Love. That's what everyone dreams of having. People all around dream of finding the one special person to sweep them off their feet and constantly fill them with affection. All year round the constant desire for a lover is there but now, in February, the desire and need is absolute.
For the God of Love, [Name] this is the busiest time of the year. You'd expect the God of Love to be, well a Goddess but it is a male.
[Name] is no Cupid. [Name] only helps people that deserve the privilege to have a long term partner. Everyone expects the God of Love to be sweet and gentle but that is not the case. [Name] is a fairly gentle person but he is a giant flirt that always messes around causing trouble for his blessed vessel. [remind u of a trashy setter and his boyfriend??? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)]
Well [Name] can't help it. He is just to darn handsome. [Name] has [hair color] and shiny [eye color] eyes that are way to memorizing. He has that million dollar smile that can get people to do anything.
[Name] smiles widely as people of all ages young or old come to his shrine and pray to the God of Love. "I have a lot of work to do," [Name] said to his blessed vessel, Harima. Harima is a small sixteen year old boy. He has dark hair and light green eyes. [Name] and Harima have been partners for centuries.
Harima frowns, "We always have work!"
[Name] smiled and patted Harima's head, "Cheer up Harima!"
"Yeah yeah," Harima sighed as he watched a group of girls pray to his idiot master. A girl with brown hair and purple eyes wasn't praying though. Harima was curious, most young girls would constantly visit the shrine everyday hoping that their crush would like them back. The girl noticed Harima as they made eye contact. Harima expected her to look away and not even notice him but she didn't. Harima's eyes widen, can she see me? Harima waved to see if she would respond. The girl waved very hesitantly. Harima smiled widely, "[Name]!!" Harima went to look for his master excitedly.
"Yeah Harima?" [Name] said as he munched on some chips.
"She can see us!" Harima said and jumped, "she can see us!"
[Name] titled his head, "who can see you?"
Harima pointed to the spot where he saw the girl and there she was but, she was with two boys. [Name] grinned widely as he saw the two males. He recognized one, the Yato God. [Name] quickly walked to the trio, Harima following.
"Why isn't is the Yato God?" [Name] said with a smirk on his beautiful face, "What can I help you with?"
The trio all stare at the God of Love. Hiyori blushes widely as she looks at the God. Yato notices this and gets angry. Yato crosses his arms and pouts like a child. Yukine smiles warily and elbows Yato. Yato only looks away.
"I'm sorry for Yato," Yukine says and rubs his neck, "I'm Yukine, Yato's regalia."
"Nice to meet you Yukine-kun," [Name] smiles sweetly making Yukine flustered.
"This is Hiyori," Yukine points to the flustered girl as she bows, "Nice to meet you."
"Hello. I'm the God of Love, [Name] and this is my blessed vessel, Harima." Harima puts his hand up and says a simple yo.
"Now how may I help you?" [Name] asks. Yato was still pouting but he quietly murmured something. "I'm sorry what was that?"
Yato sighed and yelled, "i need your help with a job!"
[Name] raised his eye brow and smirked, "oh really? The infamous Yato God needs my help?"
Yato frowned and crossed his arms, "I told you Yukine. This jerk won't help us!"
Yukine looked blankly at Yato, "it's because you're being rude." Yato felt an arrow go through his heart as he fell to the ground.
[Name] laughed angelically as he looked at Yato on the ground. "I never said I wouldn't help you." Yato sat up and eyes [Name] suspiciously. "but on one condition."
Yato groaned, "and what is that?"
"You go on a date with me." Everyone looked at [Name] with wide eyes, even Harima. [Name] is not one to ask people on dates. Yes, [Name] is a giant flirt but he never hooks up with people, let alone date them.
"M-master?" Harima was seriously confused. He knows his master and him asking someone on a date is simply unheard of.
Yato was beyond bewildered, but completely flattered. Yato knows a lot about [Name] and he is fully aware of his dating past.
Yukine grabbed Yato and Hiyori and quickly frowned a circle. "Ok Yato I know what you're going to say so we need to compromise."
Yato had a slight blush on his face as he gazed at the ground, "I never said I wouldn't do to."
Hiyori blushes wildly as she pictured Yato being carried away by [Name].
Yukine stares at Yato as he turns around. Yato doesn't make eye contact with [Name] as he says, "I'll do it."
[Name] has a sincere smile on his face, "perfect."

No one said a word as Yato, Yukine and Hiyori returned home. Yato quickly walked into his room and placed himself under his covers. As he remembered today's events, his face exploded in a deep blush. Not soon after Yato's phone buzzed.

Subject: our date~!ヾ(*ゝω・*)ノ
Hey Yato! Let's meet tomorrow at the park near my shrine at 3:00pm. (',,•ω•,,)♡
Can't wait for our date!

Yato smiled and continues to blush. His heart began to beat fast as he imagined what things they would do tomorrow.

Yato waited arrived at the park ten minutes earlier than he originally planned to. He found a bench and painterly waited. About five minutes after he felt someone's hand covers his eyes. The person placed their lips next to his ears and whispered, "Boo."
Yato jumped up and blushes madly as he saw it was [Name]. [Name] laughed and smiled widely, "hey Yato."
Yato noticed that [Name] was wearing casual clothing but boy did they look good on him. "Hey [Name]." Yato was being very shy at the moment and [Name] loves it.
"Let's begin our date shall we?" [Name] sticks his hand out as he awaits for Yato to grab it. Yato blushed and grabs his hand causing both their hearts to beat uncontrollably.
The two spent that day playing in the part and messing around with people at the mall. As the sun fell and night rose, they returned to the park and sat on a bench.
[Name] was humming happily as he held Yato's hand. Yato was happy as well, he expected the date to go terrible because he would be too shy but actually he wasn't at all. [Name] is actually really easy to talk to so Yato felt comfortable speaking to the God of Love.
"[Name]," Yato said. [Name] continued to gazed at the sky and hummed an answer, "why did you ask me out?" Yato desperately wanted to know why.
[Name] stopped humming, let go of Yato's hand and looked at the ground, "as pathetic as it sounds, the God of Love gets lonely too." Yato frowned and wrapped his arm around [Name]'s waist. [Name] leaned into Yato and sighed. "And I really like you Yato. Like a lot." Yato blushes and smiled fondly at [Name].
Boldly, Yato used his free hand to gently grab [Name]'s face so they could make eye contact. "I really like you too [Name]." [Name] smiled and quickly pushed his lips upon Yato's.
Yato's eyes widen but of course he kisses back. The kiss was full of warm emotions and innocence after all this is [Name] and Yato's first kiss. [Name] placed his hands on Yato's hips pushing him closer. Yato wrapped his arms around [Name]'s neck deepening the kiss. Needing air, the two pulled apart breathing heavily. A large smile was upon [Name]'s face. Yato kissed [Name['s nose and blushed. [Name] know has truly experiences love firsthand.
After all, it is February, the month of love.
