This book was a thrilling experience; I really enjoyed the characters and twisting their stories. Though I do have some regrets, I feel that I couldn't explore full potential of characters like Drake Sullivan or Derrick Carson. Those two became my favorites too.
I also thought that adding the whole 'cancer thing' was wrong. I shouldn't touch topics that are sensitive to others unless I can handle them properly. Allyson's character lack depth, her story while had many twists and turn, was unrealistic in many ways.
Thus I have written a new version (available on my profile), I have changed names of many characters, cut some plot holes and changed how the story goes at some places. The biggest changes are that, Allyson only goes back when she grows up (16 instead of 8) and I made Derrick Carson the love interest.
Hopefully you guys will like that version too.
