Kawhi's POV
Today is going to be bitter sweet for me. My last day in high school which is crazy that's was fast. I'm ready to go to college and play basketball. I wish my pops was here to see me graduate. Tamia is going to Stanford which is fine but I'm going to San Diego State which is pretty far distance, but I'm not complaining.
Tamia's POV
I'm so scared since I'm valdectorian I have to say a speech to the class. My mom told me I would be fine, but I have stage fright. This is going to be so never racking. I don't know how I'm gonna handle everyone on the field staring at me.
"Mom" I yell. She walks into my room.
"Yes sweetheart" she answers.
I look at her on the verge of tears. She come and rub my back.
"You have nothing to worry about you will be fine" my mom encourages.
"I have stage fright I don't think I can get over it" I cry.
"Honey yes you can just do your best" she kisses me on the cheek.
"I'll try" I say. I'm ready for the most important day of my life. I text Kawhi to come over.
T: I'm freaking out
K: Lol it's just a speech
T: I have stage fright
K: so
T: just get over here
K: ask nicely
T: please whi whi
K: haha I'm be there in a few
I hear knock at the door and let kawhi in. He sits on the couch. "Okay let's me hear it" he says.
"My fellow graduates. Over the last four years here at-" cut off.
"You seem perfectly fine to me" Kawhi chuckles.
"Well because I'm just talking to you" I whine. He laughs and pulls me into him. I lay my head on his chest he rubs my back.
"You'll be fine". I hug him tightly, he kisses my forehead. I pull away
"Let's get ready" I say.
"Class let's welcome our class valdectorian Tamia Johnson"
"My fellow graduates. Over the last four years here at King High School" I start.
I take a deep breath and look at my friends. They smile at me I really can do this. I was able to do my speech and it was perfect. I run over to my family, hug my friends and then I see Kawhi. I walk to him he picks me up something he never done before and spins me around.
"So next September we are no longer gonna be in the same school" he acknowledges.
"I know crazy but we can work it out" I say.
"Yeah I know have fun at nerd school"Kawhi teases.
I glare at him "Look here you jerk Stanford is not for nerds"
"Yes it is" he sass.
"You know what I can't wait for basketball when he kicks y'all butts" I sass.
"Yeah okay " He roll his eyes.
"I'm gonna really miss you" I say.
"I know" he says.
"Can I ask you something?" I ask.
"Ask away" he answers.
"Do you think you can go to the nba?" I ask.
"I don't know but all of coaches thinks I can" he answer.
"Would you still be with me?" I ask.
"Of course I wouldn't be in college if it wasn't for you" Kawhi says. I smile and kiss him. I wonder if this is gonna be true.
