-Next Morning-
Taraji POV
Me and Terrence woke up in each others arms this morning. I think that the gym was closed because it was sunday, which I was sad and thankful for...because I actually felt like going today. I turned over and saw terrence smiling in his sleep, I wonder what he was thinking about. I smiled to myself as I got up out of the bed. I felt him resist as bit but his hand fell off of my side and i was free. Even though the gym was closed, i still wanted to work out..so i went outside to run. I left the house quietly so that i don't disturb terrence. Of course you may be thinking why I'm leaving a sleeping man inside my home alone, but with terrence...just..the way he is....i knew he wouldn't take or do anything... there's nothing for him to take anyways.

I ran into the trail on the woods by my house and played my music. It was a bit cool this morning but it didn't bother me. It's a shame that i didn't wake up terrence, because i know he likes exercising. I didn't understand what was up with us...we're so odd...with eachother. I mean we keep saying that we don't like eachother but...i don't know...it's weird. I mean think about it: we shop for eachother, we sleep together...he fought for me...FOR ME. Not for anyone else...but he did it to protect me. And when we were looking into eachothers eyes It's like..everything stops and just all things are shut out...like it's just us. I mean i don't think I'm in love with the man...just emotionally confused i guess. Terrence ssys we're not dating...but what everyone else says is totally different. I mean I've never had a guy who took care of me and gave me medicine when i was drunk, who beat up a stupid ex brutally for me, who takes me out and makes sure i have a good time, who carries me in his arms whenever he needs too (or even wants to), a man who holds my hand and doesn't judge me for a single thing i tell him, a man who for some reason hates when i bite my lip...but besides the lip biting, he's a really good friend...any other woman would be lucky to have him. It's strange how we even kiss eachother on the cheek and sleep in eachothers arms with no problem. I just don't understand how a person would want to treat someone like me like this...an unattractive, bitchy woman...i mean who would want to be so kind and caring to someone like that? I know i wouldn't. It's like at first..we couldn't stand the sight of eachother, but now...it's like..seeing eachother brightens up our days...and makes us feel as if everything is ok. I guess we're bestfriends...but certainly not lovers for sure. I exited the path and went around another time, usually i do it about 2 or even 3 times...but this time i needed to do more..because i was thinking so much. Natasha thinks we're dating, and i don't know why she does, but at the same time i understand. I don't know if i should tell him to distance himself from me or to just deal with it. I guess I'll deal with it. Ugh...this stuff is complicated.
As soon i made it back to the house, i quickly put my stuff away and got in the shower. Once i stepped out i saw terrence walking downstairs. I was there in my towel standing right there. I gasped and he did too. "Relax..at least you arent naked" he said smiling. "But still..." i told him holding the towel closed to me. "Fine..I'll turn around. I don't know why i want to look at you anyways.." he said turning away. "Shut up." i said rolling my eyes. I walked to my drawer and got my clothes and went back into the bathroom. "You can turn back around now." i told him from out of the bathroom. "Nah I'm good." he said. I sighed and walked out fully dressed.

"Ha! Are you wearing a onesie? You look like a kid!" terrence shouted shaking his head. "And you look like a crackhead but i don't say anything to you." i said trying not to laugh. He narrowed his eyes at me and i rolled mine. He started walking towards me and i stood up to him and put my fist up. "Damn what the hell!" he shouted backing away. "Yeah you didn't think i was tough did you?" i asked him grinning. "I never said that" he told me. "But you act like it!" i shouted punching him and running. "Hey what the?! You better get back here!" he shouted laughing as he chased me. I ran downstairs and went into my basement as he chased me. I was in a onesie so of course i was sliding all over the place. "Got ya...!" terrence shouted coming around a corner and scaring me. He picked me up bridal style and tossed me on a couch as we laughed. He started tickling me and there was a knock on the door. "Natasha." me and terrence both said at the same time laughing. Terrence picked me up off of the couch and stood me up. I walked over to the door and he stopped me. "Wait...you think i can use your bathroom right quick?" he asked me. "Nah." i told him. "What! C'mon i gotta go!" he shouted holding his hand in front of him trying to hold his pee. "Fine...down the hall to the right" i told him playfully and laughing as he smiled. "Thanks..." he said kissing my forehead and running down the hall. "You better not leave the seat up either!" i shouted down the hall. I opened the door and there stod natasha smiling. "Morning.." he told me. "Morning.." i said back smiling. "Of course terrence is here.." she said and I nodded. "Why the hell is your ass wearing a onesie?" she asked me. "Because they're comfortable the hell!" i told her putting the hood on. She walked in and sat on the couch, turning the t.v on. "Man...i wanna do something today...i was thinking paintball...but that might be too childish...maybe we could go to this beach party my cousins having..that sounds fun.." said natasha. "Yeah that sounds fun for you...because my body is beyond ugly.." i told natasha. "Girl no it's not. If i was a lesbian you would be in my bed all day everyday." she said as we laughed and i playfully shoved her. Terrence walked out of the bathroom and snuck up on us. I screamed and slapped his arm. "Ow...man you hit hard!" shouted terrence holding his arm. "Stop scaring me then.." I told him smiling. "Hey you wanna go to this beach party that my cousins hosting?" natasha asked terrence. "Hey i would love to go...what about you onesie long stockings?" terrence asked me as i hit him again. "No..because I'm not wearing a bikini around you." i told him. "You wore lingerie around me." terrence said as natasha raised an eyebrow. "Well that was because i had to come out of the dressing room in Victoria's secret because the one i had on didn't have a price." i told him. "But still...and you wear one when we're at swim class at the gym." he told me. "Well i have to. It's not by choice." i told him. "Eh..suit yourself, but i'm going." said terrence. "Have fun.." i told terrence. "Awe come on...have fun today...for me.." natasha told me and in rolled my eyes but smiled. "Fine.." i said and terrence and natasha smiled at me. I laid down comepletely on the couch and let out a loud breath. "Man i don't feel like getting up...I'm too comfortable." i said stretching. "Ugh come on you big baby.." said terrence as he sighed snd picked me up bridal style taking me to my room. He went back downstairs while i got something to wear. I swear he's annoying but he's so fun to be around too. I put on a jumpsuit and put on my swimsuit underneath. I came down stairs and i saw terrence smiling.
"You look good.." said terrence grabbing my hand and spinning me as we laughed. "Thanks.." i told him. "No problem" he told me. We all left the house and went to terrences house so he could get his things. He came outside straight up shirtless and in his swim trunks.

When i he walked out i couldn't help but notice his V. It was a deep one too. I'm not saying that to be seductive...but it just was fun to look at i guess. He got in the car and smiled at me. "Like it?" he asked me. "I mean no, if you're trying to attract every hoe on the beach" i said playfully and we laughed. "Then maybe i should go change.." he told me but natasha started driving. "Too late now." she said as we drove. Zuri was in the passenger seat and me and terrence were in the back. I got on my phone and i bit my lip unknowingly. I saw terrence look around and then he started to stare. "What?" i asked him raising an eyebrow. "That." he said putting his thumb on my bottom lip looking at me seriously. "Oh sorry..." i told him as i stopped. He let it go and shook his head as we pulled up to the beach. It looked alot of fun too.
We got out of the car and i went into a tent to change while terrence waited for me. I walked out in my bikini shyly and he gasped.

"So...what do You think?" i asked him. "Um...um..good...you look good.." he said as i saw him start to sweat. "Is it that hot outside? You're already sweating?" i asked him. "Um..yeah..mhm that's defidently why.." he said as he turned around and fell into a beach chair. He got up and chuckled a bit looking away from me as if he was embarrassed. "You are so crazy you know that?" i asked him as i laughed and we went over to find natasha and zuri. "Ooh girl you look goood!" said natasha as i smiled shyly. "You really think so?" i asked looking down. "Well terrence what do you think?" she asked him. "It's none of his business how i loo-are you ok?" i asked him as he started sweating uncontrollably again. "Yeah...yeah I'm just fine." he said looking away as he turned away and bumped into some guys with some drinks. "My bad.." he said picking up their stuff and giving it back to them. I started laughing and smiling. "He's just doing that on purpose to make me laugh." i told natasha and zuri. "I thought i was the clumsy one?" i asked terrence. "Well i guess you rubbed off on me.." he told me smiling. "Come on..wanna head to the bar for something? I'll make sure It's something light.." terrence said smiling at me. I smiled and flipped my hair. "They're on me.." he told me grinning as i looked down. "Well isn't that awfully nice of you.." i said to him as he playfully rolled his eyes, grabbing my hand and walking with me towards the bar. "Two bahama mamas, please." said terrence ordering them. "I love these...how'd you know?" i asked him looking up at him. "I didn't...i guess i can just read you.." said terrence playfully nudging me. We got our drinks and i took a long sip. "Mmm this is amazing" i said as terrence hugged me. The song light it up (remix) -major lazer started playing. "Terrence should we dance?" i asked him. "I don't dance..." she shouted back over the loud music. "Guess I'll be dancing by myself then" i said said smiling and slowly walking away trying to see if he would change his mind. "I guess so." he said as he continued sipping his drink. Then a guy came up to me smiling. "Hey..you look like you need someone to talk to...wanna dance with me?" he asked me. Before i could answer terrence walked up behind me and put his arms around my waist. "Thanks, but we were already planning to." said terrence as the guy shrugged and walked off looking confused. "But i thought you said you didn't dance-that changes today." he said grabbing my hand and taking me to the dance floor. I laughed as he started moving to the song. "You're not even terrible.." i told him smiling. "Maybe you should join in and maybe it'll be better." he told me as i smiled and joined in.
"See this is fun!" i shouted over the music. Terrence smiled at me grabbed my sides. I laughed as he backed away to do a solo by himself. He picked me up slightly from the ground by my sides and we laughed. "I don't know why but you're so hilarious.." i said to terrence. "You are too..." he said as he grabbed hands. I turned around and put my back to terrences chest as i continued to dance. I wasn't trying to be sexual...just have fun. I smiled as he grabbed my hands and put his face into my neck. When the song was over we got another round of bahama mamas. I sat down on a beach chair and got on my phone as i saw terrence watching me. "What?" i asked looking up at him. He turned and looked at natasha and zuri in the water and looked at me slyly. "What- oh hell no I'm not getting in the-terrence!" i shouted as he tossed my phone on natashas seat and picked my up tossing my over his shoulder and running towards the water. I started smacking him on the back and he yelped. "Stop hitting me woman!" he shouted as i laughed at him. "It's so funny when i hit you.." i told him as we approached the water. "You're about to regret doing that anyways.." he said as he tossed me into the water. "Oh my gosh that's cold!" i shouted coming up. "No it's not you big baby ." he said splashing me. "Oh wait..you were right it's not cold.." i said laughing and splashing him back. "Oh i see that you wanna have another splash fight again huh?" he asked as i playfully screamed. He splashed so much water on me that i could hardly breath. "You jerk!" i shouted seriously as i charged at him and he picked me up and spun me. I bit my lip unknowingly and he stopped and looked at me. He slowly put me down and wrapped his arms around my waist as i looked up at him and put my hands on his chest "there it is again" he said putting his fingers on it again. "Terrence i don't want people to look...i never displayed public affection before...like this.." i told him. "Wait..you've never done something like this with a past boyfriend?" he asked me. I bit my lip from embarrassment and lowered my head, slowly looking up at him. "I told you that they all just wanted one thing from me.." i told him. He sighed and cupped my face. "And this is public affection?" he asked seriously. "Well...i honestly have no idea...never did it so.." i told him lowering my head. He made me look up at him and he pulled me closer to him. "Well that's sad..what's with you and these terrible relationships?" he asked me. "I don't know..it's like the bad relationships find me...i know that the perfect guy for me doesn't exsist...so.." i told him. "The perfect guy probably does exsist...need a perfect girl for a perfect guy...i don't think you'll have much trouble.." he told me and i smiled.
"I want to be happy. But i don't think i know how to anymore." i told him as i sighed. "Aren't you happy right now?" he asked me. "Yeah...i am..I'm sort of always happy around you...you're just...a person who makes me happy...when it comes to fun....yeah." i told him smiling. "Thank you...i try.." he said playfully as i shoved him and we laughed. I bit my lip unknowingly and his breath shifted. "I never heard a guy do that whenever i do this before." i told him looking into his eyes. "Well maybe I'm not like other guys.." he told me. "I see that.." i told him as i grinned. "I'm glad that i don't feel uncomfortable to tell you anything.." he told me. "What...you have something to tell me?" i asked him. "Well...i don't know.." he told me. I raised and eyebrow and smiled at him. "I know that we haven't known eachother for that long but..i don't know why any guy would like to treat you wrong.." he said grinning. "Maybe this is why?" i said backing away and looking at my body sadly. He pulled me back to him and shook his head. "I thought they wanted you for your body.." he said to me. "Some did..but most wanted me for sex...people thought that i was a whore because they wanted that from me." i told him. "Well are you?" he asked me and i punched his arm. "Relax, relax I'm kidding.." he said laughing and pulling me back to him as i let out a reluctant chuckle. "I'm not one.." i said flipping my hair. "Trust me i know i know.." he said smiling. "How do you know?" i asked him. "Because whores carry themselves and they're lifestyles differently than you do. Look at you, a doctor...who got accepted into harvard but didn't go for some odd reason...who has a huge amazing house and dresses amazingly, and who has the most amazing bestfriends on the planet" he told me. "Who's the second one?" i asked him raising an eyebrow. "Me of course!" he said smiling at me and putting his forehead to mine. "So you ARE my bestfriend huh?" i asked him. "Don't you need to be friends with someone for years to become bestfriends?" i asked him. "Not for us..all this time i spent with you is enough.." he told me and i smiled. "Aww...well You're my bestfriend too.." i told him. "But i still Don't get it...why doesn't a guy want you for your mind, body, and soul?" he asked me. "Why doesn't a woman want you for yours?" i asked him. "I have no idea...but the real question is for you.." he told me. "Maybe they don't because my mind, soul, and especially body is no good. That's what all the other guys said. I'm just not good enough for anyone ok...I'm just ugl-"STOP SAYING THAT SHIT ABOUT YOURSELF BECAUSE YOU AND YOUR BODY ARE BEAUTIFUL AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT!" he shouted at me seriously, bringing my face closer to his as we looked into eachothers eyes. I froze and just stared at him. "D-did you just...call me...beautiful?" i asked him and he shrugged and nodded. "And...my body?" i asked him shocked. He repeated his reaction and i bit my lip from embarrassment as i felt myself turning red. I looked up at him smiling shyly.
I turned away from him covering my face. I was blushing really hard this time. I can't believe he just said that to me...no ones ever said that to me before...never. He tried to move my hands but i kept my face covered. I turned completely away and uncovered myself, trying not to giggle but it was so hard. I let out a small one and my face immediately turned serious. What if he was saying this stuff just to get in my head? He turned me back around and kissed my cheek smiling at me. I couldn't help but smile back but it faded again. "You mean that?" i asked him. "Of course i do...i absolutely mean it." he told me. "Yeah i doubt that you just said that...i Don't think you actually just said that...maybe I'm imagining this.." i said shaking my head. "You're not. You are...beautiful. And you body is beautiful. Heard me now?" he asked me and i looked shocked. I tried not to smile again but it was hard again. "Ooh i see a smile, she's gonna smile. I don't know why you're holding it in you know you want too." he teased. i shrugged and he hugged me as i smiled and he kissed my cheek. "Ooh it's getting late..maybe we should go back up on the shore..i think they're having a campfire too..." he said as i nodded and he grabbed my hand taking my over there. We grabbed our towels and dried ourselves off and i changed into my other outfit that i wore over the swimsuit. Terrence stayed in his but put on a jacket he brought. They had blankets and stuff and we all crowded around the fire.
Each campfire came with a bed and a tent, along with champagne...this was quiete a party. Me and terrence were in one together and we layed in the bed. I sat up and laid back on terrence chest as his arms wrapped around me and we held hands. We watched the fire in silence for awhile just listening to the rest of the party in the distance and the crackle of the fire. "Hey...the tent came with all the smore equipment, and the steel so called sticks." terrence said picking up all of the stuff. "S'more time!" he shouted as he sat up and i laughed. We each started roasting the marshmallows and mine was golden brown while terrences was dark. "Ha you burned it! I shouted playfully. "No...i like them like this..they taste the best.." he said making his s'more. "Eww.." i said as i made mine and we ate. We laid back down as we ate them. "Terrence when you said that stuff about me and my body earlier...was that like a friendly compliment...or...." i said awkwardly. "Whatever you want it to be.." he told me. "I don't know what i want it to be honestly.." i told him. It was silent again and i started shaking a bit. "You ok?..your cold?" he asked me and i shrugged. He gave me his hoodie and i smiled but it faded. "You ok?" he asked me. "I'm not feeling well..i think I'm coming down with something.." i told him as i started coughing and sneezing. He sighed sadly and went to get natasha and zuri. "Guys let's get her home she said that she's not feeling well..." he said picking me up bridal style and taking me to the car. We drove home and terrence took me into my house and layed me in my bed. "I think i have the flu...I'm having all of the symptoms.." i told him drousily. That's how you get when you're sick. He put his hand on my forehead and neck checking my temperature. "Damn you're burning up!" he shouted shocked. "You got a-yeah it's in the bathroom" i said cutting him off already knowing what he was talking about. He put the metal part underneath my tongue and he was shocked. "Damn, 104!" he shouted as he went down stairs and got me some water. "What caused this?" he asked me. "I have no idea..i don't have any signs.." i told him. He sighed and got in the bed with me and wrapping his arms around me. "Terrence you'll get sick-"i could care less...i wanna be here with you.." he told me smiling. I smiled as he kissed my cheek as i fell asleep immediately.
