I slept like a baby for six hours.
I opened my eyes and squinted slightly as the light seeped through my eyes. The pain was now gone along with the headache.
"Arghh." I let out a muffled groan as I stretched my sore body.
"Good afternoon sleeping lady who got her period today!" Todd walked in with cheerful expression.
I blushed beet red as the memories from earlier came rushing by.
"Do you really have to bring that up?" I croaked out.
Todd handed me a glass of water from the desk,"Of course blue! As your bestfriend, It's my job to embarrass you ninety nine percent of the time." Todd stated flicking a few locks out of his face.
I raised a brow,"Since when did we become bestfriend?" I voiced out.
"Since we made that deal." Todd answered with 'Duh' tone.
I cracked a grin,"If you say so." I answered.
Todd pushed the covers slightly before taking a seat next to me on the bed and started scratching his feet under the covers.
"Are you okay?" Gone was his teasing tone and was now replaced by a serious one.
I let out a small smile,"I don't know to be honest," Fidgeting with Alec's shirt,"Last night Alec told me I mean a lot to him and he was sorry for being a dick these past few days." I said.
"I think my brain is kinda hectic because of all these events that are happening lately." I continued looking at Todd.
"Pshh. You're doing great if you ask me." Todd said giving me a smile.
"Thanks. How did you know I'm here by the way?" I asked curiously.
"Alec informed me actually." Todd said.
"He did?" I asked surprised.
"Yeaah." He said turning his head slightly to my direction.
I was about to ask another question when Alec entered the room in a rush.
"Why was the door closed? What are you two doing? And why is there a frog sitting on my bed? Why are you're hands under the covers?" Alec asked as looked at Todd and me suspiciously.
"Frog on the bed?" I asked the same time Todd said,"I'm scratching my feet." Raising his hands in a 'surrender' way.
Alec ignored my question,"Get out tadpole." He said to Todd.
Ohhh. I get it!
Todd rolled his eyes,"It's not like I'm gonna steal her away from you." Todd grumbled his curses as he marched his away outside.
I looked at Alec who was blushing slightly. He was scratching the back of his neck with a sheepish look.
"You're cute when you're jealous." I stated giggling.
"Who? Me? Cute? Oh hell no!" He said shaking his head profusely.
"Oh yes you are." I said moving forward to pinch his cheek.
He stood up fast,"Let's go eat yeah? The boys cooked lunch, well kind of." He mumbled the last part.
"Kind of?" I asked as we made our way out of the room.
"They decided to cook homemade pizza and kinda failed but tadpole here, told the boys they couldn't cook shit before kicking them out of the kitchen and cooked it himself." He explained half amused-annoyed.
I let out a small giggle at boys,"They must've looked adorable with flour on their faces."
Alec didn't reply and instead continued our way through the hallway. There were some pictures of Alec and his family but what caught my eye was a little boy maybe a few years younger like Alec.
Who could he be?
We were greeted by the boys munching happily on their pizza while watching some random football with a nowhere to be seen Todd.
"Took you long enough." Chase commented grinning.
I rolled my eyes but gave a smile.
"We didn't make out you idiot." Alec replied shaking his head.
Chase chuckled along with the boys while I try my best to reduce the flaming on my cheeks.
"Didn't Ark come back?" Directing my attention to an eating Val.
His face looked like he was caught in deer headlights,"Why are you asking me that?" He asked.
"I dunno, Maybe because you took her on a date and there was some possibility that something sparked and she gave her number to you so that you could call her when you want to go out again." I answered sarcastically.
"She asked me on a date by the way and I don't have her number." He said.
"It's still the same!" I said losing my patience.
"Woah! Control your woman Alec." He said.
"Uhm. Ark texted me earlier saying her stepmother grounded her for not doing her household chores last night." Jayden piped in awkwardly with a blush.
I let out a surprised gasp before smiling knowingly,"Okaaay." I said dragging the letter 'a'
"There are some pizza left on the kitchen table." Todd said entering the living room.
"Where you've been?" I asked arching my brows.
"Bathroom. Annie called me." He answered turning his eyes towards Alec on the word 'called me."
Memories of Alec and Annie laughing together and getting all sweet flashed in mind.
Jealousy is not good with period.
I let out a small huff which Val noticed and gave me a look saying 'I know you're jealous' which I replied with a roll of my eyes before making my way to the kitchen not waiting if Alec was behind me.
True to Todd's word, I was greeted by a hot steaming pizza. My stomach rumbles hungrily and I wasted no time on taking a seat and getting a slice of my own.
I was happily munching when Alec entered the kitchen and took a seat next to me. My mood dampened a bit and I huff.
"Does it taste good?" Alec asked taking my left hand and playing with my fingers.
'Of course it tasted good! It's pizza for skittle's sake.' I thought.
Instead of replying, I pulled my hand gently and ignored him.
He sighed before raking his hand through his hair making it more messier.
"This is about annie? Isn't it?" He asked looking at me with his gorgeous blue eyes.
I ignored him again and fumbled for another slice and started munching,
angrily might I add.
"Annie and Todd are my childhood friends. They know my past and Annie decided to help me with the situation on keeping you safe." He confessed.
I made no comment but my ears perked up slightly at his confession.
"I'm sorry. It was another plan of mine. I wanted you to stay away from me." He mumbled looking at the ground.
I looked at him and my heart softened at the sight. He looked so trouble with a frown and brows furrowed.
I sighed,"It's okay. I just kinda got jealous when I remember those memories of you and Annie laughing together." I answered turning my attention to the pizza.
Alec's hand gently forced my chin to look at him. I held my breath when my eyes looked into his. It was full of sincerity, worry, and something I couldn't decipher.
Alec smiled at my reaction before pushing a strand of hair away from my face. He looked at me before his eyes zeroed on my lips.
He started to lean in and my heart started beating rapidly. My mind going frenzy on the thought of Alec kissing me.
What would it be like? Would his lips be soft? Or rough?
Oh god. Alec's gonna be my first kiss.
Just a few more inches and our lips would meet.
I heard Valentino letting out a girly squeal.
"Oh my god! Guyss! They're about to kiss! In the kitchen!" Valentino's voiced rang in my eyes and I let out a surprised gasp before pushing Alec away from me.
Alec's eyes widened in suprise and stood up fast but failed and instead landed on the floor with a groan.
I heard loud footsteps making it's way to kitchen accompanied by hoots and yells about 'Alec getting it in the kitchen' or 'Ellie and Alec doing the dirty on the counter'
My faced burned in embarassment as the boys entered the kitchen with excited look but instead bursted out laughing at the sight.
I was sitting on the chair with my messy bun and red face while Alec is on the floor groaning in pain.
"I swear we didn't kiss!" I said shaking my head side to side.
Alec groaned and muttered,"What the hell Val?!"
The boys continued laughing and even Todd was looking amused.
Looking at their faces happily, A warm feeling flooded through me knowing they're a part of my life now.
Grinning at them with a red face. I turned my attention down to Alec and bursted laughing also finding the situation humorous now.
That ladies and gentlemen is how I spent my sunday afternoon with the bad boys.
