He looks up at me and runs his hands through his perfect shaggy hair.
"It's my fault." He shrugs.
"It's both of ours." I say.
"I'll get a better job. Ill do whatever it takes Stel." He says rubbing my arm. I don't stop him.
Im pregnant. At 18. My mom is going to kill me.
"Stella?" Taylor calls out.
She walks in my room to see me and Harry staring at each other blankly.
"Oh god."
Taylor says while staring too.
"She's...pregnant." Harry says blinking rapidly.
"You need to go Harry." Taylor says standing next to me.
"Me? Why? And leave her here scared?" He says scrunching his nose.
"Yes. She needs to think." Taylor speaks for me.
"About what? The fact that she's pregnant with my baby?" Harry says stepping closer to Taylor.
"Leave now Harry." I agree with Taylor.
He leaves with out saying a word.
My first instinct is to chase him, but for what? To beg him to stay here with me after he got me pregnant?
"You okay?" Taylor says rubbing my shoulder.
"No." I say dropping the pregnancy test on the floor.
Shit. My life is over.
"Your mom isn't coming back just yet. She went to go run some more errands in Albany. Her boss called. I just went with her to the bank really fast." She says lessening my worry.
"Taylor Im scared." I admit to her.
"Me too." Taylor says giving me a hug.
Where do I go from here? What should I do?
I barely started my life as an adult and now I have to worry about my son or daughter soon? This is insane.
She warms me up a cup of green tea and we talk for the rest of the day about anything but my pregnancy.
I fell asleep fully clothed on the living room couch right when you walk in.
I wake up the next morning still where I was last at.
"Mom?" I say looking around.
"Good afternoon Stella!" she says with a smile dancing on her face.
"What are you doing?" I ask.
"Making me a mate breakfast. Want some?" She says.
"No I'm fine."
"What's today?" I ask.
"Saturday." she says rolling her eyes as if I can't see her.
I stay there staring at the ceiling hoping it would fall and wake me up from my hideous dream about me being pregnant.
"Your phone rang a few times." She says.
I reach in my pocket to see a whole bunches of messages from a random number. I read them and I can tell it's Harry.
How sad? We're going to have a kid together and I don't even have his number. Great.
I delete them without even reading them. I don't feel like dealing with any miscommunication right now.
I sit up and see Taylor coming out of the bathroom.
"Your still here?" I ask scratching my head.
"I came here earlier to help your mom with a few things." She says sitting down next to me.
"Oh okay." I say looking down. My heart is still racing.
