I sit in class with my head buried in my hands.
I fucked up big time.
I keep thinking over and over again on whether I should have moved or not but then I remember mum and forget everything else.
I'm doing this for her. I'm making her proud so it must be the right thing.
"Hey." A feminine voice says from beside me. I hear her pull out the chair next to me before sitting down.
I glance up and for a second I feel as if I'm going absolutely insane because she reminds me so much of Willow.
She has the same shade of brunette hair but it isn't as long as her's.
I'm going absolutely crazy.
"Do you mind if I sit here?" The girl next to me asks.
She has an incredibly strong American accent.
"Well you're already sat here so..." I give her a small smile.
She raises her eyebrows.
"You're British." She states in surprise.
"Yes, I am.
"That's so cool."
I roll my eyes.
Fifteen minutes into class, the girl sat next to me pokes me with her pen.
"What?" I ask in a quiet voice.
I notice my Chemistry teacher eyeing me, especially due to the fact that I've fallen asleep twice today.
"What's it like in England?"
I laugh at her random question.
"Of all the questions you could have asked me, you ask me about schools in England."
"Not schools. Just generally."
"..."
"Why are you looking at me like that for?"
I quickly look away.
"Sorry, it's just that you remind me of someone I know."
She smiles.
"Is that a good thing or a bad thing?"
"A bit of both, I guess."
The girl next to me nods her head and then carries on with her work.
"I can't seem to let her go." I mumble, mostly to myself but loud enough for the girl who reminds me of Willow to hear.
She gives me a strange look.
"Is she your girlfriend?" She asks me whilst facing the board.
"Was. I kind of pissed her off...and upset her."
"Oh...why don't you go meet her and surprise her." She suggests.
"Can't. She lives in London."
"Oh...wow that sucks."
I nod.
"Call her."
I sigh.
"That's what everyone is telling me to do."
"Maybe because you should do it."
I put my head on the table, feeling absolutely exhausted. It feels like I haven't slept in years even though I know it's only been a few days. I haven't gotten used to the time difference.
I also keep having dreams about Mum and they always end up with me waking up and crying my eyes out.
I close my eyes and end up falling asleep in Chemistry...again.
