Side note- I am highly irritated by readers who criticize Auggie's speech. 99.9 percent of
children do not speak with not with 100 percent fluency as a child. And I'm sure you critics aren't in the 1%.
Children have to still learn to put sentences and words together to the slow folks. So if this chapter bothers you, don't bother to comment. Better yet, don't read. And actually go research children's speech.
Just like the idiots who criticized the way Aug talked. Thanks to the readers who clarified I wrote his dialect. Nobody talks in complete sentences, if they did conversation would be robotic. Therefore I'm not gonna write it that way.

Auggie POV-
Five months later
"Hey mommy's strong man. Hey baby." Amiri giggled and kicked wildly as mommy lifted him in the air.
I got on the bed and watched them hoping mommy would notice me.
"Mommy do me." I laughed.
"You too big A3. Tell him Miri say he too big." She rubbed her nose against his.
He grabbed her hair.
"Miri." She laughed loosing his grip.
"A3 can you hand me Miri's bottle off the dresser."
"Aw man." I sighed and got off the bed to get it.
That's all mommy wants me to do now is get stuff for Miri. I no like being a big brother anymore. I wanna be the only boy.
"Hey Mama's strong man." She touched her nose with his again and he kicked his feet.
I got her his bottle hoping she would notice and add me to their playing, but she only took it and said thank you. Then went back to playing with Miri.
I no like this. Mommy doesn't spend time with me anymore since we brought Miri home.
This is unfair. I no want him anymore. But I don't know how to get rid of him. Maybe Sata can help me.
I got off the bed and walked across the hall to Sata's room. She was playing tea time with her dolls.
I hate girly games. I miss O. He would play boy games with me.
"Sata me need your help."
"I'm having tea time. Go away." She said scooting in the chair of one of her dolls.
"Mrs. Nugget you are right on time." She told the doll.
". It's an me-mergency."
She sighed. "What?" She said with an attitude. "You're interrupting my tea time."
"Me no want Miri no more."
"What do you mean you don't want Miri?"
"He uh-noting."
"Like you." She rolled her eyes and poured one of her dolls fake tea.
"Can we give him back?" I asked, hoping we could.
"I don't think so."
"Maybe we sale him."
"Sale him?"
"Mm-hm. Rememba we had a lemonade sale."
"Oh yeah. We can have a baby sale."
"Yeah!" I sat on her bed. Excited about the new idea.
"Don't mess up my Princess Tiana covers."
"Me not."
"What would we need for a baby sale tho?" Sata asked me.
"Me no, know." I shrugged.
"Uh....pics of Miri. So the people that buy can see what he look like."
"Me no have pics."
"Draw it stupid."
"Oh yeah."
She got up to get me some paper and crayons. "Sit here." She pointed to her little table and gave me the crayons and paper.
"You draw Miri. I'll draw the sign."
"How much Miri cost?" I asked drawing Miri.
"Uh... We can get candy."
"Ohhhhh yeah."
"I'll make a list. What kind?" Sata said.
"Snickers. Yum!" I said.
"Skittles." She suggested.
"me love skittles. The purple kind." I said drawing.
"Twix." She added.
"Can we get chips too?"
"Oh yeah!!!"
Sata rubbed her hands together.
"And popcorn!" I said excited.
"Cousin Bobby Ray said eating popcorn makes eggs grow in your throat." Sata said making the sign and the list.
"Yuck. No popcorn den." Me no wanted eggs in my throat.
"Who buy Miri Sata?"
"Well somebody with a lot of food."
"Uncle Boobie? He eat a lot."
"He's too far away."
"Cousin Bobby Ray?"
"Yes he has a lot of food." Sata said.
"How we ask em?"
"Uh...we call him."
"Pop-pop no like us talking to him."
"So we ask mommy to call him."
"And den we sale Miri?"
"Yeah. For candy and chips." She said drawing the sign.
"Mommy might be sad tho Auggie. And Pop-pop." Sata warned me.
"They be better. We give dem some chips."
"Yeah chips make me feel better. Doritos."
"Yeah me love Doritos. Huh." I handed her my picture.
"You got to write his name under it."
"Me no, know how to spell it."
"Uh Miri. M-r-e."
I wrote down what she said.
"Now all I have to do is finish the sign and we call."
We heard Pop-Pop coming up the stairs toward Sats room."
"Hide the stuff under my bed."
We both tried to quickly hide the stuff under her bed.
"What y'all in here doing?"
"Nothing." Sata smiled.
"What y'all put under the bed?"
"Nut-ting." I said and kicked the picture under the bed.
Pop-pop looked at me then came in the room and went under the bed.
"Aw Man."
I said as he pulled out our materials.
"Bab-E 4 Sal." Pop-pop read the sign.
"What is this?"
"Auggie trying to sell Miri." Sata told on me.
"Unh-unh. Tattle tail." I ran out the room crying.
August POV -
"Auggie what's wrong?" He was laying on his bed crying.
"Tell me what's wrong man?"
"Sata got a big mouf." He yelled out. "Me wanna sale her too."
"What are you talking about sale? What's got you worked up?"
"What's going on?" Amb came to the door.
"I don't know. Give me Miri. Check on him." I took Miri from Amb and went back in the room. I had just came from work and I was tired and hungry, let her deal with that.
Amber POV -
"What's wrong A3?" I patted his back.
"Hmf. Leave me alone." He scooted away from me.
"Auggie."
"Me not your friend no more mommy." He wiped his nose.
"What's wrong baby?" I picked him up and sat him on my lap. He folded his arms and pouted.
"You mad at mommy."
He shook his head yes.
"Why?"
"You no like me no more. "
"What? Mommy loves you baby."
"Unh-unh you no...no play with me no more since Miri. And you no treat me like your favorite man."
I was afraid this was going to happen and the day has arrived. 😩
"Auggie Miri's a baby he can't do anything by himself."
"Me a baby too!" He huffed and puff. His eyes red and tears streaming.
"You right you are my baby, but you're also mommy's big boy."
"Me no wanna be a big boy. Me want to be your favorite man."
"You are baby. And mommy sorry for not spending more time with you okay?"
"Okay." He hiccuped from crying.
"And mommy going to make every Friday, mommy and Auggie day. So every Friday, just me and you do something. Starting tomorrow. Okay?"
"Yeah."
"Stop working yourself up. Just because Mommy is with Miri, doesn't mean she doesn't love you. Mommy still loves you more than anything in this world and she still wants her million kisses." I kissed him all over his face. He giggled wildly.
"You still mommy favorite man?"
He shook his head yes.
"Gimme a kiss."
He gave me a kiss.
"You want to sleep with me, pop-pop and Miri?"
He shook his head yes.
"Okay come on." I grabbed his hand and we went into the room.
Aug was eating talking to Sata on the bed. Miri was sleep in his crib.
"Daddy why?"
Sata pouted.
"What she talking bout?"
"I want to go to Disney World for my birthday but daddy being a meanie." Sata folded her arms.
"Is that suppose to make me change my mind? That little pout." Aug laughed.
Sata laid on his chest and cried. "Now imma have the worse birthday."
She was so dramatic.😂
"Girl be quiet. We gon go." He told her.
"Really?" She sat up and looked at him.
"No." He laughed.
"Stop playing daddy this is important to me. Imma be 7."
"A whole 7?"
"Yes. And can we invite O?"
"I'll see."
"Please daddy. It will be the bestest birthday ever."
"I will see."
"Imma ask you everyday." She warned.
I sighed. Jesus Christ we had the most spoiled kids on the planet.
Lawd I hope Miri is not like that. 😩
