Chapter 14 the bad news

We waited it seemed like forever.
Carlisle walked in and knelt down by Amy,he took her temp. It was 103.5 .
She had the flu, he gave her some meds to bring her temp back down.
I will be back Carlisle said,he got up and left.
He came back about an hour later,ok I bought one of the cabins.
I set up a hospital area in one of the rooms.
You he said pointing to me will bring Amy over there.
She will stay there until she is better,you are more then welcome to stay there with her.
I nodded and picked her up and followed the doctor.
I carried her into a room with a big bed and a couch was by a window.
I lay her on the bed then sat on the couch and let the doctor do his thing.
After the doctor got her set up he came over and sat on a stool in front of me.
I am not sure how long she has to stay here we will take it day by day.
You can go get stuff you'll need for your stay here.
I nodded then walked over to the bedside lifted up my mask and kissed her cheek.
I turned to see the doctor watching me.
I quickly pulled my mask back down and left.

After I gathered everything we needed I went to speak to mother.
Mother help me I sobbed,MY SPECIAL BOY WHAT EVER IS THE MATTER? Amy, bad stuff keeps happening to her.
HONEY THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT.
But why not? I kill the bad people and that fixes things,but now....
I KNOW MY JAY BIRD SOMETHINGS YOU CAN'T CONTROL NO MATTER HOW BAD YOU WANT TO.
It better not be the baby hurting her!
NOW JASON WHY WOULD YOU THINK THAT?!
I don't know she told me that her body couldn't handle it,it's my fault!

I grabbed my head it hurts when she yells at me like that.

BECAUSE HONEY I WASN'T THINKING, BUT HANG IN THERE.

I double checked to make sure I got everything before heading back.
When I walked into her room I saw my angel.
She was sitting up in bed eating something.
She smiled when she saw me,I smiled back once again forgetting my mask was on.


Amy's P.O.V.

I woke up in a hospital bed,at first I was scared I didn't know where the heck I was.
I looked around the room from where I sat on the bed.
I saw Carlisle reading my chart,he looked up and smiled when he noticed I was awake.
Hey good to see you're awake finally.
Finally? What do you mean by that?
You were out for almost six hours.
Oh,what happened to me?
From what Jason told us is that you fainted.
Also you have the flu,you must of passed back out after I gave you the meds to bring down your temp.
Yeah I guess I did.
Are you hungry? Carlisle asked Yeah sure I guess so.
Ok what are you hungry for?
Chinese food?
Ok I'll see what I can do so how do you feel?
Tired,hungry,scared.
Ok will you need your rest and I'll get you your Chinese food.
Why are you scared though?
I'm not sure why.

I groaned I hate being called kid.
I feel asleep and when I woke up again my food was here.

Oh that's good,yeah I never seen him without his mask on until he kissed you before leaving to get your stuff.
Oh I knew where this was headed.
It looked to me that he has a brain tumor or something of the short.

Yup Carlisle nodded then lift.
I was flipping through the channels when I looked to my right and saw Jason watching me.
Hey you I smile up at him,he nodded and patted my head.
I finally found something to watch,it was The lion king.
Jason pulled over a chair and sat by my bedside.
I couldn't help but sing to the song 'I just can't wait to be king'.
of course I knew the movie by heart but kept my mouth shut.
Bur every time a song came on I ended up singing along with it.
Jason seemed to enjoy my singing even though I thought I sucked at it.
He grabbed my hand and played with it,this of course tickled and made me laugh.
I could tell it made him laugh as will because his ears would turn red.
I took his masked face in my hands and slowly took his mask off.
He tried to stop me,but I fought him off.
No I want to see my husband's face.
He finally gave in and let me take it off.
He turned his head trying to hide, but he turned back toward me when I kissed his cheek.
