When the the ride halted to a stop, the ease and awkwardness of the moment had eventually flooded away. Just as the water beneath you was swaying and rocking against the boat so leisurely, your and Hikaru's movements began to become in sync, and the queasy feeling you had been experiencing once before, completely dispersed.
"Hik-" the moment you attempted to speak, Hikaru only urged you closer, until your bodies touched only slightly more and he could deepen the kiss.
What surprised you most hadn't been his actions, but the fact that he seemed experienced in kissing. The movements were tingling and exciting, and seemed to continuously put you on edge.
Your delicates hands wavered, before moving away from being placed on your lap, and tugging at the hem of Hikaru's shirt- this accurately grabbed the redhead's attention, since he reluctantly pulled away, with an uncharacteristically sheepish expression.
The darkening night hid his reddening cheeks, as he cleared his throat and murmured a small apology. "...I got a bit carried away." He admitted as he put a small space between the both of you, so you wouldn't be uncomfortable.
You were stunned beyond words- and if it hadn't been for the worker who had stopped the machine, staring you two down with an equally shaken look, you and Hikaru may have stayed in the tiny boat for quite some time.
"Let's just get out before I start feeling sick again," you climbed over him without another word, fearing that if you spoke, you true feelings of being flustered would come out. You didn't want to give Hikaru the satisfaction, of him knowing he had such an effect on you.
As soon as your feet made contact with the steady ground, a warm hand clasped around your wrist, stopping you from moving any further.
"Y/N, can I tell you something?" Hikaru's normal tone and expression were present once again, as he eventually stood by your side. Though, instead of letting go of your wrist, his hand move downward and he entangled his fingers with yours.
"Hm? What is it?" You hadn't pulled away from the hand-holding, but it was difficult to face him currently.
"Your lips are surprisingly soft," he teased, yet continued even as he saw your unreadable expression change to a horrified one. "Kissing you was almost like touching one of my silk pillowcases," he ranted on, "it was nice."
"Maybe you should just kiss your pillow next time then." You told him.
He pouted in response. "I hope the experience went well for you too-"
His speech was interrupted, as Hikaru was suddenly pelted with a horde of marshmallows. One after another hit his hair, and it nearly amused you to see the fluffy white pelts fly through the air.
Nearly amused you.
"Waaaah, so that's how you use this~" The familiar and sugar-coated voice could be hard, then another pull of a trigger. Another marshmallow hit Hikaru directly in his face as he turned around, to glare at Honey-senpai who still giggled carelessly.
Mori appeared unamused, whereas Rima had been enjoying the entire show, in the moment.
"Couldn't you see we were having a moment?" Hikaru adjusted his disheveled hair, before speaking to the three culprits.
"Where did you get a Marshmallow Canon Gun™ anyway?" You titled your head as you examined the weapon from afar, in utter confusion.
"Kaoru-chan won it for me~ He said he'd get me cake and lots of candy for a week if I tried my best to hit Hikaru with them,"
Rima was still laughing whilst clutching her stomach and trying not to fall over which infuriated Hikaru, and Mori was the most lax out of everyone, as he simply shook his head in disappointment at two of his Host Club companions.
"Honey-senpai if you- ow," he glared even more, as he let go of your hand and stalked towards the short blond, "hit me with another marshmallow, you'll eat vegetables instead of cake for the rest of your life."
You snickered at their bickering, until your attention was taken away once you saw Kaoru approaching from the opposite direction of Hikaru- in his arms, was a teddy bear larger than himself. It was brown, with a cute red bowtie on it's head, and extremely fluffy.
The smile on your face had gone unnoticed by yourself, as Kaoru sat the giant thing down onto the ground. The teddy bear fell against you, and nearly took you down to the ground with it.
"Time to switch." Kaoru finally announced, not daring to take his gaze off of you.
His twin, who was even more displeased, turned around and saw what he considered an atrocious sight. "What? No it isn- Honey-senpai I will shove that gun up places that you didn't even know existed if you don't stop."
"Takashi! He's scaring me!"
Kaoru took this small opportunity to whisk you away, without another moment to spare.
