"You what?!" Louis scowls.

I hang my head down low and bury my head into my hands.

"I can't fucking believe you would do that?! Did you really think-" Louis stops, completely bewildered by my stupidity.

"I didn't want to lose her." I murmur sadly.

"So you try to knock her up?! Is that some kind of fucked up thing you've been planning if she ever tries to leave?" Louis questions.

I don't say anything.

"You've already lost her!" Louis scowls. "You slapped her again. Why would you even do that?!"

"Louis! I know. I know I fucked up okay?! I was drunk!"

"Well you fucked up even more by trying to knock her up!" Louis shakes his head in disgust and I shake my head.

"What do I do?" I murmur quietly. I manage to wipe my wet tears away as Louis places a helpful hand on my shoulder.

"Give her some time." Louis replies after a moment. "Look like I'm sorry she left you. But maybe this is for the best."

I bite my lip and sniff as I stand from the couch as I see Eleanor walk in.

She narrows her gaze at me and sighs annoyed.

"I was talking to her before." Eleanor begins before throwing a cushion at me.

"El." Louis frowns.

"I'm sorry. You just make me so angry." She growls.

"I'll be outside." I murmur before making my way out. Pulling out a cigarette, I take out my lighter and light the end as the house door opens again.

"Stop ringing her." Louis scowls as I grab my phone.

"I just want-"

"No." Louis frowns.

I sigh annoyed.

"She'll ring when she's ready."

I squeeze my eyes closed as everything inside of me melts into a pit of despair.

"I fucking hate myself!" I scowl to myself.

"You'll be right."

"It's her birthday next month." I choke. "I had everything planned out as well."

Louis frowns as I gaze at him over my shoulder. I lean down on the balcony as I take another drag.

"Maybe you guys might remain as friends, you know?" Louis reassures.

I pull out the ring casket and look down at it as Louis gapes at me.

"Wait. You were-"

"Not anymore!" I scowl annoyed before placing it back in my pocket and stamping on my cigarette as I throw it on the ground.

"Let me see."

I sigh annoyed and show him the ring.

"You even have it engraved?" Louis gapes.

"She'll never see it." I say quietly. "Don't tell her."

Louis looks at me and nods before carefully handing it back.

"I mean you guys have been together for a while. But marriage." Louis widens his gaze.

"She gave me one chance and I fucked that up." I shake my head annoyed and bury my face into my head again as more unwanted thoughts fly into my head.

All I want to do is cry, but I don't want too.

"I can't do this." I say annoyed. "I can't do this without her."

Louis out of nowhere wraps his around me in a form of a hug and I accept but I pull away quickly as I feel my eyes cloud over.

"Just cry. I know you want too. Stop fighting it!"

Lorena's POV

"Sorry how much?" I question confused.

The Indian man sighs annoyed. "Two pounds!"

"Right. Sorry." I hand it to him and he shakes his head at me annoyed.

Grabbing the rest of my food, I walk out of the store and place my items in the car.

I search for my drink and gratefully take it down before getting in the car and making my way towards the closest notice boards.

I can't see any jobs that are available around here. Not even online.

I always consider going back to the Brothel. I really would rather go back there because I know it's easy money and I'm good at it too. But I know that if Zayn ever found himself looking for me, it'll be the first place he'd go too.

I pause for a moment and shake my head as he falls into my head.

My phone vibrates and I roll my eyes because I know it's Zayn but I check it anyway and realise it's actually Liam.

Hesitating, I answer the phone and swallow.

"Hello?" My voice is shaky and I clear my throat and try agin.

"Hey. What's up?" Liam's cheerful voice sounds through the phone and I half smile.

I frown and shrug as if he could see me. "I'm just looking for some jobs."

"Oh sweet. Wanna hang tonight? My sister has this stupid bingo night and her and her boyfriend are going and I don't want to be a third wheel. I hear it's really fun." He jokes.

Say no!

"Um, okay. I need to get my mind of things anyway." I smile.

"Sweet. You need a ride-"

"No. No. It's fine. I'll meet you somewhere before going?"

"Sure thing." Liam replies. "Bingo starts at 7, so I'll meet you at the Zero bar in half an hour?"

"Sounds good." I smile.

"See you then Rena!"

"Bye." I hang up the phone and bite my lip as I look down at all the missed calls from Zayn.

I still love you.

Squeezing my eyes closed, I turn around to get back to my hotel to get changed.

Once I arrive, I read all these message from a Zayn and all the voicemails. The hurt in his voice makes me want to go back and apologise for leaving.

But I know this is a good thing.

I flick a quick text to Liam to tell him I'm about to leave.

I take one last look at my black ripped jeans and my simple grey shirt. My hair is thrown up in a careless bun and I shrug as I walk back outside.

Liam was many things to me but I do have to admit that I feel bad for sort of using him when Zayn and I together, but for some reason he seemed to never care.

Liam replies quickly and I widen my gaze as I read his texts.

*already here. See you soon then x

After arriving at the bar, I take a quick look at my bags and grab my concealer out to cover the evidence of crying.

I get out of the car and make my way inside.

I'm always awkward when I walk into a bar. It's just eery feeling of people watching you when you walk in.

I do a quick scan over the sea of heads and find Liam by the pool table and I smile as I make my way over to him.

"Hey! You made it." Liam jokes before wrapping his arms around me. "How are you?"

I shrug. "Could be better."

"Wanna game of pool before we leave? I set it up just for us." He smirks.

"I don't know? Are you prepared to get your ass kicked?" I raise my eyebrow as I grab a cue.

"I'll take my chances, sweet." He winks before gesturing towards the pool table. "Ladies first."

My phone rings against the table. I frown and he raises an eyebrow when he notices I'm ignoring it after breaking.

All through the game Zayn had kept calling and Liam was growing more and more curious.

When we were both just on the 8 ball, I take a deep breath and pull back the cue until I'm distracted by my ringing phone.

I scowl and smack the ball into the top right pocket before answering my phone.

"What?!" I scowl.

"Good game." Liam chuckles until he realises I'm on the phone.

"You answered." Zayns voice is coarse, almost as if he couldn't even speak properly.

"You shouldn't be calling me." I murmur.

"I wanted to hear your voice." He slurs

I frown. "Are you drinking?!"

Liam bites his lip nervously.

"Maybe." Zayn mumbles. "I miss you."

I roll my eyes and hang up the phone as Liam gives me a confused look.

"Do you need to go?" He questions.

I shake my head.

"Hope everything's okay." Liam frowns before patting my shoulder.

"We should probably head off then, yeah? We're probably going to be later." I change the subject.

"Oh what a shame. We're going to be late for bingo." He jokes.

I smirk and shake my head as my phone rings again.

"God I wish he'd just stop." I murmur mostly towards myself.

"Your boyfriend?" Liam questions as he pulls on his leather jacket, revealing a fair bit of happy trail.

I look back down at my phone and nod. "Yeah. We kind of broke up."

Liam widens his gaze. "Really? Since when?"

"Today." I murmur.

Liam blinks at me and winces. "Sorry. You didn't have to come tonight-"

"No it's fine. It was end of a relationship. Not end of a life." I shrug my shoulders and he frowns before letting it go.

"He'll stop eventually." Liam murmurs. "But if you'd like, I can answer the phone."

"And make things worse?"

"Well yes and no." Liam shrugs.

"You are so bad." I shake my head as my phone rings yet again.

Liam raises an eyebrow and I squeeze my eyes closed and hand him my phone.

"Are you sure?" Liam questions.

I nod and cover my mouth.

Liam takes my phone and presses it to his war. "Hello?"

I bite my lip.

"Yup. This is Lorenas phone." Liam clears his throat. "She's busy at the moment. . . Will do mate. I'll get her to call you."

Liam hands me the phone and I look at him skeptically.

"What?"

"I don't think he'll be calling anytime soon." Liam nods. "He sounds different."

I nod in agreement. "He does."
