Fawn's POV
"Kath,wake up." I groaned and flutter my eyes open and met another set of eyes. Kelan pa ako nagkaroon ng kasama sa apartment ko?!
Napatayo ako at napatingin sa paligid. Plane?..Oh. Ohh.
Napatingin ako kay Daniel who's looking at me weirdly.
"Hey Deej,when did we arrive?." I asked and he looks confused na parang kinakabahan.
"30 minutes ago.." Kinakabahan niyang sagot
"You let me sleep for 30 minutes?." He nodded nervously.
"Aww that's so sweet,thanks Deej." I said and peck him on the cheeks.
Tiningnan ko ang paligid at napansin na wala na yung mga gamit kaya tumayo na rin ako at bababa na sana. But looked back.
I saw Daniel na nakahawak sa pisngi niya.
"Are you coming with me?." He blinked and shook his head lightly. Nagmadali siyang lumapit sa akin.
Lumabas na kami ng airport nakita ko kung paano niya tingnan ang kamay ko na parang gusto niyang hawakan but he just shoved his hands into his pocket.
And the next thing I know there was screaming and flashing.
Oh god..
"I'm sorry babe,I didn't know na malalaman nila." He said and he looked so nervous at parang takot na takot. Sa akin. What the hell has Kathryn been doing?
Ngumiti na lang ako and we walked out of the airport. People are stopping the fans and press to go near us.
"Kath,pls papicture ako!." A girl screamed at mukhang umiiyak na siya. Tiningnan siya ni Daniel na parang naaawa at parang halos matumba na ito ng makita niyang lumapit ako dito.
"Hey sweety what's your name?." I asked her and she squealed.
"Ohmygod...L-liza" She said shakily so I smiled at her.
"Hi Liza,what did you want?." I asked. Inabot niya yung phone niya kaya tumabi ako sa kanya bago ko kunan yung selfie namin at pinirmahan yung likod ng phone niya.
At inulit ko yun sa mga tao pa na nandito hanggang makasakay kami sa black SUV na sumundo sa amin. Tinitigan ako ni Daniel.
"You hate fans." Hindi niya makapaniwalang sabi. Tiningan niya ako na para akong puzzle pero nginitian ko lang siya and took out my phone.
To Fawn:
This is so strange ....Daniel is looking at me weirdly...
I sent it and got a reply right away.
From Fawn:
Yeah, just be yourself anyways. Sanay si Daniel sa akin. Hindi ko siya kinakausap, niyayakap, or kiss him. Anything really. Gawin mo kung anong gusto mo. Niloko ko siya into falling for me and then I changed sa totoong ako. Daniel somehow always believe na ang totoong ako ay isang facade. Anyways he'll love you! xx
I want to slap my sister right now.Sobrang sama niya.Hindi ko malaman kung paano kami naging magkamag-anak.
"Sinong ka-text mo?." Daniel asked me with a sad face. Ba't naman siya malulungkot kung may ka-text ako?
"Why?." I asked him at binasa ang old messages ni Kathryn.Tiningan ko yung pinaka-bago and it's with a guy named Nathan.
Nathan:I had fun last week :)
Kathryn:Yeah,we should do it again.;)
Nathan:Sa susunod wear a purple lace,you'll look sexy in it.xx
Kathryn:Sure babe,pero nalaman na ni Daniel..pero wala akong pakealam.
Nathan:Hahahaha...he's such a loser.
Kathryn:I know,he's stupid -_-
Nathan:I know see you tomorrow in Manila,babe :)
Napanganga ako sa mga texts. She's horrible. And ang pinakahuling text eh kaninang umaga lang. Ohmygod! I'm gonna ditch him like seriously!
"Pinamumukha mo ba talaga sa akin. Nabasa ko yung mga texts mo diba? With Nathan." His voice was so small it even cracked lightly. I looked at him then at the phone.
"Well..." I started then huffed. Damn you Kath! She is a real bitch and everyone will think that I am too!
Great.
"I'm sorry about that I'll even let you delete his number. Here." Pumunta ako sa contact lists ko at inabot sa kanya ang phone ko. Tinaasan ako ng kilay ni Daniel and slowly took the phone.
"Is this some kind of test?Are you gonna..flip out on me afterwards?." Tanong niya sa akin but I just shook my head.
"Nope hindi ko siya gusto, Nathan is nothing to me." Sumandal ako sa upuan ko at pinanood siyang basahin ang mga texts "ko" at ni Nathan. He got to the last one and look at it for a while. Nilagay ko yung kamay ko sa likod niya and draw circles on his back. Daniel looked back at me at binigyan ako ng maliit na ngit,i I then smiled back. Nakita kong dinelete niya yung contact pati na rin yung messages.
Daniel then leaned back beside me tsaka inabot ang phone ko.
"Edi sino yung katext mo?The time wasn't right." Daniel looked at me hesitantly.
"It was Fawn." Sabi ko kaya nanlaki yung mga mata niya.
"Yung kapatid mo na kahit ngayon hindi mo pa rin pinapakilala sa akin?" He asked and I nodded.
"Diba tumigil ka na sa pakikipagusap sa kanya?." Tanong niya kaya tumango ako ulit.
"Yeah..honestly sa Paris siya nakatira. Nagkita kami and we're trying to start fresh." Sabi ko
"That's cool.Anong ginagawa niya?." Tanong ni Daniel
"She's in college." Simple kong sagot
"Studying?"
"She's studying to become a book editor and a publisher." Sabi ko sa kanya dahil yun naman talaga ang ginagawa ko. I love reading and writing, that's my passion.
"So as weird as it sounds nag-aaral siya ng English major. Sa France." Natawa siya ng konti sa huli kong sinabi. Daniel is actually a very handsome man.
"So you're basically total opposites." Dugtong niya. My phone buzzes again and Daniel frown as he looked at me.
From Fawn:
Ughh!!Ang dami mong libro.I hate reading.May mga hot guys ba dito?
I grimaced, yun lang ba ang lagi niyang iniisip?
To Fawn:
Akala ko ba magbabago ka na? And if you really must know my model sa baba ng floor ko his name is Marco. Never ko naman siyang kinausap.
I locked the phone and the car stopped. Bumukas yung pinto and bumaba na si Daniel. He offered me his hand and I gladly accepted it. He quickly let go though.. Right ayaw nga pala ni Kathryn magpahawak.
"You're uhm..stil m-moving in right?." Tanong niya sakin somewhat scared and nervous.
"Of course.." I said happily. He nodded and unlocked the door.
Pagpasok namin, I looked around at nanlalaki pa ang mga mata ko. Ang ganda...with my back on Daniel I heard screaming and shouting. Daniel frozed in his tracks, then his front door flew open and in entered 4 very loud guys. Niyakap nila si Daniel and one of them even kissed his cheeks, then frozed. They looked at me as if I have an extra head then sumama ang mga tingin nila.
