Its been a week since I talked to or seen Kjay. This little break shit wasnt working for me. Then to top it off I was home for another 5 days and oh yeah my basketball dreams are over. Coach said she's gonna bench me for the rest of the season. Only if we make it to playoffs thats when I'll be back. Aint that a bitch. I've been home reading the Drama High Series. (Yes its a real series. Great book with alot of drama). All I do is clean read sleep and shit. Kim won't let me go anywhere. Its like she doesnt trust me no more at all.
"Wanna go shopping?" Robert asks as Im laying down watching T.v
"Im not in the mood" I say.
"You're not in the mood for Hollister, skinny jeans, jordans, griffreys, or dresses?" he asks me making me think. Shit that does sound good.
"You're buying?" I asked smiling.
"Go get dress Diamond. I'll be ready in 30 minutes" he says. I jump up an start getting ready.
~Couple Hours Later~
"Thank alot Robert" I say as we are eating in the food court.
"You welcome Diamond. I was tired of sitting at home all day. An I know you were to" he says.
"Hell yeah. I hate getting suspended" I say playing with my orange chicken.
"Then why do you?" he asks.
"Cause its hard for me to control my anger. I tried talking to her but when she said something about Kjay I couldnt hold it in" I say thinking about Kjay once again.
"Diamond you're growing up to be a beautiful educated young lady. Now an days you gotta let these hoes go an be bout there business. Its not gonna mean you're pussy or some shit. It just means you're way more mature than them" he says.
"You're right. But thats hard. All my life I been having to fight females" I say.
"Well you need to change your life around an become a women" he says. I sigh.
"Do it for me. Please?" he asks.
"I guess I can try" I say sucking my teeth.
"Now thats my little sister" he says kissing my cheelk.
"What ever Robert. I'm just doing this for you. Not nobody else. Not even Kim. I cant believe she told Kjay that we needed a break from each other." I say pouting.
"Im pretty sure she did it for a good thing. You dont even know that this may make y'all relationship stronger an better" he says.
''But what if on this break we found somebody else?" I ask.
"If y'all find somebody else in these two months y'all was never in love or cared about this break" he says causing me to really think.
"Robert thank you soooo much. Shit sometimes you're better than Joshua" I say causing him to laug.
"Did lil girl really have an abortion?" he asks.
"Yup" I say.
"Joshua hurt from that shit" he says.
"Yeah I know. Im scared to talk to him about it. He may curse my ass out then there we go fighting" I say.
"But you're not gonna fight no more" Rober says arching his eyebrow.
"Oops" I say covering my face,
"Its gonna take alot of time for you to get use to this. But I bet you by the beginning of your junior year you'll be use to it" he says.
"Hopefully" I say.
"So whats going on with this Meek situation?" he asks.
"Well he goes to court Saturday. Im not going" I say.
"Why not? They can say he not guilty just because you didnt show Diamond" he says.
"This is like another Trayvon Martin case instead Im not dead an he's not white. Either way he still gonna be proven guilty cause he's black. You know how the court syster works" I say rolling my eyes.
"Now you're right. But then again Meek has a good lawyer" he says.
"Fuck his lawyer. I dont even know why they give out lawyers to the bad people who did the shit" I say.
"You're right. But your lawyer told Kim we can probably win this" he says.
"I know we're gonna win this. It aint no doubt about it" I say smirking.
"Look at ms. know it all" Robert says causing me to laugh.
"Whatever Robert. Im ready to go" I say getting up an grabbing all my bags.
"Same here" he says grabbing his bags.
Later that Night
"Diamond girl we got some new kids at school" Chantel says thru the phone.
"Word?" I say.
"Yes ma'am. An the boy is fine as fuck" she says.
'Oh shit. Word?" I say
"Yes. His sisters bad as fuck to. Looking like a bag of money" she says making me laugh.
"Hell naw. Names?" I ask.
"Yeah. Dontrell, Unique, and Miracle" she says.
"Miracle? Unique? The fuck they mama had going on" I ask laughing.
"Girl you stupid. But they cool as fuck. Unique a 10th grader and Miracle a 12th grader" she says.
"Oh I guess." I say. Me and some females don't get along. For example look at me and Honey.
"They cool Diamond. Im telling you. But they brother can get it anyway he want it" she says making me bust out laughing.
"Umm okay" I say still laughing.
"Im dead ass. Nigga know he fine" she says.
"What grade he in?" I ask.
"12th" she says.

"Yup. Him and Kjay start talking" she says.
"How's Kjay?" I asked.
"Good. Missing yo ass" She says. I start to smile.
"Next time you see him tell him I miss him" I say.
"Alright. He got his own apartment now" she says.
"That was quick" I say.
''Hell yeah" She says.
"Diamond get off the phone an come eat" Kim says yelling.
"Girl bye." Chantel says making me laugh.
"You heard her?" I ask.
"Yes bih. Bye before she chokes you" she says hanging up.
"So Diamond you're benched for the rest of the season?" Kim asks me. How did she find out? Joshua and Robert looks at me.
"Yea" I say loosing my appetite.
''When were you going to tell me this?" She asks.
''Whenever you came to one of my games. Oh wait you never come to my games" I say. Robert and Joshua starts to cough. They already know me and Kim always spaz out on each other.
"Think you funny? Well guess what else is funny?" she says with a smirk on her face.
"What Kim? Damn." I say throwing my fork down.
"You're off the team" she says making Joshua and Robert choke on their food.
"The fuck did you just say?" I ask getting ready to beat her ass like I did Honey.
" I called your coach today an I told her I wanted you off the team" she says I took a deep breath an taught about what me and Robert talked about at the mall. He doesnt want me fighting no more. An I understand that. So I got my cup of soda an threw it at her face.
"Diamond what the fuck" Robert says.
"See I aint hit her. I threw something on her" I say getting up at the table
"Girl have you lost your mind" Kim says getting up from the table an coming toward me.
"No bitch but you have lost yours doing this shit to me?" I ask her. Robert comes in between us.
"Y'all need to stop it" Robert says. Joshua is now holding me back.
"Naw let the bitch go. If she fight A sixteen year old she was never a mature women like she said she was" I say laughing. That really pissed her off. She was trying to get to me so bad but Robert was to strong for her.
"Diamond go to your room" Joshua says pushing me toward my room.
"Let the bitch hit me. Please. I beg you" I say trying to jump over him. It wasn't working.
"Go to your room. Now!" He says.
"Man whatever. But Kim fuck you hoe. You aint nothing but like this hoes in the street to me now. You aint my sister" I say an dissappear into my room. Im off the team, I cant trust my own family and I have no boyfriend? Why am I even still alive?
