"Please Fawn do it for me,pretty please."Pagmamakaawa sa akin ni Kathryn.
So kambal kami ni Kathryn.But we're total opposite.She's like the biggest model in the world pero naka-base siya sa Philippines.While isa lang akong bookworm na nakatira sa Paris.See the difference?
Geek at Supermodel.
"It's never going to work Kath,wala tayong similarities." I groaned and continue punching my punching bag.
I actually enjoy boxing.
"Yes we are. We're twins,stupid." She rudely said. That's another difference she has the attitude. Habang ako yung mabait. I'm never angry.
"Ang ibig kong sabihin ay personalities,stupid." I mimicked her. Okay except her. Kath is stubborn lahat ng gusto niya nakukuha niya.
"So ikaw naman yung mabait,madali lang yun para sayo." Sabi niya
"Eh paano naman yung boyfriend mo, career, house, friends and everything?. Tanong ko pabalik sa kanya.
I stopped boxing and walk into the bathroom. Sumunod naman siya at ni-lock ang pinto. I stripped out of my clothes and walk on the shower. Sinara ko naman yung shower curtain. Habang siya eh nag ne-nail polish lang.
"I was gonna dump him. Masyado siyang maingay,isip bata,obnoxious,annoying. Do you want me to go on? And I don't have friends really. Fawn its called co-workers." Sagot niya
"Fawn Denise Bernardo, please do this for me. Do you have any idea how bored I am to my life right now. Sobrang sawa na ako na laging may nanonood sa akin. Please.." Pagmamakaawa niya pa
"Besides they'll love you. Mabait ka, sweet all the things I don't have." Pangungumbinsi niya pa. I rinsed the soap off of my body at binalot ang sarili ko sa towel.
"Eh ba't hindi ka na lang umalis at wag na akong idamay sa gulo mo?." Tanong ko habang nagbibihis.
"Well,gusto ko lang subukan muna. Maybe a month or two. If you like it there you can stay at aayusin nating ang identity natin. While I get to live a normal life and you get to be famous and rich." Paliwang niya habang nagbibihis ako into a leggings and an over sized sweater. I also put on a pair of sneakers as I dried my hair.
Tiningnan ko ang nakakatanda kong kapatid. And yes siya ang mas matanda while I'm the younger one who needs to work her ass off at school to make my mom notice me. I'm a daddy's girl and she's mommy's. My dad is always there by my side.
Everyone knows na may kapatid si Kathryn named Fawn pero walang nakakakilala sa akin. Nobody knows what I look like kahit ang edad ko. Ayaw ni Kathryn na may maka-alam tungkol sa akin. Na she have an identical twin dahil that would suck. That's what she said.
"Please the people back home will love you more than me. In the end I'll take the blame. I don't care if I hurt them.I 'll even pay for everything. Please gusto ko lang talagang magkaroon ng tahimik na buhay.I just.." She looked at me in the eye and I saw how vulnerable she really is.
"You just?". Pagtatanong ko sa susunod niyang sasabihin.
"I just,I can't do this anymore Fawn. Sawa na ako sa magulo kong buhay. I always need to look perfect I never get to sleep." Dugtong niya and bowed her head.
"You just need to relax." I smiled at her
"I know and I can't do that with the life I have. My boyfriend is too perky for me but he's just like you. I always have to have a good publicity. I just don't wanna be in front of the spotlight anymore. Please Fawn do this for me." She once again begged.
Tiningnan ko siya at napabuntong hininga.
"Fine pero promise me that you'll be nicer and stop pushing me away.Alam mo bang nakakasakit yun?." Sabi ko and she looked sorry.
"I'm sorry about that. I promise I'll do my best." She smiled pero isa yun sa practiced smile niya. I doubt na marunong pa ba siyang ngumiti ng totoo.
"Okay,kelan ako aalis?." Tanong ko
"Right now,My driver will pick you up to the airport.At susunduin ka ni Daniel dahil dun ka sa bahay niya titira." Namutla ako ng marinig ko yun. Never pa akong nagka-boyfriend.
"Kath,never pa akong nag-kaboyfriend." Sabi ko
"Kaya yan,masasanay ka din." Sagot niya at nagsimula na akong mag-impake ng gamit niya. Geez kailangan niya ba talaga ng apat na maleta sa bakasyon niyang 3 weeks sa France. I'll probably only need one.
"Pwede namang maging ako diba.Hindi ko kayang maging ikaw." Tanong ko
"Just be yourself and pagnagtanong sila just tell the truth basta iwasan mo lang yung mga tanong na Are you Kath?" May tinawag siya at may lalaking nagbuhat ng bag ko. Binigay niya sa akin ang Iphone 7s niya at binigay ko pabalik sa kanya ang Iphone 4g ko. She grimaced pero hindi na nagsalita tungkol dito.
"Okay bye,I love you." I sighed and hug her
"Bye sis,I love you too.Lahat ah naka-plan na sa phone so hindi ka na mahihirapan.Text me kung may problema." Bilin niya and hug me back.
Ngumiti ako at naglakad na palabas.In-escort ako nung lalake.
"I'm so gonna regret this" Bulong ko sa sarili ko. Pagdating sa airport may naghihintay na sa aking private jet. What do I expect its Kath of course she'll have her own jet. Kung ako to malamang tinulong ko na lang ang pera na to sa mga bata sa Africa o sa Pilipinas.
Pagsakay ko sa jet...
"Kath!." A boy hugged me tight and I frozed. But then hugged him back
"Hi Daniel" Sagot ko he led me to a seat and sat beside me.
"Anong ginagawa mo dito?." Tanong ko dahil ang sabi ni Kath sa Pilipinas pa dapat niya ako susunduin.
"Naisipan ko kasing i-surprise ka and may shooting kasi kami dito kahapon." Sagot niya
"I really missed you for this last 3 weeks ano bang ginawa mo?." Tanong niya at pinaglaruan ang kamay ko.
"You know shopping and some stuff like that.I missed you too". Sagot ko.
Pagkasabi ko nun napataas yung ulo niya and he looked at me in confusion. What? Did I say something wrong?!. I hope not kakasimula ko pa lang sa new life na toh. Mas mahirap pala to kesa sa ine-expect ko.
"You did?" He asked in a questioning tone
"Yes,why wouldn't I?." I answered
"Because you took this three week vacation because you want a break from me remember. You said you didn't like me anymore you just left me a note." Bulong niya at parang nadurog ang puso ko sa narinig ko.
"Well,I did miss you." I smiled and laid my head into his shoulder. Naramdaman kong nanigas siya sandali pero nawala din naman agad.
Naramdaman ko na lang na napapapikit na ako sa antok. Napangiti ako ng maramdaman kong hinalikan niya ang noo ko.
"Sleep well, love." He whispered softly so I did.Hoping na he wont hate me after this he seemed so sweet.
