Cal left pretty much straight after our conversation as visiting times were over and I was getting tired. I managed to sleep pretty well that night as Shane had rang me to say that he was coming to get me so I knew that I wouldn’t have to deal with everyone for a while.
I know people would probably think that I was being selfish but I really needed to do this for myself. Since splitting up with Ben, I have been on such an emotional rollercoaster and right now I really don’t know what to do with myself to be completely honest.
I had spoken to my parents and explained the situation and they agreed with me wholeheartedly about me coming to stay with them for a while. I had spoken to work and they were ok with it too especially as I couldn’t work with my broken leg anyway so we just agreed that I would go back in September which gave me 4 months off. I didn’t know how long I would be at my parents but at least I knew that I didn’t have to be back for those 4 months.
Shane rang me first thing this morning to say that he was going to go to my flat for me first and pack things that I would need which I really appreciated him doing. I didn’t want to face all the baby things that I had brought that were in the flat.
There was a knock at my door that made me look up and smile as Liam came into my small room
“Hey” he grinned
“Hi Liam” I whispered. I hadn’t spoken to him since he had to leave so Ben could speak to me. Sarah had told me that she had filled him in on what had happened so I didn’t have to repeat it to him. She also told him that Cal was here.
He came and took the seat beside me “how are you feeling?” he asked
I nodded “a lot better thank you. Shanes coming today which I kind of have to speak to you about but I don’t know how you’re going to take it” I told him seriously
“Ok I’m worried now” Liam tried to laugh
I took a breath “I’m going to stay at my parents for a while and I’m not really sure when I’ll be back. I’ve agreed with work that I don’t need to be back until September so whether I stay with my parents till then, I really don’t know. Liam I hope you understand why I’m doing this. My head is so screwed up at the minute and I’m so confused about everything. I really do care for you but I’m not sure whether my feelings grew because I genuinely do like you or whether it’s just because you were there for me. I’m not trying to a bitch, I just wanted to be honest with you” I risked a glance at him but saw him smiling as he placed his hand on mine
“Amy I understand completely I promise. You’ve gone through so much lately and I guess I probably confused things a little bit but Amy I really do think that I’ve fallen for you. I’ve always liked you anyway but to see how strong and amazing you are, just made me fall in love with you. I will wait for your decision Amy”
Before I could say anything Liam leant forward and placed his lips gently to mine. I began to kiss him back as he pulled me more into him when he then strengthened the kiss.
The kiss was getting more passionate when a throat cleared behind us. We stopped and I looked round Liam to see Sarah stood there grinning. I blushed as she started laughing “sorry to interrupt guys but I’ve come to say goodbye to Amy if that’s ok?” she smirked
Liam cleared his throat “I was just going anyway” he turned back to me and placed a kiss on my forehead “please think about what I said Amy. Ring me when you get there?” I nodded back when he then smiled and left.
“That seemed kind of heavy” Sarah frowned as she took the seat where Liam was sitting
I nodded “I told him that I was leaving and then he told me that he was in love with me”
“Wow. What did you say?” she asked
“I didn’t get a chance to reply as he kissed me and then you turned up” I told her
“whoops” she laughed “although that probably was for the best as the whole point of you going away is because you don’t know what you want so you wouldn’t of known what to reply to him just then would you?”
I shook my head “I really do have no idea Sarah. There are so many pro’s and con’s for the both of them. I really do need this time away just to sort things out in my head”
She looked at me seriously as I saw a tear trickle from her eye. Which was strange as Sarah never cries! “Please don’t be gone too long babe. I need you here with me ok? And promise that you’ll ring me if you need anything and I mean anything! And in fact you better at least text me every day ok?”
I nodded as she came over to hug me “I’m going to miss you so much Sarah” I whispered
“I’m going to miss you too darl. Jake sends his goodbyes and he’s sorry he couldn’t be here but he had to work”
I laughed “its fine. I don’t expect things to change just because I’m leaving!”
She grinned “who’s going to help with my wedding plans?” she asked
“You can send me emails, you can ring me on the phone and we can do video chat while you’re looking at things ok? I’m still going to be there for you Sarah. I just can’t promise when I’ll be back” I frowned
She nodded “I understand”
There was another knock at the door and in walked Cal.
“Sorry Sarah I didn’t know you were here” he whispered as he waited by the door
Sarah ignored him and turned back to me “ring me when you get there ok? I love you Amy” she pulled me in for another hug
“I love you too Sarah. And of course I will silly”
Sarah gave me one last smile as she walked over to the door before stopping to look at Cal “I swear to god if you even think of hurting her again, I will smash your face in and chop your balls off. Got it?”
Cal just nodded but his face actually showed worry which nearly made me laugh. He closed the door behind Sarah and walked over to my bed where he perched on the side.
“So there’s no chance of me changing your mind?” he asked looking at me seriously
“You would be the third person to try but the answer will still be no” I told him
“I’m guessing Liam was here earlier as well then?” he frowned
“Yes Cal. Liam was here not that it has anything to do with you in the slightest though”
“Well I care Amy because I still love you and I don’t want him worming his way into your heart”
“Cal who I choose to let in my heart has nothing to do with you! I let you in and look what happened there! You left me so easily like I didn’t even matter at all” I told him trying not to shout
He sighed “Amy I didn’t come here to argue. I came to say goodbye. As your leaving, I’m going back to Spain”
“I’m sorry I inconvenienced you Cal” I said back with poison in my voice
“You didn’t Amy. I didn’t mean it like that. I came back for you and you’re leaving so there’s no reason for me to be here without you”
I just nodded back as I turned my head to look out of the window. I felt his hand on the side of my face turning it to make me look at him as he leant in closer to me. “Amy I love you. I always have and I always will. I will do anything to get you back in my life properly ok?” he pulled me closer until his lips met mine as they started to kiss me hungrily. “I’ve missed you so much” he told me in-between kisses.
I tried to resist kissing him back too much but he drew me in until I was kissing him just as passionately as he was kissing me. My fingers gripped onto his hair as he moaned into my mouth.
I eventually gently pushed him away “Shane will be here soon and I need to get changed” I whispered as he placed his forehead against mine.
“Ok babe. Let me know that you get there safely?”
I nodded as he placed another kiss on my lips and then left.
I got myself ready with some help from one of the nurses as I still struggled with my leg and then eventually Shane came
"Hey lil sis” he smiled as he pulled me into a hug. I winced as he hugged me a bit on the tight side “oh sorry Amy” he apologised
“Its fine” I told him as I pulled away
“You ready to go?” he asked as he picked up my bags that I had here “all your other cars are in the car”
“I’m ready” I told him smiling as I hobbled behind him on my crutches.
I really didn’t know what was going to happen in the next few months but I just hoped that they would be drama free!

Well here's the last chapter of this part of Broken. I was going to do a sequel but instead I'm just going to carry on with this but the next chapter will be set, a few months later.
I'm also going to be taking a break from Broken just because I've concentrated on it for the last 6 months and I would like to concentrate on my new story for now. So follow me and keep an eye on my posts to find out when Broken will be updated next :)
