The next morning, I open my eyes and slowly sit up in bed. I look around the room and see that it's empty. While yawning, I stand up; avoiding hitting my head on the top bunk.
I look up to see Kenshi sleeping on the top bunk,I wonder what happened after I fell asleep last night.
"Hey, hey Kenshi wake up." I say poking his cheek and feeling something wet. Ew I didn't know he drooled while he slept.
"Hey c'mon Kenshi I need you to help me with something." I shake him and his eyes open slightly,
"Page...?" He says slowly and I nod my head.
"Yeah, sorry to wake you up I just wanted to ask you something." He sits up and shakes his head, yawning.
"No it's fine, I'm supposed to wake up anyway. I've gotta go to work soon, so whats up?" He asks and I sigh.
"Ugh look I'm sorry about last night, I just had a bad day with Eisuke and stuff..." I say and he shakes his head.
"No it's fine, you shouldn't have been told last." He says scratching the back of his neck, I look around awkwardly.
"So... why is Baba coming with us?" I ask Kenshi and he makes eye contact with me. He stares at me for a little before sighing.
"Oh well I guess I'll tell you." He hops off the top bunk and sits on the bottom, while he's talking I sit next to him.
"We have to invite Baba with us because he is obviously a more experienced thief than us and we kind of need that for this misson." He takes a deep breath,
"Well you see we have to go to a certain somewhere to steal a rare diamond. We have to get that diamond to the Filthy Rich Kids, a what you could call terrorist group from destroying Tres Spades, and everyone whose in it." He says and I look at him confused.
"Why would the want to do that?" I ask and he looks at me sadly.
"It's the money, that's all they think about." He says and stands up.
"Well, I'm going downstairs now so come down whenever you want. You want me to bring you a glass of water?" He asks and I shake my head with a smile. He smiles back and leaves the room, he's so nice.
"Well I guess I had better go down there and talk to the rest of the guys, I have to apologize." I put on my shoes and head down stairs.
As I was walking down stairs I hear a bunch of yelling. I rush down and quickly have to duck from a flying glass bottle that's about to hit my head.
I raise my head and look in front of me. All the guys, including Baba are trying to calm down what looks like a drunk guy.
"Wow... I never knew someone could get so drunk in the morning." His face was bright red and he was clearly not in a playful mood.
"Sir, we need you to calm down." Hiro says standing in front of the man, he doesn't cooperate and he pushes Hiro roughly to the ground. He doesn't stand back up and blood starts to slowly cover the floor.
"Hiro!" I instinctively yell and the man looks over to me, a wicked smirk spreads across his face.
"Now that's what I'm talking about." He says to himself, oh gosh that's not good. He soon makes a break towards me, running fast and I take off in another direction.
I try to get away from him by jumping over a table but he pushes it aside. Shit this is really not good, who knows what will happen if he gets a hold of me!
While I'm running I feel a pair of arms grab me and someone pushing me behind them.
"Look you need to stop! Leave her alone!" I hear the familiar voice of Riki, with both his hands out to the side so the man can't run around him.
"Look all I want is another drink, and maybe a girl would be nice." He smirks at me again and I grab onto Riki's shirt.
Okay Riki's a pervert, so is Takuto but you see they are just idiots. This guy takes it to a whole new, creepy level.
"You need to leave right now." Riki stays sternly and pushes me behind him a little more.
"I'm not going anywhere until I get something more to drin-" He cuts himself off when he feels the cold metal of a gun pressed against his temple.
"Now look we don't want to cause a scene, just go and leave the girl and the rest of us alone." The man looks at Baba with a shocked expression.
"I-I'm going to tell the police about this." The man says, realizing what's going on.
"Wheres your proof that any of this happened? Plus I doubt the cops will believe a drunk man in the morning." Baba says and the man looks confused at all of us.
"Who are you people...?" Takuto goes up to him and whispers in the opposite ear the gun is pointed at.
"We're the Black Foxes." The man looks at Takuto to see an evil smile and he falls to the floor.
"... Well that just happened." I say and Riki turns around,
"Oh Page, your face." He says, I sigh and shake my head.
"Yeah I forgot to take my makeup off before I fell asleep."
"No, you've got a cut across your cheek." He says and I look puzzled at him. I lift my hand up and feel my cheek before looking at my hand again. Sure enough there was a smear of blood.
"Why isn't anyone else in here?" I ask and Takuto explains,
"We weren't open in the first place, he was drunk when he walked in. He asked for more beer or something but we didn't want to give him any so he started having a fit. Breaking stuff, throwing bottles; It was just plain crazy." He says shaking his head and kicking the man slowly with his foot to see if he will respond.
I look over to see Hiro who is still lying on the floor, an even bigger pool off blood surrounding him now. I rush over to him and kneel down,
"Hey Hiro, wake up." He doesn't respond. The other guys come around and boss pulls out the first aid kit.
We rap a bandage around his head and it soon has a big red stain in it.
"Kenshi can you take Hiro up to the beds?" He nods and picks him up slowly, carrying him up the stairs while avoiding the remains from the bottle that got thrown at me.
Riki looks over to me, holding the first aid kit in his hand.
"Sit down, I'll clean up that cut for you." He says and I don't argue. I sit on a bench and he sits next to me, starting to wipe the cut on my cheek with a disinfection wipe.
"Ow that stings!"
"Just put up with it, it'll be over in a sec." He says and I stop moving my face. We both go quiet.He puts a band aid over my cut and stands up to put the first aid kit away. You have to apologise, now.
"Hold on, Riki." I stand up fast and rush in front of him.
"What, I'll come back just give me a second okay?" He trys to walk around me but I move in the same directions as him so he can't. As soon as he figures out I'm not going to let him pass he sighs and stands still.
"Alright, what is it?" Okay, don't mess this up Haruka.
"*sigh* I'm sorry about yelling at you yesterday, I just didn't get why you told me last. I think I was just tired, I got told off and somewhat threatened from that big millionaire but it wasn't right for me to yell at you guys. I'm really sorry about that." I look away from him down to the floor, but he comes closer to me and lifts my chin.
"I'm sorry too, okay? I didn't mean to tell you last, I just wanted to make sure everything was right before you knew. So, you forgive me?" He asks and I smile.
"You're supposed to forgive me you idiot." I say and he hugs me.
"Haha fine, then we're even."
I help the guys clean up just before boss decides it's alright for us to open.
"Sorry about before boss." I say, he shakes his head as he starts wiping a glass.
"No way, you were being chased by a drunk guy. It wasn't your fault so it's okay." He says and I nod my head. He places the glass down and sighs,
"Haruka could you please get me a bottle off water, there should be one in the fridge at the back."
"Yeah sure, I'll be back." I open the fridge and take out a bottle of water, just as I turn around I see Takuto standing right behind me.
"Porky! Don't scare me like that." I puff out my cheeks in annoyance,
"What, all I was really doing was standing behind you." He pushes past me, opening the fridge and taking out a juice box.
"Haha you still drink those?" I say and he blushes.
"What? It's not like theirs an age restriction on them is there?" He says poking a hole into the box and taking a huge gulp out of it.
I shake my head while laughing and we both leave the back room. Just as I'm giving boss his bottle of water he talks to me,
"Hey I'm sorry to ask you this, but could you please take the orders from the people at table five?" He asks me and I nod my head.
"Yeah sure that's fine." I say and he sighs with relief,
"Thanks your a life saver." He hands me a note pad and a pen so I go and take their orders.
"Hello, have you decided to what you would like?"I ask them with a smile. There's a man and a woman at the table, guessing it's a first date.
"Yes um I would like the spaghetti and meatballs, could I also get a bowl of plain noodles?"
"Yeah sure thing, and for the lady?" I say scribbling words down,she looks nervous to say what she wants.
"Uhm could I please have the shepherds pie, that will be all for me." She says nervously, I write it down, keeping the smile on my face.
"Alright you got it, would you like anything to drink?"
"Yes could I please have a soda?"
"Ah some water would just be fine for me." I finish up taking their order and hand the note pad to boss.
"Here."
"Thanks kid, you're the best." He heads into the kitchen to make their food.
I go upstairs to check on Hiro,I walk into the room and see Baba sitting on a chair next to the bed, I also see Kenshi reading a book on the top bunk.
"Hey, Kenshi I thought you had work."
"Meh I didn't feel like going." He says, I look over to Baba.
"What're you still doing here? Don't you have a date to go on?" I ask him sarcastically and he laughs.
"No, how could I do that? Especially when there' s someone as beautiful and you around." He winks at me and I shake my head.
"Stop saying weird stuff like that, how's he doing huh?" I ask Baba, trying to change the subject.
"His head's stopped bleeding, which is good but it doesn't look like he's gonna wake up. We might take him to the hospital soon." He says and I nod.
"So um, sorry about going off last night. I feel like I kind of directed it at you the most." I say and he looks at me.
"It doesn't matter, as long as you know whats going to happen. Has someone explained it to you yet?" Baba asks and Kenshi pipes up.
"Yup, I did." Hm so all we have to do is steal a diamond, get it to this 'terrorist group' and just make sure they don't blow up Tres Spades. Sounds easy enough.
"Hey Kenshi, where are we stealing the diamond from anyway?" He looks over to me,
"From a museum."
"No shit, where is the museum?" At my question they both share a look.
"What? where are we going?" Baba puts a hand on my shoulder and smirks at me,
"Pack your bags. We're going to Australia."
