Why hello there. Here you are, in this humongous building which is a school that is meant for the "rich" and "elegant", while you're just here, being one of those cliché moments where an average person and the opposite of "rich" got a scholar to a luxurious and famous school. Anyways, moving on...
You took the train to school for almost half an hour, since the school you've enrolled in is really huge and the campus of the school is so wide that it'll take you 10 minutes just to get inside the school building. This explains why you woke up 2 hours early.
Finally, you were now facing the school building and looked up to see the name sign of the school. Seoul Royal Academy.
I guess it's the start of another stress of studying... especially that I'm a Top 1 student.
Yes. You're the Top 1 student ever since you enrolled in this academy last year. Well, since you're mostly focused on your future and goals that you're working hard and for your family to be proud.
"Hi, hoe!" Your best friend suddenly tackled you from behind and giggled.
She's Jhona. Jhona Colliett. One with long brown wavy hair, fair complexion, and hazel colored eyes. She's the daughter of a princess from some region from a different country you forgot and she's the only friend that you ever had. She is friendly and nice. Well, that's what you thought. Because once you two were close, you could also see her craziness and weirdness even if she is a royal, and you like her unique personality.
"Yah! You scared me. I really didn't noticed your height. No wonder you're perfect with Jimin." You joked as she shrugged in response.
Well, she is shorter than you, that's why you tease her about it, but she got used to it. Plus, she got a crush on Jimin, who is also known as one of the hottest royal students in the academy.
"I also like the pairing name though. Shorty x Shorty." You added and gave out a small laugh.
"Yah! Shut your mouth, hoe." She whined as her cheeks were blushing red.
"Arasseo. Arraseo... shorty." You replied as you stopped teasing her.
"Whatever, do you know about the top hottest guys in this school?" She asked as she squealed.
"Me, Myself, and I." You replied.
"Dream on, ____. It's Jeon Jungkook and Kim Taehyung!" She said as she squealed.
Ew...
"But Jimin is hotter. For me." She added.
"I object the first two." You said.
"I see you still don't like them." She said as she let out a soft giggle.
I don't like them. I hate them.
*School bell rings*
"Oh my goodness! Let's go!" Jhona said as the two of you proceeded to your classrooms.
As the both of you entered the classroom, both of you searched for your student numbers on the list to find your seats. Well, since the teacher already arranged the seating arrangement for the first day of school.
So I'm at seat #22... You thought.
"Aw... I got seat #5 and it's at the very first row..." Jhona whined.
"Ey! Jimin, your seat is #6!" A guy, probably Jimin's friend, said.
"Nevermind, I love seat #5." She suddenly smiled filled with full of joy like she's at the gates of Heaven.
"Yah! Snap out of it!" You hit her head gently to snap her out of her thoughts.
"Let's just sit down on our seats. We have like a minute before the teacher gets here." You reminded as you looked at your watch to check the time.
"Arasseo, Mrs. Top 1." She chuckled as the both of you went back to your seats.
"Good morning, students." A teacher entered the classroom with proper posture and greeted with a formal voice.
"Good morning, ma'am." You all greeted formally in return.
"I'm Mrs. Armellia, your adviser for the whole school year. Yes, I'm a full-fledged French but I teached here in Korea for almost 15 years. Don't worry, students. I can speak Korean well and I'll be your French Language class teacher. Bonjour!" She introduced.
Alright then...
'I wonder who's my seatmate though...' You thought as you wondered.
"Mr. Kim Taehyung, you're late on the first day of school." Mrs. Armellia said as she looked at him entering the room with a serious look on her face.
Oh my god...
"So? Better late than never." He said like it's not a big of a deal as he just went to find his seat.
"You better be early next time, Mr. Kim. You're at seat #21." She replied and with that, Taehyung went to his seat.
Then that means...
"Oh no..." You muttered.
Why of all seats, he's assigned beside me? You thought as you groaned.
"Oh, why hello there, Mrs. Top 1." He greeted as he looked at you while letting out a smirk. A devilish smirk.
"It's not nice meeting you, jerk." You replied as you showed an unwilling smile.
*Flashback*
-Last year-
In the third semester of your study in school, you are once again the Top 1 student. Your grades were remarkable and you were still undefeated.
"Congratulations, ____!" Jhona congratulated you as she let out a smile, feeling proud.
"Ah, thank you." You replied as you scratched the back of your head.
"Congratulations, ____." You look to see Taehyung going towards you as he let out a charming smile that all the girls can't resist.
"T-Thank you..." You suddenly blushed and glanced your eyes away from him while your hands were intertwined in front.
You had a crush on him, since he had a handsome face and a kind attitude. Well, that's what you thought.
It all began when he told you to go to the school park. You went there and as soon as you were already there, you were suddenly splashed with water from the water hose and poured flour on you. All of the students then looked at you and some of them started laughing.
"Wow, I can't believe you fell for it." Taehyung suddenly stood in front of me with his arms crossed as he let out a chuckle.
What...
"You better not take my place... you pig." He reminded as he showed an arrogant smile and with that, he placed his hands in his pockets from his pants then walked away.
He... he humiliated me...
You said in your thoughts as you looked down and tears suddenly came out from your eyes. You quickly ran out of the school, your tears never stopped and even if some people were looking at you weirdly, you still proceeded your way home.
"What happened to you, ____?! Who did this?" Your mother exclaimed as she saw you covered with mess.
"It's... nothing." You suddenly ran up the stairs.
"____!" Your mom called, but you just went straight to your bedroom and sat down on the floor beside your bed.
"What did I ever do to him..." You wondered as you sobbed.
*End of Flashback*
I really regret myself for trusting him at that time. I hate it...
"Why so grumpy on the first day of school?" He asked as he let out a chuckle.
He's really trying to piss me off...
"Why are you always such a spoiled brat?" You said, your serious expression still remained.
"Take it easy, ____." He said as he's still in his cool state.
"You two, silence." Mrs. Armellia gave a warning as she pointed at the two of you and in response, the both of you then faced your attentions on the board and kept quiet.
This school year is going to suck...
