The man dragged my lifeless body out onto the field. The sensation was weird, I could hear everything he was saying and feel the pain he was putting me through but I couldn't do anything about it. His sharp nails dug into my leg and he leans forward his fangs grazing across my face.
"It hurts doesn't it." He whined in my ear. I desperately wanted to thrash out as agony whirred around my body but I was paralysed to the spot. The pain I felt was unexplainable as he hit me another time. I could feel the pain everywhere as it radiated around my body. My chest internally screamed as he slashed his claws across them.
I could hear someone scream my name as another round of slashes round my chest. A scream escaped my mouth startling both myself and my attacker. He stopped, staring at me confused as another wave of pain hit me. Footsteps rushed towards us causing the man to stop looking up. He must of saw something that scared him as he ran away from the both of us.
Then I was in his arms as he cradled me, stroking my face. His tears dropped onto my face as I tried to move my lips, trying to say his name.
"Jackson." It came out like a whisper barely audible but he heard it nonetheless.
"I'm here it's okay, I'm here." He whispered his fingers stroking across my face over and over again.
"It hurts." My voice cracked as more blood oozed out of each and every wound.
"I know babe, I know." His voice was raw with emotional pain as his arms tightened around me.
"I'm so sorry." I cried knowing that dying was inevitable at this moment. "I'm leaving you like everyone left me."
"Shh," he soothed stroking my hair back. "You will never leave me, not truly okay? You will always be with me, no matter where you are you hear?" His voice was strong with a passion that was unrecognisable.
"Promise you won't forget me?" I whispered feeling like a child who was worthless.
"I promise I will never forget you, never okay?"
"Okay."
We were silent for a few blissful moments as my breath tightened in my throat. Flashbacks of my life flew across my mind, playing like a tv screen. I saw the moment where I first met Scott, stiles and Lydia, I saw my first kiss, I saw the first book I've ever cried over, I saw my first day in high school and then I saw the day I fell in love. Shared laughter and kisses flashed across my mind along with side hugs and playful punches to the arm. Flashes of our relationship passed over me when his voice brought me out of my trance with the image of his eyes hovering over me. His words were the last words I will ever hear if only I could have said them back.
"I love you."
