This is just an additional chapter i added myself.

I trudged forward whilst carrying another limp being on my side and with the help of my strength to actually keep him stand and walk normally,
"Geez,Yuu--who could've thought you were this heavy despite looking like a bamboo stick." I snorted as we make our way along the hospital wing
"Shut up, you're the heavy one." The ravenette scoffed.
"Excuse you,i'm the one carrying you now as the matter of fact." A vein mark popped ob my temple but trying to coupe up with it for a while
We entered a certain room where it written 'Examining Area' and assuming this must be the place where to get ourselves clean up especially after a long tiring training that constantly going up for the past few weeks between Yuuichiro and i.
"Eh?" But our both sights then unexpectedly fell on to a figure standing not too far ahead of us-even though with his back facing us we instantly knew who it was
"Oi,Guren! What're you doing here?" Yuuichiro being loud himself called out firstly
This catches his attention as the navy male whirl around and to see us;cue with his boring look on his face as always
"Hm? Oh,it's just you two." He then dismissed the doctors and nurses who he had been talking to earlier before we could reach his side leaving me in another suspicion
That's no ordinary doctors nor nurses outfits;more like a researchers'
"You guys at it again?" He shot us a rather stoic expression after taking in our battered and dirtied form
"No kidding,since our 'Oh-so-good-superior' never really train us." I pretended not to notice anything and just to go with the flow of the conversations
"Yeah! And believe it or not i actually got Arisa this time!" Yuu interjected
"No you didn't,you were the one who actually looked more ugly now than i am." I pointed out
"Hrmph!" He pursed his lips into a straight line.
"Now stop scowling and get yourself clean,nurse!"
"You know,you look actually like her mother than his girlfriend." Guren bluntly speak as i called out to the nearest nurse and ask her a favour to check up the bruises on Yuu's ribs and legs
"Girlfriend my ass,we're only childhood friends." I placed both hands on my hips and rose an eyebrow at the older male
He then shrugs his shoulders before walking past me by;plopping a hand on top of my head in the process
"Well then,see ya' around kiddo."
But as Guren have not really walk out that far, my mind began to wonder;sure he is kind of mysterious and the topic Shinoa had brought up about Lieutenant Guren really got my curiosity killed the cat.
Maybe,just maybe i could get a little hint about him if i did this.

Guren's walking came into a halt and eventually stopped,
"Tell me a coherent reasons the fact Why are you following me,Arisa?"
The younger brunette female popped her head beside his arm as he does not even bother to turn around
"Because i'm bored and i am quite curious of your works,Lieutenant Colonel Guren." She smiled-an innocent one
He rose an eyebrow lightly, "You're not usually this angelic,what do you want?"
"That's rather mean,i really wanted to see your works,stupid Guren." She mumbled the last few words underneath her breath.
"And that is a no,now run a long kid." He motioned with his hand,shoo-ing her away
But Arisa being stubborn herself refused to step away from her standing spot
"But Guren--i'm lonely.." She beams at him,
"You have Shinoa or Mitsuba or whoever it is to play with,"
"Please..?" This time,she bats her eyelashes and tips forward on her toes resulting him to leaned backwards and placed a hand over her head attempting to calm the little girl down
"Fine fine--! Geez,never knew taking care of kids is so hard." He grumbled,
"Yeah! You're the best,Guren!"
"But one thing for sure,don't interrupt any of it,understand?" He huffed
"Hai~!"

"Guren~! This is boring~!" The younger female plops down onto the nearest couch inside of the older male's office where he had sit himself down for the past two hours doing a pile of paperworks.
Her eyes narrowed to him from the afar as taking his silence only an answer,his eyes glued to the papers on his working desk.
Her lips pursed into a straight line before standing up from the couch and starts to make her way towards him where she finally stood right in front of his working desk.
She peered into his face and leaned forward earning a groan from the older male,
"I told you to not interrupt my work earlier,did i not?"
"Well--yeah but,all you have been doing is doing all your paperwork since the past few hours-how is that fun!"
He finally lift his chin up and lets out a deep sigh,"Ya' think i'm asking for this?"
"Can't you just skip the work and do something more fun instead?" She cocked her head to the side slightly,
"It's from your master's order-i can't really object him now,don't i."
Her eyes twitched upon hearing his words, "He is NOT my master."
Hearing the venom spat from her,Guren flicker his eyes up to see her grumbling and looking away annoyedly.
"I guess you're really not in his attention anymore,eh?"
"Not that i needed in the first place." She scoffs,obviously recalling the image where her trusted guardian had actually hurt her comrades and proud of his dignity more.
She shook her head in attempt to brushed it off, "So why don't we find something fun to do! What do ya' say,buddy!"
Guren narrowed his eyes at the younger female lazily, "First,you don't call your superior 'Buddy' and second--Get off,you're sitting on my assignments!"
Arisa looked down to see she had sat right on top of the papers he is working on. She grins sheepishly before hopping down the desk,
"You know,with you getting grumpy all the time--you won't get yourself a girlfriend sooner," She bluntly said out loud.
"Not that i planned to look for one either." He snorted.
"Oh come on,even i think you got that looks on you!"
The older male heaves out another deep sigh for the umpteenth time for today as he props one elbow up and rested his chin upon his palm,
"What do you want this time kid?"
She shook her head, "I really mean it,you grumpy old man,"
She paused,
"Think about it,if i have reached about your age right now--imagine the older me! Would you fall for me?" She smirks,twirling lightly on purpose in her uniform;batting her eyelash towards him.
It leaves him in a few second of silence as staring into her form boringly,
"Nope,you're still a brat in my eyes."
"MEANIEEE!"
But little did she know,Guren did imagined the older looks of her if she have matured across his mind for a while there.
Their little conversation was soon interrupted with the door to the office creaks open with its doorknob being turned open,catching both of their attentions.
Their heads shot up in a sync just in time to see another figure had entered himself in without any response from Guren.
Her body froze in place,studying his figure as well as features that had just let himself in without permission.
Kureto's red ruby eyes fell onto her smaller being,seeming not surprise at all. He then made his way over to Guren's desk.
All Arisa could do was to only stand still beside him and stares at his foot.
"Here you go,the documents i talked about the other day." He handed the other male a document that written 'CONFIDENTIAL' on the first cover page with red ink.
Her eyes stole glances carefully on each of their movement,her brain starts to process quickly to remember the form of the document;the thickness,the colors and---
"Don't even think about it,Arisa."
Her eyes automatically flickered up to the taller Hiiragi man,who addresses her but takes no indication of looking at her on the face.
Her forehead creases just in time when Kureto tilts his head to the side slightly and looked at her with a smug look on his face that she has not been seeing for a while now.
Her gaze does not waver at his sight as he stares at him.The bitter images starts to recall back again in the back of her head that caused her fingers to curled up and forming fists.
"Have you been doing well with your team and trainings?" He asks,
But it doesn't sound the same anymore in her eyes; Kureto is just being Kureto-and there is no other meaning behind those question,not affection nor caring.
She averts eye contact from him,glaring wordlessly onto the couch not too far from her spot.
The Hiiragi male could only shrugs it off and flash Guren a smirk,
Which Guren knew what he meant. The Ichinose young man's eyes glazed,before nodding a firm nod to him.
"It's confidential and make sure to keep it that way," Kureto warned,spun around and about to take his leave.
But not before he plops his large hand on top of the brunette's head catching her off guard and did not seen it coming.
"Don't slack off now." Was all Kureto said before pulling his hand back to his side again and take his exit.
Leaving her stunned and dumbfounded.A rage feeling were mixed within her as she only stand in silence.
Guren narrowed his eyes to the girl on cue she speaks up,
"Hey,Guren,tell me." She starts off,
"What?"
"What was it like,to be betrayed by someone whom you trusted?" She does not even spare a glance to him as she ask,only staring at the door where the Hiiragi man left it closed.
He stays quiet for a brief moment,studying her side profile,
"You're asking me 'cause you knew about me,didn't you?" He throw back a question,
This time,she looked over her shoulder to look at him and nodded as her respond.
Guren sighs,knowing that kind of expression on hers right now is serious-but more in a vulnerable state.
"I'm pretty sure you know how it feels." He leans backwards on the chair.
"I can guess but,i can't say i really do understand how." her voice drawls out slow,
"You're thinking too much," Was Guren said as he tries to went back on his assignments.
While the other latter won't let it happen,
"Why not? In a world as devastated as this you could never tell who's your allies or who's your enemy,"
Her remarks caused the male to stop his hand abruptly-froze. But luckily for him the female did not notice it,
"Mika,our family is a Vampire and we did not know why but despite all that--" She turns arounf to fully facing him.
"Yuu--No,we all decided to rescue him." she declared loftily,with the mild smile of hers that he rarely seen.
It almost catches him taken aback if it is not for his ability to put up on a stoic expression.But what came next from her own mouth really did slackened his face in to a surprise
"And even though you--Lieutenant Colonel Guren Ichinose is the laziest and frustrating superior i have ever met,"
"Are you looking for a fight?" A vein mark pops on his head,hoping to appear calm.

"--is who i would call family as well." She finished it off with a grin.
Guren's eyes bulged out slightly,never would have thought a Hyakuya Arisa will said that.
"Well,even though some times you're annoying-i feel more like you're a nagging daddy." she huffed,meant it as a joke.
But it went different from his point of view.
Guren casts his eyes downwards. No,he would not be bothered by a brat's saying that never knew how the world is too cruel for her to easily said that.
"Welp! I guess i should be on my way back now! Thanks for the not-so-entertaining-day,Guren!" Arisa bubbles out a small chuckles from her lips as she spun around,heading towards the door.
Guren got up on his feet quietly.He will never let such a kid's saying enter his heart and before it all affected him deeply,he had to pretend as if she said nothing and to end all of it fast and unharmed.
He goes over the table and his steps quicken before he lunge forward and charged to the brunette female that does not realize anything.
Knocking her unconscious as she fell limply on to the carpet with a faint thud making no one suspect a thing.
The room then went quiet,
"Sorry," He apologized-staring down at her feature who shut both her eyes tight in to the darkness,swallowed by the abyss.
"I just had to."

"So,this is Hyakuya Arisa?" The bespectacled man wearing white laboratory coat and a clipboard in his hand,analyzing the still-unconscious girl who now is placed inside of a tube,an oxygen mask rested upon her lips and nose.
Guren stayed quiet,never tearing his gaze away from her.
Taking his silence answer as a yes,one of the professor looked at him,
"The injection of the drugs will begin soon on her as soon as we are done investigating how her body's fatigue is strong enough to take it." he stated out,
"I see," Guren responded.
"We've injected anesthetic into her so she wouldn't wake up in the middle of the process." the professor continue to explains.
However,Guren's eyes only blinks once in a while as his mind is raging,overwhelming his whole body,and soul.
"--is who i would call family as well."
The voice resonates throughout his whole head,repeated again and again.
"Lieutenant Colonel?" One of the researcher called out,snapping him back out from his own world.
"We're about to begin the process,is it alright with you?"
It took him a few seconds to respond,but in the end he answer,
"Yes,proceed."
He whirled around,about to made his way out from the laboratory room,
"And gives her the amnesthetic drug,make sure she won't remember any of these nor how did this happened to her." He commanded.
"Yes,sir-will do."
With that,Guren left.
With a heavy heart.

I woke up with a start and the first thing that came into my sight was the white ceiling above me. Not remembering how i got here,i instantly slouched upward from the soft mattress beneath me.
But as soon as i did,my muscles clicked for some reason producing a soft groan escaped from my mouth,and my head hurts as well.
"Ouwh--what the--"
My eyes do a quick scan around the room and only consist a small simple room that seems dark.But my sight fell when a figure came upon my view who is sitting on one of the corners with his head rested atop of his hand while the other arm rested on the arm-wrest of the single couch.
After squinting my eyes closely,i finally came in to a conclusion of who it is,
"Guren?" I called out carefully.
The figure seems to heard me as i saw him moving slightly,removing his hand away from his head and looked right at me,
"Oh,you're awake,huh."
My body that tensed earlier fell loose as i knew it is only the one and only lazy superior of ours.
"Where am i? How come i was on this bed?" Was the first thing that came unbidden from my mouth.
He stood up with a sigh,and afterwards making his way over my bed to the window beside me.
And without any warning,he shove both of the curtains wide open and blinding me with the suddenness of the bright sunlight resulting me to shut my eyes tightly in almost an instant-both my hands covering up upon them to add more avoidance of the light to came in contact with my eyes.
"Ahh--!! What the heck,Guren!?" I cried out in agony,
"Rise and shine,you lazy brat." he flash me a smirk,narrowing his eyes over his shoulders.
"Huh? I thought it's even night already!?" I perplexed,rubbing both eyes to chase away the blurry visions.
"No," he scoffs,
"You fell asleep on my work office and to think i have to carry you all the way here." he added on.
"Awwe you did!?" I bats my eyelash at him,
Guren crosses his arms and leans against the window sill.
"You don't say."
"Bet you carried me like a sack of potato,didn't you."
"Exactly." He smirks.
Giving in at the end, i only heaves out a sigh;
"Anyways,thanks-although i hate to say my gratitude here."
He rose an eyebrow, "Oh? Did i just hear the almighty Arisa thanked me?"
"Don't push it,old man." This time it's my turn to flash him a smug smirk.
I swung my both legs to the side and got up to my feet.But to my surprise it went wobbly causing me to almost lose my balance.
What the hell?
It feels like i just ran a marathon.
Decided to ignore it,i waved a hand at the older male
"I better get going now,Yuu would probably zoomed up and down to find my whereabouts."
"Ha,that's what you think." Guren sarcastically replied.
"Shut up." But oddly i found myself laughs by his jokes.
I turn the door knob and opens the door,ready to step out anytime.But not until i shot one last look to him,
"I'll see ya' around,Guren!"
And just like that,i left without sparring another glance at him.
I would have thought the distance between me and the Ichinose leader have somehow decreased at least a little bit.

The male was left with only the sound of the younger female's pounding foot steps that began to drifting away along the corridor echoes,until it was fully gone.
His eyes never left the door where she had just leave.
His eyes casts downwards,before it gradually shut fully.
"The injection of the Demon investigation is done,"
He began to recall the memories that just happened awhile ago right before she woke up,
"And as we thought,Lieutenant Colonel Sir," One of the researcher came up to him with his eyes beaming in excitement,scanning quickly through the paper of clipboard in his hand.
Guren watches him and waits patiently for him to continue,
"She has the blood that corresponded with the Seraph."
It almost appalled him of what they had end the result with although somewhere deep inside his heart,he was hoping she is not linked with anything.
"We have planted the drugs inside of her and for that,we are ready for her transformation anytime she will evolve,Lieutenant Colonel Guren."
Guren re-open his eyes again,revealing the dreary yet tired violet orbs eyes. He spun around,facing the window to the outside this time as his sight fell down to the two figures came running to each other before stopped eventually in the amidst of the empty field below the dormitory building he is in.
The brunette female that is just with him earlier shot the other ravenette boy a sheepish grin who only got a scowl as a reply from the male one that seems to be admonishing her fully.
However,his expression remain stoic.
He places a hand onto the glass and to see it properly,both of the kids are placed each between the slip of his fingers from his point of view.
Before his hand covered in white glove curls into a fist that his knuckles went white beneath it,
"I'm sorry,Arisa."
Unbeknownst to me,all that happen is the distance between me and Guren is beyond afar.

Now don't get confused yet y'all. This additional chapter will have it's link with a later ongoing chapter that i will update soon.
NOTICE: Since i update this book according to the Manga/comic book and due to my busy schedule--I will skip a few chapters of OWARI NO SERAPH and might write it again on the Chapter where the war has began so i won't get too left behind from the ongoing chapters.
Do not worry,i will not skip the part where the main female protagonist discovered her superior's betrayal since y'all waited for that scene mostly {:
