The Next Day

"Tatiana!" I yelled through our house.
I didn't get a reply, so I went to look around.
After looking everywhere I decided to upstairs. I went to our room and she was up there, watching TV.
"You came back." She said, using her sleeve to wiped her face.
She was crying and I hate I was the reason why.
"I live here." I said, taking my jacket and shoes off.
She came over and unbuttoned my shirt.
"I don't want the divorce, Michael. We all have baggage and have to get through it." She said and pecked my lips.
"Since we're being honest, do you have something you want to tell me?" I asked.
"I know you already know, but I have been sleeping with Nick. I gave it all up for you, he thinks this is his baby, but it's yours. Your turn."
I sighed, knowing I'm about to tell her I have kids.
"I have two." I said. She looked at me confused and gave me a looked to go on. "Tati, I really did get Nicole pregnant."
She moved away from me and sat on the bed.
I stood between her legs and cupped her face.
She started crying and I sighed.
"You're the father of her twins?" She asked and I nodded. "It's not fair." She moved my hands and held them. "You managed to get her pregnant first and not me."
"Tati, we're having a baby now. None of that matters." I said and crouched down.
She smiled and looked away. "Perfect."
"What is?" I asked confused.
"Nothing, but can you sign that paper over there on the desk?"
I nodded and went over there.
I didn't bother reading the title.

I signed my signature and she smiled.
