Alex's POV
I flashed her a smile before I faced the crowd. They were going crazy. "How are we doing tonight Baltimore?" I yelled into the mic. They cheered in response. "Awesome, we are going to start off with Dear Maria. I wanna hear you sing along with me!" I said before we started.
I got your picture
I'm coming with you
Dear Maria, count me in
There's a story at the bottom of this bottle
And I'm the pen
When the lights go off
I wanna watch the way you
Take the stage by storm
The way you wrap those boys around your finger
Go on and play the leader
'Cause you know it's what you're good at
The low road for the fast track
Make every second last
'Cause I got your picture
I'm coming with you
Dear Maria, count me in
There's a story at the bottom of this bottle
And I'm the pen
Make it count when I'm the one
Who's selling you out
'Cause it feels like stealing hearts
Calling your name from the crowd
Then in the field you'll be the show girl of the home team
I'll be the narrator
Telling another tale of the American dream
I see your name in lights
We can make you a star
Girl, we'll take the world by storm
It isn't that hard
'Cause I got your picture
I'm coming with you
Dear Maria, count me in
There's a story at the bottom of this bottle
And I'm the pen
Make it count when I'm the one
Who's selling you out
'Cause it feels like stealing hearts
Calling your name from the crowd
Whoa...
Ha ha..
Take a breath, don't it sound so easy
Never had a doubt
Now I'm going crazy watching from the floor
Take a breath and let the rest come easy
Never settle down
'Cause the cash flow leaves me always wanting more
'Cause I got your picture
I'm coming with you
Dear Maria, count me in
There's a story at the bottom of this bottle
And I'm the pen
Make it count when I'm the one
Who's selling you out
'Cause it feels like stealing hearts
Calling your name from the crowd
'Cause I got your picture
I'm coming with you
Dear Maria, count me in
There's a story at the bottom of this bottle
Carrie's POV
They started out will Dear Maria which was one of my favorite songs. I couldn't help but dance around and sing along. I looked over and saw Lauren doing the same. I'm glad I got to share this night with her.
"I cant believe we are watching them live right now, let alone side stage." I told Lauren
"Yea me either. Its the best night of my life and I'm glad I'm with you." she said while she hugged me and I agreed.
The rest of the night went by so fast but I had an amazing time. Alex would flash me his beautiful smile every now and then. He also came backstage to make sure I was having a good time. He is such an amazing person.
Alex's POV
This was by far one of my favorite shows. The crowd was insane and I could tell that Carrie was having a good time. And for some reason that made me happy. It was time for the last song of the night.
"So for the last song I was thinking we could slow it down, is that okay?" I yelled to the crowd. They responded with cheers like always.
"Awesome, so I hope you all had amazing night. Thank you for being the best fans ever. Just remember to always be yourself and never let anyone tell anyone you're less then amazing. I love you all, stay strong always. This last song is dedicated to a friend who is here tonight. She's been through a lot and I wanna let her know she's loved. So I wanna see everyone put up hearts!"
Carrie's POV
As Alex was giving his speech I couldn't help but tear up. I finally felt like I belonged somewhere even if it was just for tonight. He flashed me a smile and saw I was crying and he told the crowd to hold on and he walked over to me. "Are you okay, why are you crying." he asked. "Yea I'm good, I just feel like I finally belong. Thank you for everything you've done for me." I replied. "No problem." He smiled at me while he pulled me into a hug and kissed my forehead before running off to the stage again. Although he was completely sweaty that hug was amazing, it made me feel safe.
Alex's POV
I ran back on stage. "Sorry about that guys, here we go!"
My ship went down
In a sea of sound.
When I woke up alone I had everything:
A handful of moments I wished I could change
And a tongue like a nightmare that cut like a blade.
In a city of fools,
I was careful and cool,
But they tore me apart like a hurricane...
A handful of moments I wished I could change
But I was carried away.
Give me therapy.
I'm a walking travesty
But I'm smiling at everything.
Therapy...
You were never a friend to me
And you can keep all your misery.
My lungs gave out
As I faced the crowd.
I think that keeping this up could be dangerous.
I'm flesh and bone,
I'm a rolling stone
And the experts say I'm delirious.
Give me therapy.
I'm a walking travesty
But I'm smiling at everything.
Therapy...
You were never a friend to me
And you can take back your misery.
Arrogant boy,
Love yourself so no one has to.
They're better off without you.
(They're better off without you.)
Arrogant boy,
Cause a scene like you're supposed to.
They'll fall asleep without you.
You're lucky if your memory remains.
Give me therapy.
I'm a walking travesty
But I'm smiling at everything.
Therapy...
You were never a friend to me
And you can take back your misery.
Therapy...
I'm a walking travesty
But I'm smiling at everything.
Therapy...
You were never a friend to me
And you can choke on your misery.
The entire time I was singing I was constantly looking over to Carrie as she was being held by her friend Lauren. She would smile every time I looked over at her. The song and night ended.
"Thank you everyone. You've been an amazing crowd I love all. Goodnight!" I screamed while they screamed back at me. The guys and I then ran off stage. " You guys did awesome" I said to Rian, Zack, and Jack while we got water and towels. They smiled back and went to the green room. I turned to Carrie and her friend. "So did you guys have a good time?" I asked
Carrie's POV
"So did you guys have a good time?" Alex asked. "Yes an amazing time, again thank you so much!" I said excited "Again no problem." with that he grabbed my hand and took me down a hallway again.
