"When?" I interrogated, desperately praying for the talk to be a different day. I dreaded speaking with Kespia about our differences and what was ethically wrong with each of us.

"Now."

_____

Approximately after he said that, I heard a powerful, feminine voice call, "Kylo Ren! My session isn't done yet!"

I stood on my tiptoes and looked over his shoulder. Surely enough, it was Kespia. I felt my cheeks heat up due to my internal rising anger.

Kylo Ren hurriedly bent down, picked up his helmet, and pulled it over his head. He then turned to face her. She was walking towards us quickly with a mock-innocent countenance. Kespia looked vaguely confused, but I knew it was just a mask. Twelve hours ago, she had threatened to kill me -- I knew she wasn't innocent.

I abstained from glaring at her when she came to a stop directly in front of Kylo Ren. Kespia flashed him the most bashful, wondering facial expression ever. She folded her hands in front of her and cocked her head to the side. "Are we going to finish?" She curiously asked.

Alright, I can't help glaring. This is too annoying, I thought with irritation. I allowed my mouth to sink into a scowl and my eyes to narrow. I folded my arms across my chest and rose my eyebrow in an almost challenging manner towards her. I didn't care. She was making me angry.

"Kespia, we are going to discontinue today's session. We will resume combat where we left off in the morning. Right now, we are going to have a small conference." Kylo Ren ordered. His voice had resumed it's threatening, automated echo that it naturally had behind his mask.

She began to pout. "Alright." Kespia reluctantly agreed.

I rolled my eyes at her fake, girly, bimbo demeanor. She was possibly the most annoying person I had ever come into contact with (General Hux was another close contender).

"We'll hold the conference in the training arena." Kylo Ren announced, side-stepping Kespia and beginning to stride towards the doors. Kespia and I both followed him obediently.

We all entered the training arena for the third time that day. The table was out of the floor and we each took a seat. Kespia and I sat at opposite ends of the table, and Kylo Ren positioned himself in a seat that was between us.

"We're here today to discuss some very important matters that concerns both of you," Kylo Ren began, glancing at both of us, "I've observed some very aggressive tension between the two of you, and I don't like it. You both need to tell the truth about this situation right now. Tell me what is going on, and this can be over. We can forget it. This uneasiness needs to be dissolved."

I looked across the table at Kespia, who was staring somberly at Kylo Ren. "I don't know what you're talking about. Nira and I get along perfectly fine!" She argued in her fake, dainty, sweet voice.

I shook my head and let out a sharp laugh. Kespia glanced up at me and raised an eyebrow in confusion; the fact that she was outright lying to both of us enraged me.

"He knows about the threats, Kespia." I stated venomously. I hated the sound of her name in my mouth. I decided then that I would try to never say it again.

The innocent look fell off of her face, and what replaced it was a menacing, sullen glare.

"Oh." Her voice had lost all essence of softness. Her tone was dark, frustrated, and angry.

Kylo Ren nodded. "Explain the reasoning behind those threats, Kespia." He ordered. Kespia shrunk away from his general direction, glanced up at him, and then focused on me.

"Ever since I came here, you have been nothing but -- "

"Kind. Outgoing. Helpful." I interrupted, letting sarcasm seep into my words. I was so furious that I couldn't keep it out. She was going to accuse me of something! I hadn't done anything!

"Nira -- " Kespia attempted to speak again, but she was interrupted a second time -- this time, by Kylo Ren.

"I see what the problem is here. You two have a strange rivalry for no reason. There is no need to discuss your dissimilarities further, because we are ending them right now. I am going to set down a few rules, and explain them, and you are both going to obediently follow them. There will certainly be consequences if you don't." Kylo Ren said. I listened intently.

"You are not to show any signs of aggression towards each other, whether it be vocally, physically, mentally, or by any other means. You are to trust each other and work together compatibly. You are to forget your differences. You are to help each other and accept each other." He stated.

So those are the rules, I thought, and I know I'll be able to follow them. The question is, will she?

Kylo Ren paused and let us both mull over the proposed and unchangeable rules.

"There are several reasons as to why these rules are going to be so heavily enforced. Both of you are going to be at The First Order for the rest of your lives. Both of you are going to rise through the government at rapid levels, and you need to be able to work together at any place in the hierarchy. Both of you are going to see each other in training every single morning. Both of you are on the same side! You need to be able to trust each other. These rules are in the best interests of the organization, and if you can't agree to them then we can easily banish you." Kylo Ren threatened. I knew that he was only referring to Kespia when he talked about banishing people -- I was sure that he knew I would abide by his rules flawlessly.

"Nira, maybe you could act as a mentor of sorts for Kespia. You both went through the same beginner's process in The First Order, and you both know how hard it is to adjust to it. Possibly you could help her through some of the difficulties." He offered. I nodded as if I were agreeing, but honestly, I was repulsed by the idea of constantly aiding Kespia. However, if I had to do it, then I would -- only reluctantly.

I still, of course, didn't trust Kespia in the slightest -- not even after the 'pep talk' that Kylo Ren gave us. I couldn't forget the mentally whispered intimidation tactics that she had placed in my mind just that morning.

I stood up and walked towards her. Kespia reclined away from me, but upon seeing that I wasn't going to hurt her, she stood up and faced me. I stuck out my hand, and she shook it.

"The matter is settled, then." Kylo Ren dispersed the conference after we released hands. I nodded.

Kespia wordlessly left the room. I could tell that she was furious, but quite honestly, I didn't care.

I'll just ignore her whenever possible. If she ever tries to attack me, I will electrocute her and then report her. I am officially back together with Kylo Ren, so I have no more worries about her trying to take him from me. I have complete faith in Kylo Ren's loyalty to me. I will be able to deal with her.

Kylo Ren took off his mask after she left. He turned to me, and it was a relief to see his true form once again. He walked towards me and gently placed his hands on my shoulders. My eyes traveled everyone on his head; I looked at his soft black hair, his thick pink lips, his perfect nose, and his calming brown eyes.

"I missed you, Nira. I am never letting our relationship go again." He promised, looking deeply into my eyes with his warm brown ones.

I nodded. "I missed you too." I whispered. My heart fluttered in my chest and I was just so happy to be with Kylo Ren again.

He pulled me in close to his body and I let my eyelids slide shut as he wrapped his arms around me. I let my head rest onto his chest plate and my arms hang limply at my sides. One of his hands grazed up and down my back reassuringly. For several moments, it was just us. Just me, enveloped in his arms, trying to locate Kylo Ren's heartbeat underneath all of his armor. I tried my best to hear it and discover it, but the armor was too thick.

I took a slow, deep breath and tried to permanently install the feeling of being wrapped up in his arms in my mind. I never wanted to forget his strength, his warmness, his authority, or his care.

Suddenly, a loud beeping sounded. I jumped, and it continued in a rhythmic pattern.

"What is that?" I asked frantically, looking around for the source of the sound. Kylo Ren was putting on his helmet. He then pulled out a hologram display device and set it on the table, answering my question through his actions instead of his words. He pressed a button, and the blue hologram was sent into the air above the small device. The beeping resided.

It was General Hux. He looked disheveled. Kylo Ren folded his arms and stared at the redhead through the hologram.

"What do you want?" Kylo Ren asked monotonously, but anything with a brain could've been able to sense the annoyance underneath his toneless words.

"Kylo Ren, it's an emergency. The force fields are down."

Kylo Ren leaned forward and pressed his palms onto the table. "What?" He asked in a lethal tone.

General Hux shook his head, gulped nervously, and continued. "Someone stole the power box. It's gone, and we know where it went, but it's gone and the force fields are completely down."

"Don't we have extras?!" Kylo Ren exclaimed furiously. I took a step back in case he had a sudden outburst of power.

General Hux shook his head. "We're sending a fleet out within the next few minutes, and we need you in the hangar before takeoff."

Kylo Ren nodded in confirmation to Hux and stowed away the device in his utility belt without another word. "Follow me, Nira." He instructed, beginning to quickly stride towards the door.

"Am I coming with you on the expedition?" I questioned warily. I wasn't sure if I wanted to or not yet, for varying reasons.

"Yes." Kylo Ren answered as if the answer were obvious. I struggled to catch up to him.

I didn't know if it was a good thing or a bad thing that I was coming on the expedition to rescue my own powers. I guess I was going to find out very soon.

Author's Note

The past few days have been so busy, holy crap. This sucks. I just want to sit at home and write chapters upon chapters upon chapters.

My teacher in AP Biology has given me three days to learn an entire unit. Hopefully you can understand why I haven't been able to update, hahaha!

Fun story! Ever since school started, this girl has been relentlessly checking out and hitting on my boyfriend! She has also been mean to some of my friends, calling them ugly, overweight, and disproportionate. This girl has ALSO talked a ton of crap about me behind my back and called me mean names without me even doing anything to her!

Today, I told her a*s off. I tweeted something directly at her, and then she complained about me tweeting at her instead of just talking to her on Facebook, so I got her number and then told her off! WOOO! I feel great!

INTENSE PART IN THE STORY COMING UP AHHHA *screaming*

Okay, that's all! See you later :)
