Chapter 4: Who was THAT?

The next day, both of them were early for the trip. Usually, Kiku wanted to make her see sakura trees for Maria. After a long breakfast, they started a conversation. "Where are we going?" Asked the confused Maria. Kiku sighed as if he was tired. "Remember, it's a surprise?" Kiku said, annoyed. Since as a child, he always acts as a "tsundere". As he said this, Maria immediately standed up then bowed. "Sumimasen deshita, onii-chan." Maria apologized, respectfully. Kiku was shocked that she can be polite, like he does to others. When they were at the special place, it was very beautiful. The sakura petals falls down like snow. "Wow, it's very pretty...Thank you--" said astonished Maria. But her thank you was cut short when she noticed something very, very strange. She didn't know what it is. Kiku tilted his head a bit. "What, Maria-chan? Is there something wrong?" Maria snapped out her thoughts. She blinked her eyes fast. "Ah! I-It's nothing. I think i noticed something there.." She pointed the direction where she found it. But, "it" was not there anymore. It was someone. He looked like a blond guy with blue eyes and wearing eyeglasses. It was Alfred F. Jones. He is part of The Allies, a group who does plans in a violent way. "Damnit! She noticed me! I should report this to Yao..." He said to himself. Actually, he's the leader. Kiku tried to kill him, but it was useless. When they went home, Maria explained what she saw. "It was very suspicious. When i saw it, i guess there is a person or a animal..." Maria explained. Highly shocked, Kiku knew who it was. "It's one of the Allies! I fought him years ago at war. I'm sure it's one of them." Maria though, never thought her brother was smart. Further enough, it was highly accurate. "You must be right. Let's go report this to Ludwig fast." calmly said Maria.
