"I will do whatever I want to her SHE IS MINE!" I felt a hand grab me by the hair and yank me towards the village." Suddenly there was a crunching sound and a bloodcurdling scream. I turned around to
see him my betrothed clutching his wrist while balling on the ground. What the hell was going on here?
"HOw dare you touch me you fool. I will see you killed and I will have her. I will marry her tomorrow and there is nothing that you can do about it!" Of course even balling like a baby
he still thinks he's the shit.
"Be glad I didn't kill you." Viktor walked over to me and again I was lost in those green eyes. "Are you hurt little flower?"
"N no" stammer yeah I stammered.
"Why did you do that? The village will hunt you down and kill you without a second thought. I can't lose you I just found you!" Tears stream down my face.
"You won't lose me. In fact we are leaving now. You will come with me and never wilt or die."
"How can you say that? Everything dies but the undead the vampyre of legend. They are a disgusting people who smell of rotten flesh, are cold as death, and feed on the souls of the living!"
Suddenly it all clicked, but wait he wasn't disgusting, he didn't smell of rotten flesh, and he didn't eat my soul.
"We do not smell of rotten flesh and we don't eat souls. We drink blood and we don't have to drink human blood. We can survive off animal blood. In fact that's how I survive. I drink off of animals
and nothing else."
"Then why me? What did I do to deserve this?" I stood up and turned away ready to run when the promise came back to me.
"Aren't you going to run from me?" I turned slowly to look at him. He looked so anguished.
"No. I promised you that I would never run from you. You have done nothing to hurt me what so ever and in fact you saved me from him." Wait where was he? "Viktor where did he go?"
"He has run to the village. He won't get there anytime soon, but if you don't leave with me now I'm afraid that you will be killed. I'm sorry, but you are going to have to leave
your old life or die." Well that really wasn't that hard of a choice. I had a comfortable life until he bought me as he so eloquently put it, but I should have known what he was really like.
"I'm not going back there. I will never go back there to that life of servitude. Take me away please." With that Viktor lifted me in his arms and kissed me softly on the lips.
"Please hold on tight my love. I will run and it will be uncomfortable to you, but we will get farther this way." I clung to his neck and nodded. Suddenly there was a whooshing sound around
me and I felt like I was flying. So this is what birds feel. So free and alive.
"Why did you choose me?"
"To be honest...I've lived by that waterfall for many years. No one ever came to it until about 3 years ago when you stumbled across it one night. I was struck you have the most beautiful smile
I've ever seen. You looked up at the moon with such reverence and love that I couldn't help but watch you. I've fallen in love with you over the years of silently watching you. I was content to
just watch you or so I thought." He paused to look at me with such love. "And then about a month ago you started to look so sad. I had to know why you weren't your usual happy self. So I started to get
closer and wanted to actually know you. I was watching you tonight and you were just laying there with this dead look on your face. Usually when you looked at the moon you smiled and glowed, but not tonight.
I chuckeled at myself for falling for a human and then you spoke. I had never heard your voice before then and I was shocked. You have the most beautiful voice I've ever heard." At that I had to laugh.
"what?" He looked so sad again.
"Oh no I wasn't laughing at you I swear. I was laughing at myself. When you spoke the first time tonight all I thought was that you had the most beautiful voice I'ld ever heard." I finished sheepishly. At
that Viktor laughed. "Please continue I didn't mean to interupt you."
"Well I decided to just go and talk to you. I stripped as fast as I could and walked out to talk to you. You didn't run away from me. And then you promised to never run away from me. I just wanted to
touch the warmth of your skin. And then when we kissed it was like I was alive." Suddenly we stopped in front of an old hut. "Well we are at my home now."
"Don't you think they are going to find us here. I mean you said you live near the waterfall?"
"Well actually I live on top of the waterfall and unless they can jump like me they aren't getting up here." I didn't believe him so I went and looked. Oh my god we were standing on top alright and
it was really high and treacherous.
"I see what you mean."
"I have something to ask you and you might think that I'm nuts, but will you marry me?" Whoa! Holy Shit! I just met this guy how in the hell can I marry him and yet I can't help but want to.
"I I I don't know what to say. We barely know each other at all. I don't know anything about you except that you've been watching me for over 3 years. But I can't say no."
"Really you will? Umm this is going to kinda scare you, but you have to be like me. I won't lose you or watch you wither and die like the beautiful flower that you are."
"I can't be like you! How could that happen?"
"Well there is away. I have to drink your blood and then you must drink mine."
"Will it hurt?"
"I don't really know. I was born this way and stopped aging at 18? I can't die, well I can, but we will go into that later."
"Then yes" I can't believe it I'm going to be made into a vampyre and I'm going to get married. And all this happened before the sun came up on the day I met Viktor.
Slowly he walked over to me and took my hand. He led me into the hut and picked me up. He walked over to the bed and slowly lowered us both onto it. He kissed me softly and slowly moved his hands over me.
He kissed my jaw all the way down my neck and collarbone. Slowly his had ran up my thigh. I traced his body muscle by muscle with my hands and then there was a pinch on my neck. God it was the best feeling ever.
I never wanted it to stop I wanted all of him. Screw virtue I just wanted him.
Suddenly I started to feel week and dizzy. So week what's wrong with me? Please someone help me. Viktor where are you? Why can't I see you?
"Sheena? SHEENA!! Oh no I took to much. But you tasted so good and I'm sorry!! SHEENA?" Viktor I can hear you. Baby where are you? Finally I found my voice.
"Viktor?"
"Oh Sheena here here drink this now!" I felt something wet on my lips and licked at it.Oh it's good. Sooo good. I want more. I suddenly have my strenght back and latch on to whatever it is that I was drinking.
It was so good. I felt my strength slowly return. Suddenly it's yanked away from me.
"Sheena you have to stop now. I'm sorry. Are you feeling ok?" He looked so worried.
"Viktor I'm fine. I feel better than I've ever felt in my life. Yet I'm so tired." He smiled at me.
"Sleep love you've had a long night. You are going to die today my love and it's ok. Your heart will stop beating while you sleep. When you wake up you will be alright I promise." I trusted him with my very life
so I nodded and closed my eyes.
"Wait! Viktor please don't leave me. Promise you won't leave my side all night. Or rather day." that made me giggle as I fell into a deep sleep.
