chienna kaya binatukan siya ni Sky.
Natawa na lang ako at nilabas ang iPad ko. I placed my phone on the table at pagbukas ko pa lang ng iPad tumunog ang phone ko.

Napangiti ako sa text at nagreply agad.
Me:
Nasa bookstore ako, nakikinig sa magpinsan na nag-aasaran. It's quite interesting actually. I miss you too though. The bed is so cold without you at night. xx
I then looked up at the two girls who were now silent.
"Was that Daniel?" Tanong ni Chienna, na mukhang excited.
"Uhm..maybe" I said and the two of them giggled.
"Hey, I could really use some company. All my friends are out of the country right now. Would you mind joining me here?" I asked at parang nagliwanag ang mga mata nila. They didn't hesitate to accept the offer.
And that's how I got two pretty friends.
