"Stella, look who stopped by." My mom says while pointing to Harry.
"It's your friend from that day, remember?"
"Yeah. I think I remember a 'friend'." I quote with my fingers.
"Oh shit." Taylor says under her breath.
This seriously can't be happening. Not now. Me and Taylor go to my room after confirming it with my mom.
"Taylor! He's in my house with my mom!" I recap myself.
"Lets just get your pee on this stick then we can know what to do next." She suggests.
I nod and run to my bathroom.
I try to pee on the stick but I can't. Not because I don't want to know the results, but because I have nothing to pee out.
"Taylor I can't pee." I say with embarrassment.
"I'll get you some water to chug." she offers.
She runs to the kitchen and back not talking to my mom and Harry at all. She might be just as nervous as I am.
I drink the water and then I begin to pee on it.
"Im going to go stall your mom and Harry. Or how about I just get your mom or Harry to leave? "She says with one foot out the door.
"Whatever works." I say.
Shit. This is real. I could be pregnant with Harrys baby.
I immediately sit up and put my pants on and sit on my bed with the stick in my hand.
Im panting so hard I think my mom could hear me from the other room.
I stand up and turn to face Harry who silently entered my room.
"You can't just walk in here!" I say in shock to Harry trying to hide the pregnancy test.
"Where's Taylor and my mom?" I ask.
"They left to go do something." He says walking toward me.
"Okay." I say looking at him.
"Do you remember that night Stella?" he says.
Of course I remember that night. I lost my virginity that night how could I not remember? I don't say that out loud, I just think it.
"Yes..." I say still backing up from Harry.
"We...We..." Harry stutters.
"We didn't use protection." I finish his sentence aloud.
"How did you know?" He says lifting both eyebrows.
I stay silent hoping he would say something.
I can't believe this is real.
"Are you-" He says when I interrupt him by holding out the pregnancy test.
We both stay silent and look at it to see what it says. Both of us look at the test in awe and fear. It says positive.
